Bossing My Holiday: A Holiday Spice Standalone

Rate this book
Things not on my Christmas wish list? Fake dating my billionaire Scrooge of a boss, Tristan Ouest.

But that's exactly what I'm doing and why I'm on a plane heading to Paris with him and my other boss, co-CEO Braxton Hicks.

According to Braxton, this is the perfect arrangement. I act as the doting girlfriend to get Tristan's matchmaking, old-money family off his back and he pays off the large debt I have from caring for my grandmother.

Except Braxton has other things in mind with this trip… like sharing me with Tristan.

And the things they want to do to me put them straight on the naughty list.

I should say no to all of this. After all, I need my job and sleeping with both of my bosses is a recipe for disaster. Especially when things start to get messy and complicated.

But they don't just want me as a holiday treat. They want more.

Now they're bossing my holiday. And before I know it, I'm in way over my head—falling for my grumpy fake boyfriend and his sinful best friend.

Bossing My Holiday is a standalone holiday, fake relationship, forced proximity in Paris, spicy workplace MFM romance with a swoony why-choose style HEA! It's delicious holiday fun for anyone who likes being on Santa's naughty list—and for anyone who dreams of two men worshiping them at once.

🎄 A fake relationship, two bosses, and a holiday trip to Paris that gets considerably more complicated than planned.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Spice-meter: 🌶️🌶️☆☆☆☆ (2/5)
Audiobook: 🎧 Duet narration
Series: Standalone
HEA: Yes

Bossing My Holiday was such a fun, easy holiday romance. It’s a quick read with a light tone, plenty of chemistry, and just enough drama to keep things moving without making the story feel heavy.

The dynamic between the three characters was easily my favorite part. The banter was great, especially between the two guys, and I loved how much they teased each other. Their relationship felt playful and natural, while still leaving room for some genuinely sweet moments.

The pacing worked really well for this type of story. It moves quickly, doesn't get bogged down in unnecessary details, and keeps the romance at the center. There’s a nice balance between the fun holiday atmosphere, emotional moments, and spice.

I also really enjoyed J. Saman's take on an MFM romance. The relationship between all three characters feels important rather than simply putting the FMC between two men, which made the romance much more satisfying for me.

🎧 Narration

Narrated by Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma, and Bryant Walker, and they did a fantastic job.

The three voices worked really well together, making it easy to follow the different characters while also bringing plenty of personality to their interactions. The playful banter and chemistry translated especially well to audio.

✔️ Workplace Romance

Final Thoughts

Bossing My Holiday is a fun, steamy, low-stress holiday romance that was exactly what I needed. The pacing is quick, the characters have great chemistry, and there is enough heart underneath all the flirting and heat to make the romance feel worthwhile.

If you're looking for something light and entertaining with fake dating, workplace tension, two men, holiday vibes, and a Paris setting, this is a great choice for a quick festive read.

Definitely recommend it when you want something spicy and fun without signing up for an emotional rollercoaster.

📖 Bossing My Holiday by J. Saman

If a MFM holiday romance is on your wishlist this season, J. Saman would be the one to deliver it... and she did! This was such a fun, fast-paced, spicy listen with just enough cheer to fit perfectly on your holiday reading list.

Tristan's family is done with the new life he has built in America as a co-CEO of a business with his best friend, Braxton Hicks (yes, his mom is an OBGYN). They tell him that when he comes home to Paris for the holidays, they are going to set him up with a suitable woman and it is time for him to get married to extend the family name. Tristan and Braxton decide the only way to avoid the setups is to say that he is already in a committed relationship...with the gorgeous assistant that they have both been crushing on for years.

The dynamics between the characters was so much fun. I enjoyed that they each had such distinct personalities while still having so much chemistry with each other. I also enjoyed how much emphasis was put on the emotional connections within the MFM relationship. It made the romance so easy to root for.

Overall it felt like such a balanced read- there was the perfect amount of storyline, drama, spice, banter, and romance to keep me entertained while still making the experience feel light. Definitely add this to your holiday reading list!

This audio was so much fun! It was narrated by Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma, and Bryant Walker. I love that each character got a distinct voice. It made it easier to connect with each character separately and it really brought the banter (and other things) to life when they were all together.

BOSSING MY HOLIDAY by J. SAMAN was a reread for me, only this time I listened to the audiobook... and WOW, these three brought the book to life in a way that honestly made it even better than reading it.

It was easier to connect to the characters, and I loved the resolution these characters came up with and how they developed their relationship with each other to reach the right balance for them. Definitely a book that will spice up your holiday 🔥🎄

This packed some heat, so I would say: only read if you are ready to be on Santa's naughty list! The dynamic and tension between these characters was my favourite thing in the story. They have great banter with each other. Since it's only a short story it didn't have a lot of plot. I feel like it was focused on the characters finding a way to discover and establish a relationship between the three of them (MFM). It is a quick read with fun holiday vibes, not too heavy, keeps you reading and packs a lot of heat.

The ‘Ber months are here and it’s time to clear your TBR for all the holiday romance starting with Bossing My Holiday. Get your ears ready for all the holiday spice and everything oh so nice! Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma & Bryant Walker were phenomenal. Absolutely brilliant performances. That French accent was chef’s kiss!

All the swoon and steam ahead that your heart desires. If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like to be worshiped by two men who would burn the world for you listen now!

Waverly, Tristan and Braxton had me up all night and I'd gladly do it again and again. I loved their dynamic and how different both of the guys were with her. Braxton was such a golden retriever, and Tristan was the alpha hole you can't help but love. The three of them together were hot! hot! hot! I adored how fierce Waverly was in and out of the boardroom, but how she melted into a puddle for her men. The way they took care of our girl...5 alarm fire!

I loved the Christmas in Paris setting and the magic of the holiday season while these three navigate their relationship and HEA. The ending was everything I wanted for them and more!

What happens when you fall for both of them?

J. Saman brings us a holiday novel that you want under your Christmas Tree!

Waverly is stuck between her two bosses, Tristan Ouest and Braxton Hicks. One grumpy, broody, and snarky. The other optimistic, funny, and full of sunshine. When Tristan has a last minute request, Waverly could not have predicted the outcome.

If you love heat, undeniable attraction, and chemistry that lights up the pages, Bossing My Holiday is exactly what you’re looking for. I’m still thinking about these three days later and want to run this back already.

Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma, and Bryant Walker voice these characters to perfection. They made it impossible to want to stop listening as Waverly explores her true feelings for Tristan and Braxton. Tristan and Braxton’s background and commitments weave into this one and bring a complicated mix of emotions. The narrators made you feel each one as they explore what love can look like for them.

It’s time to grab this holiday romance and find out what Bossing My Holiday really means.

Format: Audiobook - Dual narration by Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma, and Bryant Walker
Page/Time: 7 hr 56 min
Series / Standalone: Interconnected Standalone (Holiday Spice, Book 1)
Tropes: MFM, Billionaire, Workplace, Fake Dating

Thanks to Valentine PR, Podium Audio and the author for this gifted audiobook - all opinions are my own

Braxon, Tristan and Waverly

📚Poly romances are some of my favorites and this one was done so well. The balance between the three main characters was perfect and it allowed for a smooth transition for Waverly. The fake dating and workplace tropes added an additional layer of angst and made it so much more fun as the layers of the story started to unfold. And who doesn’t love a Christmas story in the summertime?!?

🎧 I was thoroughly impressed with each of these narrators and the way they handled the dual style narration. The different personalities, genders and accents were done so well. I really couldn’t pick a favorite out of these three. It was easy to get lost in this story and it was a straight through listen for me.

Bossing my Holiday was the first book by J. Saman, saw why choose and said yes please and signed up for the ALC! This was a fun, easy, quick holiday romance. The book was light, flirty, but had plenty of chemistry with a touch of drama to keep you reading.

The banter between Tristan, Braxton and Waverly was my favorite part. I loved the way Waverly didn't back down to Tristan's grumpiness and put him in his place. I loved the different bonds and connections Waverly has with the guys and the connection and bond the guys have towards each other.

I really enjoyed the way J. Saman wrote the MFM relationship, each member was important and had a special bond with each of the other two. They fit together perfectly. Their relationship wasn't all physical. I loved the emotional connections they had and weren't afraid to show!

It was narrated by Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma and Bryant Walker. The three of them did a great job voicing their characters and bringing them to life.

Tristan and Braxton have shared women before and now they are going to share an assistant too. Then they have the idea to have Waverly, their assistant, pretend to be Tristan’s girlfriend for the holidays so his parents will stop trying to set him up. Sparks fly with Braxton first, but soon Tristan is brought in too. The emotions were surprisingly high for a spicy novella. And the spicy scenes were so good. Charlotte Claremont, Iggy Toma, and Bryant Walker were the perfect casting choices for this book. Thank you to J. Saman and Valentine PR for the alc.

This was my first "why choose" romance and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I do love this author, so I was willing to take a chance, and I am glad that I did. The book is a fun combination of fake dating, experimentation, family pressure, and learning that love comes in many different forms.

I listened to the audiobook, and the narration was great. The voice actors really brought Tristan, Braxton, and Waverly to life, adding to the love and difficult choices between the characters.

Bossing my Holiday is a fun fake dating, why choose, workplace, holiday in Paris. It was brimming with emotion, steam, swoon, and butterflies floating around because *happy sigh* their connection is incredible. From start to finish this book kept me alternating between swooning and fanning myself.
Charlotte Clairemont, Iggy Toma, & Bryant Walker bring so much life and emotion to Waverly, Tristan & Braxton, making their story even more immersive and impossible to put down.

I almost DNF'd this book but realized I was at 75% complete. Bossing my Holiday was not my cup of tea. I didn't hate it, I just didn't really like it either. The female narrator was good but I did not care for the male performances. Even though the men were yearning for her for two years, it felt a bit like "insta-love." The spice was good but I though the plot was weak.
