🥰

The premise of this book intrigued me. A hitman falling for his mark—yes please. Pearce and Vanya were thrown together in an unorthodox situation, but the attraction was there, and love soon came after. Vanya was scared, but she kept her head in a bad situation, and Pearce was a principled man, and I loved that he never cowered to his father or gave in to his demands. This was a cute little read.

Power Play

If you are looking for a book with explosive family drama and high-stakes tension, this is it! Pearce Langston is the ultimate independent hero, and watching him go toe-to-toe with his ruthless mogul father, Kalim Moore, is pure entertainment.Vanya’s storyline adds a gripping layer of suspense. When she goes all in on a dangerous blackmail scheme, the fallout is completely unexpected. It's a fast-paced, addictive read where everyone is playing for keeps. Only one man will be left standing, and you won't want to miss a single second of the chaos! Highly recommend!

A Hitta and a Midnight Ballerina

They came together in a crazy way, but I loved Pearce and Vanya together. Kalim is a piece of work. Not the typical father. I knew the reason Tasha left. I thought Pearce would’ve known too. Crazy how she just assumed she’d come back and everything would be the same. Glad it ended the way it did. Great read.

Chance Meetings Can Turn Out Well

Natisha Raynor, you always give us some good messy mess. The fact that this read turned into a cute love story for me. It's not always what happens but these characters took me to the rope and back. To mean harm on someone can put it back on you so be very careful with not taking accountability for whatever part you play. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

Quick read that I highly enjoyed.

For me, their chemistry was great but not amazing. I also think that was a consequence of the storyline- which I LOVED!

Again, I enjoyed them and the storyline it was great.

It is a storyline we've seen before in urban writing but I loved how the author put their unique voice and twists into the work for it to read differently.

Highly recommend read!

Natisha has done it again!

I absolutely loved Pearson and Vanya!!

I was a little worried that he was gonna go back to Tasha, but I’m so happy with the choice he made. He stood on business and followed his heart…
Even though his father was a villain, I love that his villain way led to such great love! Because at the end just is served🤭

Enjoyed

Pearce & Vanya, I didn't know if there would be a relationship, given Pearce father, but he was definitely his own man. Vanya had to deal with life changes, but she handled her situation in a mature way. Unfortunately, family can sometimes place you in unpredictable situations.
In the end, Pearce and Vanya were meant to be together!

Unlikely love connection!

This short, well written story was quite interesting. Pearce was hired by his dad, Kallam, to kill one of his strippers. After finding out that Kallam forced his girlfriend to skip town, Pearce decided to protect Vanya instead of killing her. I enjoyed reading about their love affair and seeing how it stressed Kallam. Good read!

Hear me out!

I don’t blame Tasha! There, I said it!! 🤣 Anyways, this was a short story about wrong place, right time! Tanya was tough- I would have folded for sure. I’m happy everything worked out! Good book!

What a man!!!!

Yeah, I absolutely loved it!!! Tasha messed up when she left that one!!!! I know his dad was intimidating, but to leave for months and not try to contact her man at all. She had to know he would be moving on. Life shows up quick sometimes!!!

I gave this book five stars ⭐️ because the storyline was well written and the characters are very relatable. There are some really sad scenes in the book but I love Pearce and Vanya love story. I most definitely would recommend readers to read this book .

Nice Quickie

This was a cute, quick read. I liked Pearce and Van. That dang Kalim was something else. I’m glad Pearce was is own man & wasn’t a pushover when it came to his father. Tasha you should have said something girl🙄 I’m happy how it ended.

I did love the concept

I loved it I just wish that it was longer. Everything just felt rushed and that is not like Natisha Raynor to rush a book.

loved this so much

This was such a good read! I really enjoyed this book! I was hot at Tasha at the end but I’m so glad Pearce figured it out and made his way back to Vanya!

Money, Money Money

All money isn't good money. Greed for money will have you doing foolish things, until you deal with the wrong person.

We love an urban romance with plenty of family drama! This one had me like, WTF and it moved fast.

Delivered in under 300 pages, and baby, it was a good messy-ass time from beginning to end. A hit turns into a cute little romance, and somehow all the drama makes it even better! 😂

Quick, messy, entertaining, and just the kind of urban romance I wanted.

Vanya and Pearce were brought together in the craziest way, but the attraction was there for them both. Pearce and his father's relationship was pretty much nonexistence. Vanya and her bright ideas led her to the love of her life. Kalim was straight trash. Tasha messed up big time and I'm glad he did not choose her.
