This book is confusing. It is set in what seems to be before modern times, sort of like Shamalans The Village. But there is a van (?) . The conjoined twins are joined at the sternum yet one can sit while the other stands ??

Absolutely not. Passages repeat, so many things don't make any sense, the choreography is confusing as hell, action stops for endless descriptions, which repeat themselves nonstop, and many many phrases feel like AI (it's not X, it's Y and abstract, unrelatable similies).

I don’t understand why this book received such low ratings. It was SO. WEIRD. And I genuinely was invested in the main characters plight. Good, quick, WILD ride.

I’m not even sure what I just read. The book is so confusing. It contradicts itself and repeats itself over and over. I almost didn’t finish it.
