The Beckett Brothers #6

Reclaim Me: A Hot, Forbidden, Billionaire Romance

Rate this book
Zara

I never asked for his name. And I certainly didn’t tell him mine. It was supposed to be simple. No strings attached. Except I came home with a plus one… in my stomach. Worse again? Turns out my American fling is the ruthless billionaire trying to bulldoze a casino through my family’s empire. The one who just hired me—unknowingly—to design it. When he sees my bump, he stakes his claim. I swore I’d raise my baby alone. But the chemistry that wrecked me once is ready to ruin me all over again. And now, I have to choose my old family, or my new one. Because he's determined to reclaim me...

Cole

She was supposed to be a fling—Not my future. But when Zara Beckett struts into my office with my child in her stomach, I will burn the world down to build a life with her. Her brothers would rather bury me than see me touch her again. Too bad. Because I don’t back down. Not in business. Not in life. And certainly not when it comes to the mother of my child. Zara Beckett is mine. Even if I have to kill for that privilege...

I’m honestly so sad this series is ending. Every single book has been perfection.

Zara is the youngest and only girl of the Beckett family, and I loved finally getting her story. She meets Cole while on holiday in the Dominican Republic, and the pull between them is undeniable from the start. She makes him chase her a bit, but gives in pretty quickly. She wants no names, no personal details. She just wants to be someone other than the baby sister of the Becketts. Cole agrees since he’s used to people only wanting him for being a ridiculously handsome billionaire.

They have this amazing, intense holiday together until it’s time to say goodbye, and she sneaks out without a word.

What makes it even better is that Zara has already agreed to design the interior of Cole’s new hotel in Dublin… but they have no idea what each other actually looks like. On top of that, her brothers hate him and have a grudge against him, especially since he’s building right across from their hotel.

Months go by, and they’re both craving each other, and then the pregnancy twist. I did not see that coming.

When Zara tells her brothers she’s pregnant and doesn’t know who the father is, the chaos. 😳

Their meeting for the hotel project keeps getting pushed, and by the time they finally come face to face, she walks into his office pregnant. He immediately knows she has to be his.

I loved Cole so much. He was all in, no hesitation. So swoony, so protective, and completely focused on Zara and the baby.

I hated how her brothers cut her off when they found out the truth. That hurt. But Cole handled everything so well and really showed up for her when it mattered.

And that ending… wow. Everything wrapped up perfectly, and Cole was the ultimate hero.

I received this ALC from Blue Nose Audio and I want to thank them for it. This audiobook was narrated in duet by Lucy Rivers & Aiden Snow. This was spectacular, I mean top-notch narration. I mean, the narration was so good. You would never know that Aiden wasn’t Irish - phenomenal! Lucy has been one of my favorite female narrators for some time.

When a holiday fling turns into a Montague/Capulet style feud? You have the 6th book in The Beckett Brothers series.

This book follows Zara Beckett, the youngest and only girl in the Beckett family. Zara is on her way to prove that she can be the most successful of the Beckett clan, with her interior design business – but she needs a vacay and the Dominican Republic is just what the designer ordered. She meets a nice Yank, and they decided on a 10-day holiday fling with all the s3x they can have with no strings attached AND also no names – at all – just “Ireland” and “California”.

Little does Zara know that nice Yank is none other than Cole Hartmann. The Hotelier and the man that has tried to get her to design his new Irish hotel; but also, the Montague to Zara’s Capulet. Her brothers will not be too fond of “California” being in the same hotel as their sister, let alone in her bed.

Their 10-day holiday fling comes to an end, but their feelings don’t – yet neither of them decide to go against their “no name” pact, even though they both want to. When Zara returns to Ireland, she doesn’t return alone.

This book is just what I wanted for Zara’s book. It hit all of the feels for me. The banter had me giggling, the spice had me wishing I wasn’t reading it in the daytime without my husBANG, and let’s just say "To holiday flings and carnal things." You need to pick this audiobook up when it comes out on 📅 July 29th.

This one was such a good read! I always enjoy anything with the Beckett family, and this story definitely delivered.

It starts with two strangers having a no-strings holiday fling. No names, no expectations… just a moment in time. But of course, it doesn’t stay that simple. Weeks later, they’re both still thinking about each other, completely unable to move on, and you just know it’s going to come crashing back together.

And when it does? Let’s just say the tension is chef’s kiss especially when he turns out to be the enemy of her brother. The drama, the chemistry, the pining… all so good.

If you love a mix of secret connections, unresolved longing, and a little forbidden romance, this one is definitely worth the read.

L.A. Gallagher delivers another emotionally charged addition to the Beckett Brothers series with Reclaim Me, a romance that perfectly balances sizzling chemistry, family conflict, and heartfelt character development. As the sixth installment, this story finally shines the spotlight on Zara Beckett, the youngest sibling and the only daughter in the Beckett family, giving her a journey that feels every bit as compelling as her brothers'.

Zara has worked tirelessly to establish herself as a respected interior designer rather than simply living in the shadow of the Beckett name. Needing a break from work and family expectations, she heads to the Dominican Republic, determined to enjoy a carefree holiday. There she meets an irresistible American stranger, Cole Hartmann. Agreeing to keep things uncomplicated, they spend ten unforgettable days together using only the nicknames "Irish" and "California," choosing passion over personal details and convincing themselves their connection will end when the vacation does.

Of course, life has other plans.

Back in Ireland, Zara quickly discovers that "California" is actually Cole Hartmann, the billionaire hotel owner who has been pursuing her professionally to design his latest Irish hotel. Even worse, Cole belongs to a family locked in a bitter rivalry with the Becketts, making their relationship feel like a modern-day Romeo and Juliet story. Suddenly, what started as a no-strings holiday romance becomes tangled in family loyalties, business ambitions, and feelings neither of them expected to carry home.

I loved how Gallagher allowed the romance to develop beyond physical attraction. The chemistry between Zara and Cole is undeniable from the start, but their emotional connection is what ultimately drives the story. Zara is determined, ambitious, and eager to prove she can succeed on her own terms, while Cole is far more than the confident billionaire image he presents to the world. Beneath his commanding exterior is a man willing to be vulnerable when it comes to the woman he loves. Watching them navigate old grudges, complicated family dynamics, and their own fears made their relationship feel authentic and rewarding.

The Beckett family continues to be one of the highlights of this series. Their fierce protectiveness over Zara creates plenty of tension, especially once her brothers realise exactly who "California" really is. The long-standing feud between the Becketts and the Hartmanns raises the stakes throughout the novel, adding plenty of emotional conflict without overshadowing the romance itself.

The audiobook elevates the experience even further. Narrated in duet by Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow and produced by Blue Nose Audio, the performances are outstanding from beginning to end. Lucy Rivers captures Zara's determination, warmth, and vulnerability with ease, making every emotional moment believable. Aiden Snow is equally impressive as Cole, delivering a performance filled with confidence, charm, and genuine emotion. His Irish accent is remarkably convincing, and it is difficult to believe he is not Irish himself. Together, their chemistry creates an immersive listening experience that perfectly complements the story.

Reclaim Me gave me exactly what I had hoped for in Zara's story. It blends romance, family drama, emotional growth, and unforgettable chemistry into a book that keeps you invested from the opening chapters until the final page. Whether you're already a fan of the Beckett Brothers series or simply enjoy romances where love is tested by family loyalties and impossible circumstances, this installment is one that is well worth picking up.

What happens when a no-strings vacation fling turns into something neither of them saw coming? Pure audiobook magic.

Zara heads off on holiday looking for a little freedom and fun, never expecting her no-strings vacation fling to turn into something life-changing. Cole Hartmann is charming, possessive, determined, and absolutely unwilling to walk away once fate throws them back together. Their chemistry was instant, but what made this story shine was the emotional depth underneath all the steam. Between family loyalty, unexpected twists, and two people fighting for a future together.

Zara Beckett is fierce, independent, and determined to live life on her own terms.

Cole Hartmann is confident, successful, and used to being in control—until Zara turns his world upside down. The chemistry between these two was instant, but it was the emotional connection and unwavering devotion that kept me invested, I couldn’t stop rooting for them.

Cole quickly became one of my favorite romance heroes. Protective? Yes. Possessive? Absolutely. Completely gone for his woman? Without question. Watching him fight for the future he wanted with Zara had me swooning more than once.

♥️ What I Loved:
✨ Incredible chemistry
✨ Emotional depth mixed with plenty of steam
✨ A strong, independent heroine
✨ A protective billionaire hero
✨ Family drama and heartfelt moments

Ohhh… L.A. Gallagher has done it again! I swear this family just keeps pulling me back in with all their dramas… i just love this series. Book six in the series.

From the very moment Cole and Zara met at the pool I knew I was in for the best holiday romance story. Their chemistry was immediate and oh their banter is just amazing and was effortless! I absolutely loved the whole “California” and “Irish” thing they had going. They had me smiling, laughing and desperately waiting for their next interaction because every conversation somehow managed to get hotter than the last.

I loved Zara. She’s smart, successful, stubborn and refuses to let anyone (including her overprotective family) tell her what she should do... we love a strong FMC!
Then Cole was just… hot as hell. Confident, cocky, ridiculously charming and absolutely obsessed from the moment he saw her.
Watching these two try to convince themselves this was just going to be a bit of holiday fun was entertaining because they were absolutely NOT fooling ANYONE but themselves.

The spice was definitely bringing the heat! L.A. Gallagher knows exactly how to build sexual tension before letting it explode and there were more than a few moments where I found myself grinning like an idiot while listening and the choice of narrators couldn’t have been better!!!
Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow.. just perfect!!

My favourite thing about this series is always getting to see the Beckett family again and what trouble they find or finds them. I loved seeing everyone pop back in without taking the focus away from Cole and Zara, and giving us the much needed update on each couple we met before.

The audiobook was such a fun listen. The narrators really brought these characters to life… especially all the teasing, flirting and chemistry between them. They made it so easy to get completely lost in the story and I honestly didn’t want to stop listening. Lucy Rivers gave Zara that sweet and sassy vibe and Aiden Snow just brought out Cole’s controlled and confident feel!

If you’re listening rather than reading… good luck, it was nice knowing you. There were multiple occasions where I realised I had completely stopped what I was supposed to be doing to listen fully because I was too invested in whatever ridiculous amount of flirting was happening. My washing definitely suffered and honestly? Soooooo worth it.

Soo.. If you love billionaire romance, forced proximity, holiday flings with anonymous strangers.. hehe, and overprotective families, witty banter, loads and loads of chemistry and plenty of spice… then I’d definitely recommend picking this one up and the whole series!

I don’t know what L.A. Gallagher puts into these Beckett books but I keep coming back for more. At this point I’m just happily accepting that my TBR has become the Beckett family fan club!
If you’re looking for a slow burn… this isn’t it. This is more like someone threw a lit match into a fireworks factory. The attraction is immediate, the banter is soooo addictive and every encounter somehow leaves you wanting just one more chapter. Go grab this audio!

Holiday Flings and Carnal Things

Reclaim Me by LA Gallagher!
Book six in the Beckett Brothers Series.
Performed in duet by Lucy Rivers & Aiden Snow.
Release Date: July 29th

Reclaim follows the youngest and only girl of the Beckett clan. She is the only girl in a very protective Irish family.  You can only imagine the smothering she endures. Her brothers have built empires and she is going to do the same thing with her Interior Design Business to add to the Beckett world domination.  She has already added some impressive and prestigious clients to her growing portfolio. No wonder the American wants to work with her.  But she is putting it off until after her holiday.

Zara decides to go on a holiday to recharge and reboot.  Her brothers are fighting with an American (foreshadowing) who is trying to claim real estate in Dublin for his hotel and casino.

She heads to the Dominican Republic for an escape at an all inclusive resort for the rich.

While there with her ever-present, loyal bodyguard Tate she met a gentleman at the poolside bar.  They decide not to share names, so She is 'Irish' and he is 'California'.  She knows absolutely nothing about him. Except how he turned her body every which way and how he made her body feel.

Ten days of carnal pleasure and Zara leaves to come back to the real world.  But she leaves with a plus one, which she doesn't find out about until later.

Lucy Rivers voicing Zara was amazing, she embodied her strong sense of self and even when questioning whether she really could handle motherhood as a single mother.

The dinner where she had to tell her family she was pregnant and didn't know the father's real name. The banter was perfect, highlighting the double standards this family had. Between what the brothers could get away with and what she couldn't get away with.

Then Aiden Snow enters as Cole aka California
His gruffness and ruthlessness on how he went after what he wanted was perfection.

Cole has been the thorn in the Beckett's enterprise for a long time.  His attempts to chip away and move his enterprises in were priceless.  In the board room and bedroom.  Cole knows what he is doing.

When the life of the woman he loves along with his child is threatened, he will move mountains to make sure they are safe.  He will not lose Zara nor his child and the Becketts can die trying to take them away.

I give the story 4 stars, narration 5 stars and the spicy factor 4.5

Let me start by saying, i swear i have read this story before. (So if you were going for the enemies to lovers, millionaire, holiday fling criteria, you can skip this one)

Zara is the only sister to her 5 older brothers. She wants to make a name for herself and not be clumped just as a sister to the Becketts. I admire that quality in the woman. She’s a very sought after interior designer and so her brother’s competitor try to hire which she agrees to without any prior discussion. Weird. She goes out for a holiday.
Cole owns a chain of hotels across the world and wants to hire a famous interior designer, despite her family being his competition. But he also decides to take a holiday.
If you haven’t figured it out yet- they both meet at there holiday destination and have a fling. Of course they don’t share names or numbers.
Zara then finds out she’s pregnant. She goes to a meeting for a hotel and sees Cole is the one hiring her. Her brother’s competitor. They decide to be together, she doesn’t want to share this revelation to her family. They find out anyway when the family goes to an OBGYN appointment but see Zara and Cole together.
The plot of the book is her family’s enemy has escaped from prison and she’d be his likely target. So she has security and everything. The guy gets into her office, threatens her to kill. Cole reaches there in time and save her and their baby. Both families reconcile, she gives birth, they get engaged. The end.

I found a few things difficult to believe-
1. How do you not know what your competitors look like. Even if you have never met them you ivy must’ve seen a picture so i cant buy this story they didn’t knew each other at all.
2. Every business has competitors. Doesn’t make them an ‘enemy’.
3. Bodyguards are meant to be observant so they can protect better. How can her (and his) bodyguards not notice if someone was following or stalking her.
4. The whole case of the enemy coming after Zara to kill her seemed rushed. It happens in the last 10%

Tropes-
Millionaire romance, secret baby, enemies to lovers.

Plot 2/5
Story writing 3/5
Spice 3/5
Character development 4/5
Can read as a standalone

‘To holiday flings and carnal things.’

I can’t believe this series is ending! I have loved the Beckett Brothers and it’s only fitting to end with the one sister- Zara Beckett!

Despite being the youngest she has already made a name for herself with her Interior Design Business. After finally giving in and accepting the contract to work for her brother's rival hotel owner she decides to jet off to the Caribbean for a much needed vacay.

American billionaire hotel & casino owner Cole Hartmann finally decided to take a break. His family struggles with his mom remarrying for the 3rd time and his brother in and out of rehab have left him feeling a little overwhelmed along with the new hotel and casino he’s building in Dublin.

From the first encounter the banter and tension was off the charts!! The both are high profile and decide not to share their personal info only going by nicknames- “Irish” & “California” lived that. Zara is witty and full of sass!! She knows her worth and will make a man work for it! Cole has never chased a woman but after a few encounters with the fiery Irish woman he is down bad. Cole has a such a filthy mouth 🥵! They agree to a no strings attached 10 day vacay fling. And the chemistry is hotter than the Caribbean sun!☀️🔥🥵 When Zara returned home she didn’t just bring back a glowing tan. 👀
The plot also has suspense with the escape of felon Jack O’Conner who’s the real enemy to the Beckett family.
Months later we get a second chance romance, accidental pregnancy and over protective brothers who are essentially at (hotel) war with her baby daddy. Cole will do anything for Zara and proves it with his actions. The ending was such a great wrap up to the Beckett saga. I loved seeing past characters and new ones. If you want a spicy, billionaire romance with a MMC who has a dirty mouth and eyes only for her then add this one to your TBR! I highly recommend reading the series in order!

ALC Review

LA Gallagher is back with her latest installment of the Beckett Brothers book, and make no mistake, Zara Beckett is the star. Reclaim Me is book six of the series and is performed in immaculate duet narration by Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow.

Zara and Cole are both on vacation when they feel this spark. They decide no names and no information — a fling to scratch an itch. Their nicknames for each other (Irish is hers/California for him) allows them to be themselves without revealing themselves. Except for when they part ways, life becomes a whole lot more complicated and their paths eventually cross again through work. Their story takes a trip into some hostile territory, thanks to Zara’s angry and grudge-holding brothers.

Lucy Rivers IS Zara Beckett. I couldn’t get enough of her Irish accent; she is equal parts seductive and elegant. I’ve always adored the tone of Lucy’s voice, she is lyrical with a raspy edge and it pairs so well for a woman who is independent and knows what she wants. Her embodiment of Zara’s confidence, and also Zara’s insecurities toward motherhood, made the contrasting emotions so vivid. Zara is sharp-witted and sexy, all aspects came through in Lucy’s performance.

Aiden Snow plays Cole Hartmann, and what an enticing role for him. Cole oozes charm and wealth, and also some broody backstory. Aiden’s voice felt like it was in surround sound — it is an all-consuming performance that paired perfectly with Lucy’s. I particularly enjoyed when Aiden voiced the Beckett brothers — though Cole is American, he slipped into that fierce Beckett Irish accent without hesitation. When he voiced Rian Beckett, it sounded so similar to the original voice in book five (shout out to Robert Hatchet and CJ Bloom in that one).

This book has it all — romance, spice (it’s HOT), emotion, and suspense. The evolution of Zara is probably my favorite aspect of the story, and I couldn’t imagine anyone but Lucy at the helm. I will never be tired of this Beckett family.

🔥BOOK & AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: RECLAIM ME🔥
By LA Gallagher 🎧 Narrated by Lucy Rivers & Aiden Snow

This book completely CONSUMED me 😮‍🔥 From the tension to the steam to the emotional stakes—every single moment hit.

Zara and Cole’s story starts as a carefree, no-strings holiday fling… and spirals into something intense, complicated, and impossible to walk away from. The accidental pregnancy trope, DONE RIGHT. The family rivalry, Messy in the best way. And the chemistry, Absolutely explosive 🔥

Zara is such a strong, driven FMC. She refuses to lose herself, even when everything is stacked against her—and I loved that about her. And Cole? 🥵 Ruthless, possessive, and completely gone for her. The second he finds out she’s carrying his child, it’s over—this man is locked in and ready to burn the world down for her.

✨ No third act breakup (we LOVE to see it)
✨ Possessive billionaire hero
✨ Badass CEO heroine
✨ Accidental pregnancy + high stakes
✨ Family rivals + intense loyalty
✨ Glamour, angst, and ALL the steam

🎧 AUDIOBOOK REVIEW 🎧
Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow absolutely brought this story to LIFE.

Lucy Rivers delivers Zara’s strength, vulnerability, and emotional depth so beautifully—you can feel every internal conflict, every moment of resilience, and every crack in her armor.

And Aiden Snow 🥵 His voice is MADE for Cole. Deep, commanding, and full of intensity—he captures that possessive, dominant energy perfectly. Every line feels deliberate, powerful, and completely consuming.

Together, their performances elevate the story to another level. The tension feels sharper, the emotions hit harder, and the chemistry? Even more addictive.

If you love immersive audiobooks with powerhouse narration and stories that pull you in and don’t let go—this is an absolute MUST LISTEN.

The final book in LA Gallagher's Beckett Brothers/Family series features Zara Beckett, the sister of the brooding, billionaire Becketts . . . and LA Gallagher saved the best for last.

Zara meets her match, Cole, when she's on vacation -- away from her job and away from her over-protective brothers. And Zara just wants to have some no-strings fun. So she and Cole play a game where they spend 10 gorgeous, sexy days together and never share any personal details. That way they can go back to their lives feeling free and clear to go on about their very busy lives -- Zara in Ireland, and Cole back in America.

And that's exactly what happens, until fate brings them back together and they realize their lives are already more entwined than they could have imagined.

This is sort of an enemies to lovers, except they didn't know they were enemies, as well as a surprise pregnancy, billionaire romance that honestly captivated me from the very beginning. Zara is fun, intelligent, and driven by a personal need to show her family that she's fully capable of running her own very successful business on her own, but I have to admit, it's fun when her overbearing brothers show up. And Cole is an amazing MMC who is as hot and commanding as any of the Beckett brothers.

I do recommend that this series be read in order if you don't want the thread of a thriller to be spoiled by reading out of order. What starts in the first book (Wreck Me) comes to an exciting culmination in Reclaim Me.

Reclaim Me by L.A. Gallagher is a solid 4-star read for me. I loved the combination of forbidden romance, billionaire romance, vacation fling, surprise pregnancy, and enemies-to-lovers vibes.

Zara is the youngest—and only female—Beckett sibling, and her older brothers are fiercely protective of her. She’s determined to build a successful business and decides she needs a well-deserved getaway.

Cole is looking for an escape of his own. With his mother’s wedding approaching, he takes the opportunity to finally go on a vacation he’s long overdue for.

When Zara and Cole meet, the chemistry is instant and explosive. Since they both come from well-known families, they agree to enjoy a no-strings, 10-day fling—no real names, no phone numbers, and no expectations of seeing each other again.

Of course, reality has other plans. Once they’re back home, they discover Cole is one of Zara’s brother’s biggest business rivals. To make matters even more complicated, Zara finds out she’s pregnant with his baby

The audiobook is also a solid 4 stars. Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow did an excellent job bringing Zara and Cole to life. Their performances captured both the emotional moments and the undeniable chemistry between the characters, making for an enjoyable listening experience.

Overall, I thought this was a satisfying conclusion to the Beckett Brothers series. It wrapped up the family well while still delivering plenty of romance, tension, and heartfelt moments. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what L.A. Gallagher writes next.

Beckett Brothers Book 6
🎧 Performed in duet by Lucy Rivers & Aiden Snow

📖 I am genuinely sad to say goodbye to the Beckett Brothers because this series has been SO good. And ending with Zara, the youngest and only Beckett sister, was perfect.

Zara meets Cole on vacation and wants ten nights where she can just be herself. No names. No personal details. No strings. Then she disappears without saying goodbye. Months later, Zara walks into a business meeting pregnant and discovers two things at once. Her vacation fling is Cole, the billionaire her brothers absolutely hate, and he is also the father of her baby. 😳

Cole completely made this book for me. The second he realizes that baby is his, there is no hesitation. He wants Zara. He wants their baby. He wants the entire future. Watching him show up for her when she needs someone most made me love him even more, and that ending was exactly what I wanted for this series.

Before taking on the biggest project of her career, she escapes to the Caribbean for one carefree holiday.

Cole Hartmann is the billionaire hotel owner who’s constantly at odds with the Beckett family. Burned out by work, family drama and the endless attention that comes with his wealth, he’s looking for one thing—a no-strings-attached escape.

When “Irish” meets “California,” neither reveals who they really are. What starts as a sizzling holiday fling quickly becomes something neither expected… and once Zara is back in Dublin, not one but two life-changing surprises change everything.

Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow absolutely brought Zara and Cole to life. Their performances captured every emotional moment, every ounce of tension, and yes… they more than delivered when it came to the spice. L.A. Gallagher writes chemistry that’s impossible to ignore, and these narrators elevated every scene.

Wait, is this the last book? I’m going to be so sad I loved this whole series so much 😭

This follows Zara the youngest of the becketts (5 older brothers poor girl) anyways she is an interior designer and decides to take a vacation to the Caribbean to relax especially since she just agreed to design her family’s business rivals casino without telling them.

On vacation she meets a very hot American guy (Cole) he is instantly very into her and they agree on 10 days no strings attached hook up. Zara and Cole are both high profile so when Zara says she doesn’t want to exchange names, numbers or any personal info that works perfectly for Cole too. By the end of their 10 days they both have developed feelings but a deals a deal and they part ways.
Well Zara finds out she brought home a little souvenir in her belly 👶🏻 obviously she doesn’t know any of Cole’s information so she decides she will just be a single mom and figure it out. That’s until she walks into a meeting a few months later to meet the owner/her family’s rival whos opening the casino she’s designing and it of course is her hot vacation hookup. Oh and now she’s definitely sporting a baby bump that he instantly zeros in on! Ohhhhh & he hasn’t been able to stop thinking about her and was about to hire a PI to find her anyway 😊

1 Giant oversight…

********SPOILERS***********

I really enjoyed the story and the characters! The initial hookup was fun, giving us some spicy 🌶️ moments right from the start, and then diving into the emotions and pursuit afterward felt real and exciting. Cole Hartmann was totally delicious, and Zara was a mix of strong and vulnerable and very likable.

But here’s the thing: there’s a major plot hole that honestly left me scratching my head. Did the editors just take a coffee break when they got to this part? Did you not care to fix it?

Both Zara and Cole are billionaires running successful businesses, right? Logically this means they’re super detail-oriented and know their competition inside and out. Also, Cole is literally a business enemy of the Beckett brothers. He knows their names, what they look like, and he’s been chasing Zara for her design work for months. Yet somehow, SOMEHOW he has no clue what she looks like? 🤔

And Zara, she knows Cole Hartmann by name and knows he’s a thorn in her brothers' sides. She’s been dodging his emails for months, but neither she nor her team bothered to look up the billionaire causing all this trouble?

Naw, totally unbelievable. How can you start a story (which i really enjoyed) on such an utterly unbelievable plot? Especially when attention to detail is pivotal to their character traits?

Book #6 The Beckett Brother's series

We follow Zara the sister of the beckett brother's she is finally getting her HEA. After a steamy week on holiday with Cole a rival of the beckett family Zara finds herself in a complicated situation. Cole is determined to make Zara his and he will do anything to win her over.

This is such a fun, steamy, flirty, and exhilarating read. I absolutely loved Cole and Zara. They have so much chemistry together and are adorable. Zara is a strong and independent FMC determined to make her business thrive and show her family she can be successful. Cole is trying to bring his father's dream to life and to make a life with Zara. Cole is a bit of a jerk, a tad grumpy, but he is a teddy bear underneath all that exterior gruffness. He was a perfect book boyfriend. Zara is one lucky women.

Overall, I love this series and can not recommend it enough. L.A. Gallagher writes such heartwarming and enjoyable stories. The narrators performed the story perfectly. The accents they had to do was done seamlessly. Lucy & Aiden make a fabulous duo.

Thank you Blue Nose Audio & L.A. Gallagher for this ALC. I am looking forward to more of L.A. Gallagher's work in the future.

The Beckett Brothers, Book 6
By: L A Gallagher
Narrated by: Lucy Rivers, Aiden Snow

Zara's story. The sister of the Beckett's and she is feisty and ready to claim her life for herself. A one night stand with no names sounds like a good start. Little did she know this one night stand was bringing her a change to her life she never expected. Then to see the man and his family is trying to take over her family business. When Cole sees her though, pregnant with his child, his over protectiveness kicks in and the love he felt the instant he met her comes out strong. Will she give into her own feelings and choose the man she loves over her family? This is a fabulous story, and I have to say I was waiting for Zara! She is independent, determined and spunky, but when it comes to Cole and his alpha ways, she totally melts. Cole is all in, ready to take on his new life and will do anything to get it. But this is no walk in the park! Fun, spicy, family drama, it's all there and LA Gallagher delivers is all with a punch! Loved this!

Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow tell the story with all the excitement and all the thrills. Each scene is full of passions of love or passions of power, and it's intoxicating! I loved this pairing and knew when I saw their names I was in for a treat. This is a fabulous listen and series.

From Fling to Forever

After reading this book I hope all my single ladies experience this kind of holiday at least once in their lifetime!!!

Whew!!! Zara’s story is one for the record books that’s for sure! She finds herself traveling solo for a vacation before things really get busy at her design business and runs into Cole who is running away from having to witness his mom get married…again. The two have an instant connection and attraction and agree to a no-names, no phone numbers 2 week fling. They both want more but neither can bring themselves to say it.

Neither of them know they will be working together in the future, but when they see each other again months later things take a turn when they realize their vacation is bonding them forever with the baby Zara is carrying.

Passionate, intense, exciting, dramatic (including the family drama), love, loss are the best way to describe this book. The banter between the main characters is refreshing and Cole’s determination to make Zara his after swearing off relationships is so beautiful.

We continue to get bits and pieces of the entire Beckett family and the amazing sisters-in-law that all have Zara’s back.

Another fantastic read from Gallagher. This book is the Beckett sister’s story. Zara is the baby of the family but extremely independent. She wants to prove she is just as good, if not better then, her brothers at conquering the business world.
Cole is trying to honor his father’s legacy. His dad was from Dublin and always wanted to see a Hartman hotel and casino in his home country. This pits Cole against the Becketts. Dublin is the Beckett’s city and they will do what they can to keep it that way. Too bad Cole is just as determined.
Cole and Zara meet on vacation but don’t exchange names and don’t know who the other is. After spending 10 days together, neither one can shake the memories, and in Zara’s case, the consequences.
I love how when they finally reconnected, Cole was all in. He did everything he could to keep Zara in his life from the beginning of their reunion.
How will this work for Cole and Zara? Will Zara have to choose between her family and Cole? And what about the escaped Jack O’Connor? Read to see the amazing final installment of the Beckett series.

(The Beckett Brothers Book 6)
By L.A. Gallagher

My boyfriend is something else. By day, he’s the ruthless billionaire my brothers can’t stand the mere mention of. By night, he’s the most affectionate, attentive man I’ve ever met.

Zara owns me—body, mind, and every f***ed-up part in between. She just doesn’t know it yet. She thinks she knows nothing about me—she’s wrong.

‘It’s like Romeo and Juliet but he’s so much hotter than Leonardo Di Caprio’

What a perfect way to close out this family’s story! Zara and Cole are a modern day Romeo and Juliet without the family killings. We have two characters that meet while on vacation and have a passionate time together. Fast forward a bit and Zara learns she pregnant and that the father is none other than the viral to their family’s hotel empire. There’s drama, suspense, lots of sex and a beautiful reunion. Loved the ride!!

Cole and Zara ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t believe that this series is officially over. The Beckett brothers and Zara have owned my heart from book one, but Cole & Zara? They’re the explosive finale I didn’t know I needed. Their story is spicy, chaotic, hilarious, and absolutely addictive from start to finish.

Cole’s mouth had me blushing, laughing, and kicking my feet, while Zara is the kind of strong, independent woman you can’t help but adore. She matches him in every way that matters, and watching the “enemy” turn into the man who can’t breathe without her? Perfection.

Their chemistry is electric, their banter is unmatched, and the way they fit together feels effortless. I was laughing every time Cole called Tate the “bionic bodyguard”. Loved Niko and Livvie and I cannot wait to read her book.

This series has been pure joy, spice, and chaos. 🥰

This is the finale book in the ‘Beckett series’.
This audiobook was narrated in duet by Lucy Rivers & Aiden Snow. This was amazing! Top-notch narration.. it was really good. You would never know that Aiden wasn’t Irish (personally.. he does the accent so well!) Lucy was perfect for Zara!
Zara is the youngest and only girl of the Beckett family. She’s tired of being treated as the baby of the family & she’s tried of no one taking her seriously. She went into interior design because it’s what SHE wanted to do. She also wanted to prove them all wrong.
She meets Cole while on holiday in the Dominican Republic.

The overall narration of the series: 5 ⭐️
The overall stories: 2.5/3 ⭐️
Overall: This wasn’t the best series but it wasn’t the worst. It was very repetitive honestly. The smut was even so boring and much the same.

Cole & Zara

4.75⭐️ 3🌶️

I can’t believe we are at the final book and it was just as explosive as I was expecting! I loved everything about this one. The possessive claiming, the forbiddenness, and all the family banter.

Meeting each other on a vacation they plan to have a holiday fling with no strings and no names, however when back with reality Zara discovers she is pregnant!

I loved the anticipation and build up of how this story was going to be uncovered and I loved how there was an element of suspense in the background.

Their reunion was everything I wanted and more and these two had such explosive chemistry and so many swoony moments.
Absolutely adored Zara’s character and laughed at her inability to stay away from the sexy American billionaire!

“Today, my entire world shifted. Tomorrow? I start reclaiming what’s mine.”

This has been a fantastic series and I’m so excited for what’s to come!

Honestly, I was hesitant picking up this one because it is not my usual cup of tea, but I must say, I have no regrets picking it up.

This book was no bs, everyone standing their own grounds, having confident stances, and being stubborn enough. No kidding that Gallanger can spice the book up. For someone who doesn't believe in insta love stories, the MCs were indeed electric - solely due to Gallagher's writing and portrayal of the characters. I love the standoff between the MMC and the FMC's brothers, and I loved how caring and straight to the point both the MCs were.

I have read a few similar books, but for me, in this one, the only downside was that there were some things that were just not believable. How could you not know the face of someone who is a) famous, b) the rival of your family, and c) the client/company you are working with? Also, I am quite disappointed with the bodyguard of the FMC haha! It just didn't add up, he felt a bit powerless and easy going.

*ALC review* Another book by L.A. Gallagher that took me by surprise in the best ways! For instance, I'm not usually a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope, but I absolutely loved the way that it happened, and the circumstances surrounding why it played out the way it did as well. The pull between the MCs, the outside tension they had to work through, and of it had me wating it up and begging for more! Zara Beckett was exactly the woman I expected being the sole female in a family full of overprotective brothers, and I fell for her immediately! Coupled with the fact that the ever talented Lucy Rivers as the narrator and I had no choice but to love her! Cole was no slouch himself, being every bit the possessive billionaire MMC that I tend to love. Again Blue Nose Audio nailed the casting for narrators, because the amazing Aiden Snow voiced Cole and I could not have been more pleased with the portrayal of these characters from either narrator!

✨ALC REVIEW✨

Thank you to BlueNose Audio for the ALC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The true “baby Beckett” and only daughter, Zara finally gets her turn. I was waiting for her story and Gallagher did not disappoint. I will say there were some predictable moments other than that, I enjoyed the ride.
I think any woman who reads romance will love this one. Going on holiday and decide a mystery hook up is best. No names nothing personal. Brilliant!
Gives “never have I ever” a new meaning.
Lucy Rivers tried so hard with the Irish accent. Was not bad, just wasn’t consistent. She’s great at what she does though. Aiden Snow was his normal greatness. These two had the chemistry and it worked!
I’m sure the Christmas book will be just as good as this series has been.
