Amanda was certain her boyfriend, Carl, was going to propose to her at dinner. She would then be able to tell him the wedding date and time. She’d had her starlight wedding planned for years. Amanda’s life was going exactly to plan, until she accidently bumped into Daniel. Then everything started to go wrong. It was all his fault!

Starlight Wedding was a humorous, light romance read. Amanda was shallow and self obsessed but I couldn’t help liking her. She had a vulnerability about her like she was lost.

The storyline was very predictable but that’s not a bad thing. You think you know what’s going to happen next and when it does happen it’s like, yes! I knew that was going to happen.

With a whole host of likeable characters Starlight Wedding gave me a few chuckles.
I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a light romance read.

With thanks to First Reads and Frank Thomas for my copy to read and review.

This was such a sweet book. I couldn't help but root for Daniel right from the beginning. William is too good to be true of course. But I loved Amanda and experienced all her emotions right along with her.

This was such an up beat and sweet book. Great for a summer read by the pool.

What a sweet and upbeat story that had me smiling and fully immersed from the very first page. This is the first book that I have read by author Frank Thomas, and I must say I was truly impressed. I absolutely loved his story and his romantically creative writing style. I instantly fell in love with the main character Amanda as she seemed as familiar as a good friend. I totally felt for her and her race against time. I can remember having the same sort of thoughts when I was a little girl as well as when I was a teenager. I think this is something that most girls feel and experience about their future wedding day. Anyway, this book is extremely charming and a delightful read. I highly recommend that you put it on your summer reading list. 5 big stars!

I really enjoyed this two book series. It was a real page-turner, but it had some profanity.
