Signing their names on the dotted line was just another Tuesday. Saying “I Do” proved to be the easy part. But when their wedding reception erupts into utter chaos, everything Kieran and Lowe thought they knew about their future is thrown into question.
Raven is a scorned woman on a mission, and Kieran and Marlowe have become her obsession.
Nobody tells you surviving trauma can be just as difficult as living through it. Forced to become equal parts CEO, Husband, and detective, Kieran races to uncover the truth before the woman hunting his family strikes again.
What happens when a decades-old grudge refuses to stay buried? When the sins of one generation become the burden of the next, love may not be enough… unless there’s a Knight willing to end it once and for all.
It wasn't a bad read, but I kept waiting for something to really pull me in the way the previous book did. It was nice seeing Kieran and Marlowe settle into married life, but with Raven still hanging around, I expected a little more tension and drama.
I was happy to see Kieran's dad make it through everything, but sir... some conversations should've happened a long time ago. Keeping secrets from your past has a way of showing back up at the worst possible time, and that's exactly what happened here.
Overall, I enjoyed catching up with these characters, but I wanted the story to dig a little deeper and keep me on the edge of my seat. If you loved the first book, you'll probably still want to see where everyone ends up—I just don't think this one hit quite the same for me.
I wanted Book 2 to pull everything together and make some of the issues I had with the first book make sense. Unfortunately, it really didn’t. Most of this book was Kieran and Lowe surrounded by security while Raven popped up doing increasingly unhinged things, and I kept waiting for the big reveal that would explain this decades old family grudge. When we finally got it I was underwhelmed.
We learn that Raven’s father, Zeke, helped build the foundation of the Knight family’s wealth and later asked Gerald for a million dollars. Gerald didn’t even refuse him; he said he needed time to move that kind of money. Somehow that became the foundation of a decades long vendetta that Reva eventually passed down to Raven. But here’s my biggest problem we never actually find out what happened to Zeke. His death is supposedly at the center of Reva’s hatred for the Knights, Kieran even questions her about what really happened that night…and then the book ends without answering it. How are we closing out the entire series without answering one of the biggest questions behind the conflict? Kieran and Lowe were still enjoyable together, but honestly, this entire story could have been one book. There was too much time spent stretching out Raven’s stalking and not enough time developing the history and motivations that actually mattered.

Raven was a mixed up soul. Being manipulated by her bitter conniving mother. Lowe and Kieran were always supposed tb together, but they realky diverted for awhile and took longer to get there. Loved Malachi and all the originals. Daddy should have been done told at least his wife Kira about his distorted past. In the end it all worked out. Sadly for Raven, she became part of a storyline which wasn't even told correctly, now she's forever going tb locked up! Great read!!!!
Love this book down Monique you did you thing again with the final part we got to see continue store of Marlowe and Kieran and I feel all of stuff happen and shit hit the fan . I really love how each of their father gave them advice to follow . I want to slap the hell out of Raven and her mother because mama why u lie and raise your daughter like that . I was amazing story to read 10/10 recommend you read.

Kieran and Lowe=match made in Heaven. Always been best friends, now husband and wife. Raven was fooled for sooo long. Came after the Knight men for nothing. I’m glad Kieran let her and her mom end the way he did. Let them live and see how he and his family flourish. Glad Gerald is okay! Lowe is just perfect for Kieran. Made him a better man and he helped her relax more and stop overworking. They were just meant to be!!!
I don’t care what anyone says Kieran didn’t led Raven on! He never said she was his girlfriend, it doesn’t matter if he bought her stuff or if they went out to eat together! No titles, he didn’t let you into an important meeting but you got a wedding dress? 🙄🤨 Anyway, I still love Kieran and Lowe still working my nerves 😂 because baby you’re married now, stop running!
