"Like she was already mine. She was. She is. Because till death do us part."
Gravehouse (Cursed Lovers Duet Book 2) By Amo Jones
Whewwwww baby! What a way to end this duet. Asher & Ivy's story picks up right where we left off in book 1.
Dude these characters are so complex, and intriguing, and in true Amo fashion, terrifying lol. This story has twists and turns and suspense and honestly I couldn't put it down.
Asher and Ivy are individually a force to be reckoned with, but together? Untouchable. Just when you think you have it figured out? You don't. So strap in for one hell of a ride.
Book was overall good but it is hard to follow with all the grammar errors and even one chapter says it’s from Asher’s pov when it’s actually Ivy. It’s so bad.
Gravehouse completely wrecked me in the best way possible. If you thought Playhouse was wild, you are not ready for this conclusion to the Cursed Lovers Duet. It picks up right where we left off, and the chaos is next level.
The Plot: The story is basically a mindf*ck masterclass. Ivanya (Ivy) thought she killed the only man she ever loved, but guess what? He shows up alive... right at her wedding as the actual groom! Talk about dramatic entrances. Instead of a bullet, Asher gives her a ring, a forced marriage, and locks her down in a house she can’t leave. Asher wants pure revenge, Ivy is drowning in guilt, and they are both just trying so hard to hide how obsessed they still are with each other. But nothing is what it seems, and they are both just pawns in a much bigger, deadlier game.
The Characters: Ivanya Dubois (Ivy): She is a literal queen crowned Mariée de la Mort (Bride of Death). She is trained to kill monsters, super dangerous, and doesn't take crap from anyone. I love how badass she is, even when her whole world is crumbling. Asher Delacroix: Holy alpha energy. He is a famous snowboarder but also a total psycho in the best romance-book way. He is so possessive, intense, and furious, but his love for Ivy is just blinding. He fell first and he fell hard.
Favorite Quotes:
“Believe the part where I fell in love with you when I shouldn't have. The part where you shot me but missed."
“Ivy has been my safe space for longer than I care to admit, yet when I picture her green eyes now, all I feel is pain. I hate her for it. I need her for it.”
"Worried about me, Venom?" "Worried you'll wake up with my hands around your throat?"
Final Thoughts: The tension between Asher and Ivy literally melted my screen. The push-and-pull, the dark secrets, and the plot twists made it impossible to put down. Amo Jones is the queen of dark romance for a reason. If you like your romance messy, dangerous, and totally unhinged, you need to read this duet right now.
It feels like it takes me to long to put my thoughts about this amazing closure to the cursed lovers Duett. Amo has a talent for making decisions that keeping her readers entertwinded in her Story’s. After the end of the first book the wait for Gravehouse and find how this tow might get their Happy Ending. I remember thinking a few times how the …are we getting to this point now. It’s no secret that dispite the wait wich was definitely worth the I was sucked in from page one to the final. Now matter how deep i was 😮 was caught in this Story my mind never stoped to ask me this particular question. I felt like those characters sucked me in to their minds. We saw a lot of development from the pool of characters an the words that the author found to give us a glimpse of the minds of the tow main characters. I felt for them hard. Dispite both of the characters had diferent lives from my I was able to get what whether where feeling and understand their reactions even if there weren’t smart
Ivy is a young women who seems to think she isn't allowed to have happen good thing to her. We all see that she isn't givng up easy on life. She is smart and does what's good for her. Asher is among chaminh young man. But also tough his profession he learned to foght for what he want's If you're on his good page he does everything for you To conclude this final book of this Duett is an other plot twist ridden story that keeps you on your toes you defenitly need some nerves to get there cause of the thrill.
I am going to start this off and say if Amo Jones writes it, I will read it no question. She is a genius. Just saying.
Now onto this masterpiece of a mindf*ck duet. You have to read Playhouse first! This continues right where Playhouse left off.
My girl Ivyana. She is such a bad ass. She is one I would take with me for a girl's weekend or to blow sh!t up. She is smart, quick whitted, a boss, and deeply cares for those that matter to her. I mean deeply. You can count them on your hands. It's a small group.
Asher. Ohhh this man. He is that person. He pisses you off to the point you want to punch his smug face (only for a bit) while also wanting to be thrown down by him and let him ruin you. As Christina Aguilera says "he's the one stop shop, makes the panty drop a sweet talking sugar coated candy man". Delicious!!!
The story it's self, the plot the twists keeps you on your toes and holding your breath. This one is "action packed" with twists. You think you may know where things are going but your wrong. I knew my questions about one character where legit but what I learned. Holy F*ck. This duet was chefs kiss as usual from Amo. This left me staring at the wall when it was done. Really wondering if this is the end of my visit to Veilarath.
I can't wait for the paperback to be available because that will be ordered right away. Playhouse needs it's partner. If you have not entered the world of Amo Jones this is a good introduction to the mind f she can give in a pretty wrapped thigh clenching rollercoaster of a story. Ashvy will live rent free. I love them so much. I hope we get more. Atlas and Punk, Luce, Jord, Khloe. I need more 😭 I don't want to leave Veilarath.
“ I never wanted marriage. I never wanted love. Love was disposable and fragile, something that bent until it broke.”
This book is something else y’all. Asher literally owns my soul at this point. Picking up where Playhouse ended, readers are thrust into the aftermath of that explosive cliffhanger. While Ivy lives with remorse and guilt. Asher is planning his revenge. This book is literally classic Amo Mindf*ck and the twist and turns will have you guessing every sentence. If you love a story that is unpredictable and has a MMC that’ll steal your soul, then you need to read this book. Let’s not forget the memorable side characters!
Tropes 🖤 Reverse Age Gap 🖤 Famous Snowboarder MMC 🖤 Secret Assassin FMC 🖤 Husband’s Best Friend 🖤 Enemies-to-Lovers 🖤 Forced Marriage
Amo Jones really said, “You thought you knew what was happening?” and then proceeded to prove me WRONG. 😭🖤
Grave House was dark, twisted, chaotic, addictive, and completely unhinged—in the best way. The tension, the secrets, the obsession, the WTF moments?! I swear every time I thought I had something figured out, Amo flipped the entire story on its head.
This is the kind of book that makes you question EVERYONE. Nobody feels safe. Nothing feels accidental. And somehow, the deeper I got into Grave House, the more I needed answers.
The chemistry? 🥵 The darkness? 🖤 The mind games? INSANE. My trust issues after finishing? 📈📈📈
Amo Jones has a very specific brand of beautiful chaos, and Grave House reminded me exactly why I keep coming back for more.
If you like your romance dark, your characters morally questionable, and your plot full of moments that make you whisper “what the actual f*ck…” — welcome to Grave House. 🪦🖤
5⭐️ | Dark Romance | Twisted | Obsessive | Addictive
Could not finish this book. I wanted to like it because I love the MMC and the plot but the FMC is insufferable. I am supposed to believe that a man that you shot comes back for revenge and you’re a trained assassin and cant figure out his motives and best him? Like the FMC is so transparent idk how she’s ever been undercover. Such a shame but im supposed to believe she’s a villain when a toddler has more emotional regulation than her.
Waited months for this to drop and as much as I’m a ride or die for Amo, it didn’t hit like I thought it would? 🥲
I finished it in a day, still loved it with all the twists but I also have so many questions? I might try a re read to see if I feel different but after loving Playhouse so much I really thought this would by the same!
Saying that, I do bloody love Ivy and Asher, and in true Amo style the twists and turns have you staying up late just to finish the chapter!
I genuinely cannot put into words how much I needed this book. After the way the first book ended AND a three-month reading slump, this book literally grabbed me by the hair and dragged me straight out of it. I finished it in less than 24 hours. 😂
As always with Amo Jones, this was completely unhinged in the best possible way. Twist after twist, insane tension, deep emotions, over-the-top banter, and SO many moments that had me staring at the page like… WHAT?!
I absolutely love the way Amo writes. I highlighted so many sentences simply because they were beautifully written or made me stop and think. There’s something about her writing that just gets under my skin, and I think this duet has officially become one of my favourites from her.
One thing I particularly admired was the way the secrets were handled. There are POVs where you know the character is aware of much more than they have revealed to everyone else, yet it never feels forced or like the author is deliberately withholding information just to create suspense. Instead, we get to see their inner conflict, their thoughts, and the weight of what they’re keeping to themselves in such a beautifully written way. It feels natural and incredibly well executed. I honestly think that is such a difficult thing to pull off, and Amo did it brilliantly.
And the tension between these two?! The emotions?! The absolute MONUMENTAL love between them?! Easily one of my favourite things about this entire duet. ❤️
The ending was absolutely perfect for them. I genuinely wouldn’t have chosen a better final scene… but when I turned the page and realised there were NO MORE PAGES, I actually screamed. 😂 I was simply not ready to let go of this couple or this world.
And obviously (iykyk) I would absolutely love to see some of these side characters get their own books, so I’ll just be over here hoping. 🤞🏻
Because if there’s one thing this story makes clear, it’s that nothing is ever quite what it seems.
Except for one thing.
The love and the feelings between these two. Those are undeniable. ❤️
Aghhh!!! The highy anticipated conclusion to the Cursed Lovers Duet is here and she is fireeee!! Gravehouse picked up right where Playhouse left off – 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘥𝘴!! We get answers, but do we really?!? With more of the story, comes more mystery, suspense, QUESTIONS, twists, & all the sexual tension and banter in-between!! This duet will go down as one of my all-time favourites from our dark queen! If you love a dark romance that will rock you to your core, this is one that will stay on your mind for years to come. As always, I’ll leave you with my fave quotes ↓↓
There are some things that Amo Jones does exceedingly well. She excels at deep dark romance, mindf@ckery, and unforeseen twists and turns. These jaw-dropping moments were set to ‘knock my socks off’, along with mic drops that I read and re-read. There were little Easter eggs along the way that didn’t make sense until you got to the ending, and then there were fireworks going off in my brain as little pieces of the puzzle just fell into place. 🤯🤯🤯
Gravehouse is the conclusion of the Cursed Lovers duet and picks up where Playhouse ended. Ivy and Asher are here to make sure that we won’t miss them, and I’m telling you, with their ending, they will not be forgotten. Asher is concentrating on revenge, while Ivy is trying to deal with her immense guilt. The overall vibe is FAAFO, which is aimed at each other, enemies, press, family members, etc. The first 2/3 (ish) of the book is this wonderfully intense and slow twisted buildup, while the last 1/3 (ish) is a warning to strap in and hold on, because the tea is being spilt and no one is safe.
Overall, I’m telling y’all that Gravehouse had me all up in my feels from being shocked, feeling warm and fuzzy (if Asher and Ivy were the warm and cuddly type), crying and sad, to being overall annihilated with the ending. Ivy and Asher have brought Les Amani’s maudits to their truest meaning. Well done and congrats to my @darkromancemommy, you have done it again.
Gravehouse has it ALL. 😭🖤 the conclusion to the Cursed Lovers duet just OBLITERATED me and I need everyone to know it picks up literally right where Playhouse left off, so that cliffhanger she left us on? handled immediately — we don’t miss a beat and true to Amo fashion: if you think you’ve got it figured out, you’re already wrong. ALREADY. his mind: vengeance her mind: guilt the questionable decisions they both make?? hits different when they’re trying SO hard not to show what they’re feeling 🥴 but bestie — they’re both just chess pieces on a much bigger board, and there IS a puppet master pulling the strings. best laid plans and all that 👀 revenge vs love vs who do you even trust anymore — so many secrets unraveling and I could NOT put this down. edge of my seat the entire time 🔥

HOLY HEART-THRASHER! Amo Jones has rendered me awe-struck and speechless once again! Gravehouse is a menacing mash-up of forced marriage meets mafia romance that had me screaming for mercy. It’s deliciously dark and depraved, brutal and brave, and so shatteringly stunning. My emotions couldn’t stop raging from this roller coaster full of chills, thrills, heart, and heat. I was on edge the whole time reading.
Asher and Ivy are more fiery than ever. Their chemistry blazes and burns, so energizing and enticing, a pulse that pounds the pages. In a world of secrets and sin, this hero and heroine embark on an enticing cat and mouse game that only one may win. The love-hate line blurs between the predator and the prey … and the player and the played. I love how Ivy and Asher challenge each other every step of the way. I lived for their devious games and blazing banter!
I felt the undeniable chemistry, the palpable pull, and the love-hate vibes. I was so deeply entwined in this romance that slayed every part of me. Gravehouse burns with fire and feels as it bleeds angst, annihilating me in the best way. This romance was both my pleasure and pain … my love and loathing … my addiction and undoing.
The twists and turns … the secrets and “watch your back” betrayal … the hot and cold personas … the raging angst … and the jaw-dropping revelations … I was so undone! Gravehouse was the sweetest torture that had me aching for more. The perfect storm of dark and light, fire and ice, and sin and salvation. I couldn’t put this dark delight down.
Hauntingly beautiful and brilliantly told, Gravehouse is EVERYTHING! It’s easily a top 2026 romance and a lifetime favorite. Team #Ashvy for life!

This is a dark romance. Not grey. Read the trigger warnings before reading.
Asher Delacroix & Ivy's ( Ivyana) story picks up right where we left off in book 1, Playhouse. Asher and Ivy are individually a force to be reckoned with, but together? Untouchable. Ivy doesn’t know what happened to Asher since she saw him a year ago. She hadn’t hear from anyone that he knew in that time.
Asher's twin Atlas is the book. Ivy is drawn to Asher but she knows Atlas looks exactly the same, she's just alwasy loved / hated with Asher. Asher wants to hurt Ivy as she hurt him in book 1, but he loves her and doesn't want her to see / realize that. Ivy is so torn that Asher made her marry him she doesn't know what to do.
I did receive a free ARC Copy of this book from the author Amo Jones. I am freely leaving a honest book review.
I absolutely devoured this book. From the very first chapter, I was hooked, and by the end I was completely obsessed with these characters. Their chemistry was electric, the banter was addictive, and the emotional tension had me kicking my feet!!! Oh, the STEAM? Absolutely top-tier.
The characters made this story shine for me. They felt layered, authentic, and so easy to become invested in. I found myself rooting for them through every challenge, laughing with them (Atlas bby my heart and soul), swooning over them, and refusing to stop reading because I needed to know what happened next.
The only reason this isn’t a full five stars for me is that I found myself confused a few times with the pacing and scene transitions. There were moments where it felt like we jumped from one scene to another without much connection, leaving me wondering if I’d accidentally skipped a page. It didn’t happen constantly, but enough that it pulled me out of the story a handful of times.
That said, it wasn’t enough to take away from how much I really liked this book. If you’re looking for an intense love story (ha, I say love so lightly here) - one full of blood, murder, death, revenge, broken trust, etc., this one’s for you!
5✨ ARC Review Gravehouse is the second book in the Cursed Lovers Duet. It was everything i didn’t know it could be and more. I loved it. I stared at my wall for at LEAST an hour after I finished it because all i could thing about was “what did I just read?” i love books that are unpredictable and anything could happen at any given moment and Amo delivers that with pure perfection. I was mind fucked so hard i was speechless. Somehow I ended up crying while i was reading and didn’t even notice because that’s how intense and engaging Gravehouse is. I saw none of it coming and i loved every moment of it. Amo thank you for this ARC.
Suspense, secrets, and a whole lot of sexual tension; Gravehouse was a ride and then some. Amo came in hard with the chaos and her classic twisty madness.
Asher and Ivy melted snow with their scorching chemistry, and the bouts of undiluted possessiveness created an addictive push and pull dynamic and unbridled tension. Their brand of messiness was the kind I couldn't help but root for.
I loved seeing Asher and Ivy lose control and all that love/hate passion that came from it.
Gravehouse was a never ending buzz that kept me spiraling from beginning to end. It wasn't just a forced marriage romance; it was a story full of passion, giving up control, and finding truth amongst the chaos.
This is a choas of twists and mysterious read that left with a nail biting to what did I just read. This is a very intense dark read that I enjoyed reading and loved the story. This is full of emotions and exciting adrenaline parts. There just isn’t enough words to describe or express other then this is a masterpiece and must read. This is not a standalone book.
She killed the only man she ever loved. Then he showed up at her wedding as the groom. She was built to kill monsters. This one came back to marry her.
Gravehouse is the conclusion to Ivy and Asher's cursed lovers story.

…..i’m still shocked!!! amo, you’re a fucking genius! i love your brain (in a not weird way) it was pretty smooth sailing for the most part but that last 20%, my godddd WHAT WAS THAT!!? So much going on on every page. The plot twists left my brain reeling. Still. Couldn’t have seen them coming from a mile away! I just love how she never shies away from baring a character's rawest, most vulnerable parts, or the messy, brutal edges of their relationships. I have to say, I felt personally betrayed when Ivy found out everything, like how could they do that to her!? I’m totally on her side about everything. My baby went through so much and emerged as more than a survivor. She literally clawed her way back to herself and I am so proud of her. Now all i can say is; she has done it yet again ladies, so get in for a motherfucking ride!
Death was never going to come easy for me, even though I’d spread my legs for it on multiple occasions.”
Ivy and Asher’s story is finished. I must say I was bored out of my mind for the first 60% of the book. It took days to finish because I just couldn’t get into it. Nothing was happening. But the last 40% is when the mind fuckery started. And I became invested.
Ivy doesn’t understand what’s happening and what’s going on in her life. She’s a mess. Rightfully so because everyone is pulling her strings. Everyone’s true identities are finally out to play and well, it’s twisty true to Amo Jones style.
It’s dark. It’s a mind fuck. And while I w joyed book one more than book two, I’m relieved to see Ivy and Asher are end game and get an HEA
“How. How can the man who ripped my life apart still look like the only safe place left to stand?”
Here we go again; Amo has rendered me speechless with her dark and all-consuming CHAOS. This is the conclusion to the INSANITY of book one and the maddening cliffhanger we were left on. She can write an unhinged love with no mercy for vengeance like no other. Ivy and Asher’s story has many dark twists and secrets that play out in ways you’d never expect from the Queen of absolute chaos and brilliance. She NEVER makes anything easy for her characters or her readers. This absolutely hit the mark and is well worth the anticipation of this conclusion. The chemistry and passion these two have is almost unbearable. This is a powerhouse of a duet, and I couldn’t step away from it! FREAKING LOVED IT. 5 ⭐️
I’m obsessed with Asher and Ivy! I literally counted down the days for this book and I’m so happy it is finally here!
Gravehouse is the continuation in the Cursed Lovers duet. This is a forced marriage dark romance that is full of twists and surprises. Not a single doubt for me that this was an Amo Jones book. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The intensity of this book speaks for itself. There tension and angst between these two and it made for such delicious reading. I definitely didn’t want to put this read down. Easily five stars for this book from me.
I am always excited for what Amo has in store for us. I know whatever it is, I’ll be reading it! I definitely recommend this duet for others to read.

Twists, spice, suspense, other woman drama and revenge, Gravehouse has it all in the conclusion to the Cursed Lovers duet. I have read quite a few Amo Jones books over the years, and this duet rates up there with one of my favourites. While the cat and mouse, back and forth between Asher and Ivy, sometimes drove me crazy, I was here for it! The tension between these two! What will win out? Revenge? Love? Who to believe? So many secrets to unravel. Gravehouse had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Both Playhouse and Gravehouse fall into the category of books I will read again, making them worthy of my 5/5-star rating.
What an incredible conclusion to this duet! Amo Jones delivered everything I love in a dark romance—twists, suspense, angst, and a story that kept me questioning everything. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, another shocking revelation had me completely rethinking everything. The chemistry, the tension, and the emotional rollercoaster had me hooked from start to finish. This book had me turning pages late into the night because there was no way I was putting it down. If you're a fan of dark romance with mind-bending twists and unforgettable characters, this duet is a must-read. An absolutely addictive and satisfying ending! 🖤📖
OMG!! This was an amazing conclusion to Asher & Ivy's story!! There's so much that happens here, the most on his mind is vengeance & hers? Guilt. I loved it all; they both make some questionable decisions & it hits the mark, though they don't show it or try not to. However, they're both chess pieces on a bigger board & they have a puppet master; you know what they say about "best laid plans;" there's a bigger picture here & when things start coming to light the twists & plots, I did not see coming; justice was served on a few fronts!! The story & the spice were fantastic!! Highly recommend this duet & author!
Oh my, this was everything I hoped it would be and so much more! It picks up right where the first one left off, so we don't miss anything from THAT cliff she left us on in Playhouse. In true Amo fashion, if you think you have it figured out then you're already wrong. The twists keep twisting as Ivy tries to heal, then survive before everything changes up once again. The Asher we meet in this one is the real one, and oh do I love him even more than the first impression. Our cursed lovers take it to a whole new level of hard fought for their hard fought HEA and I loved every second of it because it makes it that much more perfect after the hell they have to get through to get to it.
Ahhhhhh!!! The duet is so captivating and complex! It picks right off where the cliffhanger from playhouse ended so there was no guessing or confusion which I loved. Absolutely floored and so worth the wait. From start to finish I was so engrossed that I didn’t want to put it down. As always Amo’s books will leave your jaw on the floor. The conclusion to Asher and Ivanya’s story is a masterpiece, I cannot get over the storyline. These characters are so good , love that the FMC is such a baddie. You are so not ready for book 2! This is a 6 star read for me and one of the best I’ve read this year 🥹
Thank you so much to Amo Jones for the ARC of Gravehouse! This book was such a wild ride. There were so many moments I wanted to scream at Asher and Ivy to just TALK IT OUT but… Ashvy is stubborn so 😅 this book has the classic Amo mind fuuuu*k that you just don’t see coming. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time reading and tbh, I want MORE. Maybe we can get some side characters stories? I love the world of Veilarath and the world she created here. I fear Asher Delacroix may be taking the top spot in my favorite Amo jones MMC. Because why does he yearn so good, but he’s also still such an asshole 😅
