About the author

Nancy Ann Healy is a woman of many talents and interests. She has worked as everything from a bookstore manager to a standup comedian, and she enjoys movies, theater, and karaoke in her free time. Healy is happily married to her wife, Melissa. Together they have a son, Chris, and two dogs, Maggie and Sydney Bristow. The family currently lives in Connecticut, where Healy is completing her studies in social justice through Arizona State University and working on her second novel.

Best one yet

5 star all the way with this installment of Alex, cassidy, candace and JD.

Fear

Nancy Ann Healy wrote a wonderful story with characters that always seem fresh and have new perpectives. As with some series that I have read, there is not much repetitiveness. There is new situations, both family and job related. The last two cliff hangers were surprising, yet very much followed aling with the story line.  The relationships through the families strengthen as well as the the found families continue to grow. 

I love the dynamic between The Reid family and The Toles, add in grandparents,  grandchildren, siblings, best friends. Eacg perspective that we are given just feels more of the authors heart in each page. 

Its been mentioned that the By Design and Alex and Cassidy series may be coming to an end, I am looking forward to each new book as they come and be grateful for each one.  These characters will live long in my memory and heart. Nancy Ann Healy is my first sapphic author I read, I have enjoyed each of her books she has released since and will continue to follow her as she continues to weave new and heartfelt stories of people that you would want to meet.

Good book

We see how the past has shaped the child of the Collaboration. The parents that didn't want their child in the same business as them, but still will not till them what is really happening and who controls what. The crossover with Candace and Jameson and Alex and Cassidy it makes things easier to deal with then through in Elena and Claire this keeps us on our toes to see what is going to happen next. The one thing they all want is answer but the other is hoping their children don't fall into what they are try to dismantle. Hope there is a short story of Elena and Claire their beginning and love through the years.

It's a stellar crossover book!

I don't know how author Nancy Healy keeps all these threads straight. This book is truly a phenomenal addition to both the Alex and Cassidy series and Candace and Jameson's By Design series. It's truly great writing with exciting international plot twists. The interactions with the family members are funny, serious, loving and authentic. Another terrific cliffhanger that makes me hunger for the next book!

PS - I have to admit that as much as I love this series and the author's writing style, I can't seem to keep up with all the political/espionage riddles. I can't keep them all in my head. I'd love to see Nancy Healy's writing walls!!!

Like all of the previous instalments in both the Alex & Cassidy and By Design series I loved Fear. I particularly enjoyed the way that Nancy Ann Healy uses flashbacks to unveil more of the history of The Collaborative and some of the thought processes that influenced the choices made by previous generations but also insights into the way the main characters are drawn into the world of intelligence and politics.

No pressure, Nancy, but I really need the next instalment!

Worth reading every book.

These series are sooooooo good. Both Alex and Cassidy along with Candace and Jameson. They leave you engrossed in the characters and stories. I wonder if JA has any plans of creating another book within the series with Claire and Elena. Now we have to wait for the next books in the series. But worth every read.

The past, the present and the future

Whoa!! Loved this book and it starts to shine a light and how connecting the dots are showing. Amazing Author and writing yet again. Loves these books and will continue to re-read long after the series have finished (hoping the never do). Wish I could give it 10 stars 🌟

I'll be honest I don't read this series because the writing is groundbreaking or seismic. I read it because it's familiar and light. Though it is immensely repetitive but l ignore that because it's great escape from reality just like other books that I read but more so because it's mostly all sunshine and rainbows and I appreciate that. Anyway, I will still continue this series.

Good

Great to catch up with all the team and president again.
Took awhile to get back into the story but i found some chapters were too long.
Then get to the end and it says to be continued,dismayed at that after all the reading of this book.
