This was a great fiona davenport book with a possessive biker that is a computer genius and the sheriff’s daughter. You have possessiveness and action all in one.
This has cipher meeting rebecca or bex at the MC presidents wedding. He is instantly attracted to her and knows she’s his but because she’s the sheriffs daughter and his president’s wife’s bestie he decides to stay away from her. Until 3 weeks later as she’s working at the 911 call center her call log was messed with. As the call she had and logged for a woman who’s ex was breaking in was erased and the officer was routed to go somewhere else. Of course she calls her dad and he helps save the woman. Then they call in a cyber company to check out what was causing this issue.
This leads to cipher working with her and he keeps it professional until he figures out the bad guys were looking up bex’s location. He goes into protective mode and moves her in with him, for safety of course. He’s already admitted defeat to their attraction and they slowly start their relationship.
With ciphers hacking skills and the MC behind the couple, plus the sheriffs department they are able to figure out the people that stealing victim’s information and giving to criminals for money. They also allow bex to help a little.
Now I only had one issue, being it feels like fiona is changing her writing style a little. Which is not bad but it went from boom instant love and your mine at first sight. To oh I feel this pull to this woman that she’s mine but i’m going to fight it for a little but I’m definitely attracted to her. Like in this one I wasn’t a huge fan of him instantly have a connection to her but because her father is a sheriff I can’t date her. Like what’s her father’s occupation have to do with her as a person. He turned her down to dance and I loved how he was jealous of her dancing with someone else but then he has no problem staying away from her for 3 weeks and when he does see her again he still feels the connection but is able to act professionally and keeps his distance until she’s in danger. I know no one asked for my opinion but I would of loved if we could of seen him watching her for those 3 weeks or something like that, or even if she tried to go on a date with someone else and he got jealous or the next time she rejects him for a second. Something to show he yearned for her those 3 weeks.
But overall, I still loved the book and will continue to read fiona davenport as always. It has a great biker with nipple rings and a tough female that can take care of yourself but lets him take care of her now.

I am LOVING this new series! These men are lethal, protective, super smart and treat their women like equals and not something to be shielded. This plotline was something I hadn't read before, so the in's and out's of it were fascinating to me as well as scary with what technology can do. Cipher aka Corbin knew computers inside and out and found machines easier to understand than people, but he was OTT protective when it came to Bex. It did take him 3 weeks of avoiding her and a crisis that made his protective instincts go into overdrive to force him to claim her, but once he did there was no going back. Bex was so sweet and I loved how she got through to people who needed her on the job as a dispatcher. She was willing to put herself on the line in order to save those that needed it and it was really admirable how she did it. I said it for the first book and I'm saying it again, I love sheriff Raines and his relationship with the men of the Black Crowns. The fact he was Bex's father should have made it complicated, but it actually became a huge plus and she was surrounded by men that loved and cared for her instead of being pulled in two directions. A lot of MC books have the men "shielding" the women from the darker aspects or from things they don't think they need to know, but not the men of the Black Crowns. I think that's why I'm loving these men so much, their women are equals and they never hide anything from them that they need to know, especially when it has to do with whatever situation their in. This was sweet, super steamy, suspenseful, smart and all the feels, I loved it! No cheating or OM/OW drama, age gap, no third act breakup, no one touches her once he swoops in, dual POV, HEA and 2 epilogues in the future. We got a little scene for Ghost's book and now I cannot wait to see the "fireworks" between him and Tamsin!

One of the many things I love about this series is the intrigue and dangerous, suspenseful aspects of the storyline.
This one kept me on the edge of my seat!
Bex is certainly smitten with Cipher, the Director of Information Security and Secure Logistics for Black Castle Security - the club's cyber protection business.
When strange things begin disappearing from her work computer, Cipher is hired to uncover the reason.
Being around Bex without tossing her over his shoulder and claiming her (which we all know these guys love to do!) is almost an impossible task! Their steamy chemistry and sizzling attraction keeps the pages flipping, for sure.
He has a filthy mouth and she is here for it... and so am I. *wink*
I always appreciate this MC's banter and found family loyalties between these brothers. The conspiracy behind the dangers was very addictive and entertaining.
I appreciated how supportive Cipher was of Bex, and I enjoyed their HEA journey. Read in order for the best experience.

Cipher is book 2 in the Black Crowns MC series and this one features Corbin "Cipher" Ralston and Rebecca "Bex" Raines. As a 911 Dispatcher myself, I was all over this book and I loved it!!
Cipher first meets Bex and the wedding of his Prez Stryker and her best friend Jacqueline. He absolutely falls for her but also tries to convince himself of all the reasons she should be off limits to him. That lasts all of about 3 weeks, which as we know is basically a lifetime for our MC men!
I loved the plot for this one and I was so invested in figuring out who dun it. Cipher and Bex working together was one of my favorite parts of the book. I could see the way she thought things through and even Cipher was impressed. Cipher was all caveman, alpha protector when someone poses a threat to Bex. The man stopped at literally nothing to make sure Bex was secure and safe at all times.
I am loving this series so far and can't for Ghost's book next!!!

I eat this up! I love an mmc that is both protective and techie. It only took Cipher three weeks to fall off the wagon and decide he couldn’t stay away from Bex. Then she is threatened and Cave man mood activated and every protective instinct this man had came out to play. Quick read and I love the mix of security/protection and MC club for this series.

The story follows a classic "trying to avoid the president’s old lady’s best friend" dynamic, which naturally fails. Once danger enters the picture, the protective instincts kick in, leading to that satisfying realization that she was his all along.
It’s a fast-paced read you can easily finish in one sitting, offering a good balance of suspense, drama, and solid heat without going over the top. Overall, a decent, entertaining read for romantic suspense fans.

I was looking forward to this since Jack and Strykers wedding 😂 and it did not disappoint! 😩
Something about a man that tries staying away from the woman he knows he’ll never be able to leave, gets me every time 🤭 and Cipher was no different. He is absolutely obsessed with Bex. 😂

Cipher, aka Corbin, & Bex are fun! She's a 911 dispatcher who notices something hinky happening after a call. Her dad's the sheriff. Her best friend's now married to the BC President. Of course she's caught the eye of their tech guy! 😁💚😁
For his part, Corbin knows right away Bex is special. He spends some time trying to resist the pull, but ... She's his & he's hers & there's no stopping fate. Muhahaha!
I love them together, the way she doesn't back down when something is important to her, the way they both communicate, & the way he responds to her in general. Mwha!!

Oh boy, As always, Fiona gives us another amazing story between Cipher and Bex. Lots of action, thrills, suspense, banter, and spice. Cipher tries really hard to keep his distance but when shit starts to happen, he goes from 0 to 100 right quick. Bex is knowledgeable and capable as the sheriff's daughter and can hold her own, but is also intelligent enough to realize that sometimes protection comes in levels that to some people could be overbearing but from Cipher has a real reason to be there. She holds her own against him and he holds his own only when he sees no other way but always understands where she's coming from and does his best to keep that in mind. These two were super cute together and the story was awesome.
Oh boy, As always, Fiona gives us another amazing story between Cipher and Bex. Lots of action, thrills, suspense, banter, and spice. Cipher tries really hard to keep his distance but when shit starts to happen, he goes from 0 to 100 right quick. Cipher is the Black Crowns MC computer specialist and works for Black Castle too. On his MC brothers wedding he runs into Bex and instantly knows she will be his. But three things make it hard: 1) she is the sheriffs daughter 2) he doesn't need distractions and 3)she is the sheriffs daughter. 😂 Well Bex saw him and fell instantly too, but her heart broke when he ignored her for the next three weels. Everything changes when Bex gets threatened, after finding out someone manipulated the towns CAD system. Now Cipher finally gives up and claims his woman and brings down whoever is after Bex and their towns safety.

Why oh why has Fiona Davenport decided that filling the story with so much technical detail that it leaves the reader dazed and confused, a good idea?
If I wanted an IT lesson, I’d have picked up a textbook.
Don’t get me wrong, a little extra information adds to the story, but more often than not we were left reading about processors and cpu’s and programs and the programming of those programs, data bits and charging points and all sorts of what nots, that I have zero interest in, mind you.
The book ended up being way too long, way too uninteresting with a side serving of Bex and Cipher.
And the biggest disappointment, here, is that because Bex and Cipher were lost in translation, they had zero chemistry, so even the sexy times felt a bit like insert part A into Slot B
Meh!

This is book 2 in a MC lite series called Black Crowns MC. Cipher "Corbin" is the computer intelligence for the MC. Bex is the sheriff's daughter and the one he is determined to stay away from. I enjoyed Bex's character. She was intelligent, kind, and brave figuring out something was wrong in the dispatch system. Cipher was OTT when it came to Bex and I love that in Fiona Davenport's MMC. The brotherhood in Black Crowns MC is top notch. I always love the sneak peak of the next character in the series at the end of the story. Can't wait for the other bikers to meet their women. Great series so far.

I loved Bex and Cipher together! These two were sweet yet steamy! These two first meet at Stryker’s and Cipher can’t help but fall for Bex; but he fights his feelings. When Bex needs help, Cipher is there. With working together Bex and Cipher can’t help their feelings from growing into something more. I loved the drama, action, suspense, banter, love, steam and HEA that these two get and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the series has in store for us.

I am so loving this new series! Cipher tried to resist Bex but when danger threatens she is his to protect. The whole suspenseful plotline kept the pages flipping. I loved how Cipher respected Bex’s strengths and abilities. The chemistry was sizzling, his possessiveness was perfect and her sass made it wonderful. As always, the BCMC men stood together to take down evil and provided the humor to balance the intensity. I received a complimentary review copy, my opinions are my own and given voluntarily. Cipher tries so hard to resist Bex, but once they finally give in to their feelings, things get hot!
I also loved how protective Cipher becomes of her while they work together to uncover what’s really happening.
This was such a fun, spicy, and heartwarming read. I’m really loving the Black Crowns MC series and can’t wait to see what’s next for the other brothers!

Cipher and Bex are everything! I loved these two. From her boldness to his futile resistance to the sparks when it all came together. I said it before and I'll say it again, I love the way Fiona Davenport writes a FMC in a motorcycle romance. Bex was not a damsel to be rescued, but was every bit Cipher's... Corbin 🫠... match. These two could go toe to toe all night and it would be a sight. Speaking of, I cannot wait for Ghost's book. The chemistry is already jumping off the page.

Great Story
Cipher and Bex are terrific together. He’s really into her but does his best to ignore her and stay away. Bex understands his actions though she doesn’t give up. When Bex becomes the target, he finally admits the reality to himself and goes full steam ahead to protect her. Her father isn’t happy but accepts that no one will protect her as well as Cipher. There is enough suspense to keep you reading and trying to figure out the ending. A must read.

Bex is excellent at her job and thanks to her, a conspiracy is revealed. I loved how Cipher was all in once he realized that distance did not dampened his feelings for her.
His technical brilliance and protective side was so attractive, and there’s no way you can resist him. I also enjoyed seeing the continued close friendship between Bex and Jacqueline.

I always love a good mc book with the "hacker" 😉 iykyk. Anyways, loved getting Cipher and Bex's story. These alpha men do not disappoint (although Cipher had me a little mad at the beginning and I wish Bex would have made him pay for it a bit!) Bex noticed someone in the dispatch system and called her dad... the sheriff. Now I cannot wait for the next!!

Such a sweet read that started a bit differently than a normal Fiona Davenport book. While Cipher knows that Bex is his, he actually tries to fight it!
I loved the relationship between these two. Cipher listens to Bex and trusts her to do her job. They are so sweet and so perfect together.

I really liked this book. Cipher stayed away from Bex for his reasons. But he was there for her when she needed him and finally decided that she was worth everything.
I normally do not like when they like each other but one of them is fighting their feelings. However this book doesn't make it drag and it adds to the story.

This story of Cipher/Corbin and Bex has real-world ramifications and repercussions for those affected by those who exploited their jobs in and around law enforcement for financial gain rather than serving and protecting. The Black Crowns MC's computer specialist and a 911 operator had a sizzling story as well, so it was the best of both worlds! Fantastic characters and a fantastic read!
