Books with titles that accurately reflect its contents, or else do what they say they will do, carry significant weight for me. SQL: QuickStart Guide does precisely what it claims to do, which is provide a simple overview of SQL. If you are brand-new to SQL, this book is helpful; and even if you're not, this book provides a very quick (59 pages, inclusive of separate one-page conclusion and glossary) overview or refresher. The book errs on the side of appealing to the rank beginner--which, to be fair, is what the title says.

"A Great Way To Learn or Get Started in SQL"
"SQL QuickStart Guide" is actually a great way to learn structured query language. This can be difficult and I would suggest the accompanying material that will be in your library as a PDF along with this audiobook and with this combination one should be able to get a good idea on how this works. It's specific programming language and honestly if someone's a quick learner they could possibly bypass a lengthy tutorial or college course.
Dave Wright's narration was impeccable. It was clear and easy to understand. He walks you through each step and there are enough different examples to where one can pick this up fairly easily. Nice job.

I received a copy of this audiobook free of charge in exchange for my honest feedback.
Overall, it was a VERY high level overview of SQL. This would be useful for non-IT professionals who are working on a database project or with database developers and want a quick insight into the basic concepts of SQL.
The included PDF was just OK; I may review it again later.
The narrator was not my favorite. As this was largely reference material it was a little dry already, I struggled to stay focuses as the reader was fairly monotone.
