Alexia Berkeley is a strong, powerful and independent woman who doesn’t need a man for anything. Well – other than a little light relief here and there, of course.
Sebastian Love has always flirted with her but other than the fine, professional businessman he manages to be when necessary, she knows what he’s like socially; a perverse, lecherous roué with nothing on his mind but female genitalia. Nothing could be further from her ‘type’, than him.
Could Alexia Berkeley have gotten Sebastian Love all wrong? She definitely seems to think so after a drink or two whilst letting her hair down with the girls, and his delicious, tattoo covered body certainly takes her into a new realm of naughtiness and desire. Will she abandon her rigid beliefs of decorum and correctness for a lasciviously thrilling lifestyle or will her life-long morals overrule?
I'm disappointed by the storyline...although it had its moments, I really thought the story was boring and ending was flat...I wanted to say "that's it?....that how it ends???? I was really looking forward to an exciting story...but it left me in a really bad mood...I didn't feel any justice for Sebastian and I felt that Alexia's character was slighted..she deserved a better story...
So glad that Lexie got her HEA. It was nice catching up with the crew. Couldn't give it 5 stars because I feel like it was a bit drawn out during some parts. Sebastian absolutely needs to learn to stand up his mother. He better be glad that Lex is understanding. Nice read overall though.
It took me forever to read this book in the series. I loved all the other stories in the series, but this one bored me to death. I didn't find him attractive at all and I had to make myself finish.
This was a good book. But somehow the story seemed a bit too long. It was not my favorite of the series but it was good. I liked the epilogue about Bea and Daniel but wanted more about the main characters as well.
It's very funny. This book stayed true to the other books in this series. It will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You want books from the series just to find out if they stay as crazy and adventurous as in the other books.
I enjoyed the Sexy series, but this book didn't do it for me. I skimmed the book after leaving it over a month. I am happy for Alexia and Sebastian, but this was the most boring book of the series.
Firstly, I want to start by saying that this book was a fantastic finale to the Sexy Series of books by Dani Lovell.
The characters that the author created for this story were just fabulous. We had heard about Alexia in the others stories, but her personality did not come through until her own story. In her everyday business life she comes across as sharp, stylish and in control of her organised life. That is until Sebastian Love comes into her life. Alexia has known Seb for a while, but thinks he is a sweet talker who wants to get the girl and get her into bed. The last thing that Alexia wants is him.
Sebastian cannot get enough of Alexia, calling her Sexy Lexi. It's as if Seb can see through her professional persona and wants the 'true' girl to come out and have fun. Occasionally she does, but only after copious amounts of alcohol.
The characters from the other series (Tilly, Luke, Bea, Daniel, Clare and Oliver) make an appearance towards the end of the book.
I wouldn't say that Sebastian and Alexia's story is a roller-coaster ride, but it does have it's moments which are dealt with in a very meaningful and heart-felt way. A no-messing love story with lots of hot action thrown in for good measure.
"You know I like a view baby, but god damn ... I think this is my favourite yet."
The last novel in the Sexy Series and revolves around the love story of Alexa (sister of Daniel/Sexy Berkeley) & tough guy Sebastian.
Alexa is a strong willed, independent & intelligent woman. Sebastian is your typical tough, playboy that gets what he wants. Two opposites that when combined are combustible.
The author entwined their story so well that it felt as though I was living vicariously through these 2 characters. The author has a way of describing her characters & telling their story that will draw you in immediately.
It is very difficult for a reader to say goodbye to much loved characters. The author found a way for us to do so by encompassing all of the characters from the previous novels into Sexy Love. There is no greater gift to the readers than to have an author provide us with a story that is so complete you feel the love in your heart & soul.
I love this story & series so much that I intend to read it again. It will always have a place in my collection. Thank you Dani. Thank you.
I liked the first 2 novels of this series better... Maybe I just got older. I thoroughly enjoyed the heated up parts of all of the novels... The detailed description leaves nothing to the imagination which is amazing.
I think sometimes it was cutting it easy in some parts of the story, skipping some parts for virtually no reason... and it justifies every action and thought too much which makes it predictable and exhausting to continue sometimes... And let's face it: it's difficult enough to get to know ONE or a couple of guys that perfect in a lifetime... But 4!!!!! Seriously?! I know the Sebastian thing was trying to land the story a little bit, but still.
I'll definitely use some of the bedroom material and I'll even recommend it forward as I have done before, but with the "overly-cheesy-material-and-not-so-real" warning.
I have mixed feelings with this book I have read the other three and loved them. I feel like she fell flat on the writing of Alexia and Sebastian after the wild ride roof Clare and Oliver. Liked that in the end it gave an over all on all the girls and their lives now. I could put this book down and walk away for a few days ended up skimming the last few chapters. Was looking forward to the book wish I didn't pay so much for it
The perfect ending to this series. I love Seb, he is so cheeky and a good match to Alexia's strong personality. And you also get to read more about the other characters in the previous books. Jason Mraz's I'm Yours is the perfect song for Bea and Daniel I am so chuffed because it's one of my favourite songs too. Love love love this series. Thank you Dani!
3.5 stars.... this book had its high and low moments for me. I was happy for Alexia and Sebastian though. I think they compliment each other quite well. Was also happy to catch up with the gang of friends from the previous series and see where their lives have taken them. Loved the ending also.
After reading the previous three books in this series (which I very much enjoyed) I was quite disappointed with this one. I just couldn't get into it. Yes, it was funny and flowing great and I enjoyed watching Alexia letting go a bit and enjoying herself but it wasn't as good as the previous stories.
this story was interesting between Sebastian and alexia it was a love story that was different then the others their love had to grow on each other it wasn't love at first sight. I understood why both parties had their guard up but I am glad that it work out in the end. great read and a awesome ending to a great series. Two thumbs up!!!!!!
I have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of these books - the characters are real, funny, and complex. Having them be from across the pond is just a glimpse into what life over there in London is like. I've been so that helped for me. Their sense of humor and words are great. These characters are so wonderful and make a wonderful family of friends.
3.5 Stars - I have loved this series. I liked this book... but I certainly didn't love it. It lacked the drama that was Clare and Oliver's book, the sexiness and angst of Fully and Luke's and the absolute romantic story that was Dan and Bea' s story. I suppose it just fell flat. I still do however love this series, and I am sad to say goodbye to this trans Atlantic group of friends.
Didn't mind that the ending wasn't about them per say however felt like something more should have come from the reason why Seb did what he did. Felt like something was missing, just my opinion though otherwise loved it!!!
There are no words to describe how I'm feeling finishing the final in the Sexy Series. Another wonderfully exciting installment of Author Dani Lovell's amazing writing that has taken us through the lives of our favorite characters and stories.
Sebastian made it hot, Tilly brought laughter, other than that this last book was no way as good as the others. Not sure what it was that made this book boring at times, there were just too many words to get to the end point and say the same thing, less is more as they say!
It's amazing just as the other three books are! Sad it has to end!!! Today happens to be Valentine's Day & as I was reading towards the end of the book, my now fiancee came & proposed to me!
