Love on the Menu

Rate this book
Zillah Robinson’s whole life is her new catering company, ‘Mrs Robinson’. Still grieving the death of her beloved husband, Daniel, she finds solace in expertly catering the weddings of young couples in the first days of romance, and minding her neighbour’s cats. Love is the last thing on Zillah’s mind.

Then handsome Hal Christmas arrives in Bath, stealing her precious company name and managing to infuriate Zillah at every turn. Arrogant and aloof, Hal throws Zillah’s personal and professional life into disarray. With a failed relationship and a dull if profitable accounting career behind him, Hal has decided to start an entertainment agency and he's determined to make it a success. But, despite his arrogance, Zillah finds herself helplessly attracted to him. That is, until he signs up the fun, flirtatious singer Zak Silver, making a love triangle out of an already complicated situation.

Will Zillah be able to choose between the two men? Will she ever trust another man with her fragile heart? And, when her business falls on hard times, will she be able to trust Hal enough to help her when she needs it most? Love on the Menu is a heartfelt romance about taking chances, risking your heart and learning to love again.

Jill Barry is a former air hostess, secretary and guest house owner and now finds inspiration for her contemporary and historical romance novels in her own quiet corner of Wales.
