As the clock strikes midnight, remember . . .

Each moment we have to spend with our children is a blessing from above. But as we cherish this chapter of life, we realize the pages of time will keep turning. This is a treasure of a little book! As a new father of my own little Cinderella, this really hit home. If you don't know, the Chapman family suffered a very tragic loss of one of their adopted daughters not long ago. I cannot imagine the grief of that moment and each moment since for Steven and his family. But I also know that Steven was cherishing every moment with her to the best of his ability. His strength and courage is a real testament to the power of faith and trusting in all of God's work -- through what we see as good and bad. As he said in one of his songs, "God is God, and I am not." Our time with loved ones is often very brief. I hope that when my daughter says "Daddy, I need to practice my dancing. Daddy, Please" that I will recognize it as a moment I can't let pass. Thank you for the wisdom Steven!

A ten or fifteen minute read, with pictures of his cinderella, This book is a wonderful tribute to the importance of quality time because time is fleeting. A father's heart is exposed here.
