When Dr. Marjorie schedules an ultrasound for Anna, Cade begins to go into paranoid meltdown. Something must be wrong! He's sure of it.
Seeing his daughter on the computer screen larger than life sets Cade onto a path of foolish, well-meaning choices. In a state of panic, he instigates a series of disastrous projects with the help of Simon, Stefan, and Thomas.
The final disaster lands Cade and Anna stranded on the family's island with Anna in labor and no help in sight.
Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, where every myth and scary story you were ever told is real. A place where the things that go bump in the night, or daytime for that matter, are surprisingly friendly. For the most part.
Take a good look at your neighbor, the person sitting beside you at the bar, or your coworker. Are you sure they’re human?

Nice Read!

I enjoyed this read about the delivery of Cade and Anna's new baby. I really laughed in this one when the men bought baby furniture without Anna and then attempted to put it all together. That was hilarious. Anyway, I think all will enjoy this book, just read it before Lucas book. I would recommend this book.

Another look into the sweet life of Cade and Anna. This book has mystery and adventure known to accompany the eldest LeBeau. There is also some humor. Poor Cade just doesn't know when to give up trying to surprise life!

This spans quite a bit of time. Some of the book before it and more. When Anna is told by the doctor that they would like her to have an ultrasound Cade goes a bit crazy. Once he finds out that everything is okay with Anna and the baby, then what the gender is it finally hits home, he is going to be a dad. He decides he needs to do all this stuff before the baby comes. With the help of Thomas, Stefan, and Simon he puts some plans into motion. Too bad things don’t go the way that he planned. Nothing to bad happens but the things that happens are really funny. The doctor winds up putting Anna on bed rest after the incident with Tim. Anna isn’t very good at being still though. So, the doc recommends some place where there isn’t any internet that will force Anna to still. This book was hilarious. I really felt for Cade. He was just trying to help and be involved as much as a guy can be. I am sure his mistakes will be a lesson learned for all the guys when their mates are pregnant. I love this series and can’t wait to read more books in it. I already have the rest of the available series waiting for me. Fantastic job V.A. Dold. You bring these books to life with a great story line and wonderful characters. I am super sucked into this series.

Oh, dear lord…this is the best one yet in the series! I have been in stitches with tears running down my face almost throughout the whole book! It starts out with Anna at six months pregnant and their first ultrasound. Then, this is where it gets really hilarious! Cade and a few of the brothers and Thomas decide to paint the nursery as a surprise for Anna…complete disaster! After that, they go shopping for the nursery equipment and TRY to put them together…another hilarious escapade gone wrong! Do not even get me started on the cameras! Then the shower, party and Tim coming back into town for the confrontation at the bar. Anna’s blood pressure is sky high so they decide to go to the cabin for a week of rest and relaxation. Well, a huge storm comes in and you guessed it…the baby decides to come…another hilarious fiasco! This is definitely one you will not want to miss because it is so hilarious! I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

Getting monotonous

I was really into this series for the first 4 books, waiting until I got my first dollars to buy each book along the way because I felt I couldn't wait for my next Le Beau fix until the last two books. I'm reading these now in a day. I'm not a fast reader but I feel as if I'm getting shorted dollar per story here. First there is far too much repetition and with each book as the story gets longer and more involved these books are becoming much of nothing except recaps and I'm wondering if I should read the rest of them. I can't decide to not buy the rest because I've already done so. I'm very disappointed right now. More book and far more new story needed.

Awww Cade and Anna and little One

What an awesome book. I could not imagine the pain a husband has to go through but it was funny to read about Cade and contractions. I thinks when he first feels the Braxton hicks I laughed so hard. Cade's over compensating and Anna's frustration of being smothered was adorable for first baby. I know Anna had two previous children but Cade was having his first. I loved this book and it showed the love of Cade and Anna again and really focused on non matter what, love is all you need! I am so happy I still have two books to read left!!!!

A laugh out loud the book!

The Le Beau series is now one of my favorite book series. This book had me laughing out loud! My husband ask me what's so funny? I was laughing so hard I had tears, I couldn't even explain to him what was so funny. I kept picturing my husband's face when I first gave birth to my first child, how he would react if he felt all the pain I did. This book is a work of art, hands down the funniest book I've ever read . I will definitely tell my friends about this book and tell them they should to read it.

This was a great book !
Anna is pregnant, and Cade is going totally DEFCON 5.
There is nothing prepared.
He needs to buy a crib, and what about the baby's room.
Nothing is ready!
What is Cade to do ?
Of course he can't go down the rabbit hole alone!
He totally needs to enlist the help of the rest of the other males in the family.
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Anna prepares for the birth of a daughter but Cade's a worrisome complication. Laugh out loud funny in places but has an element of danger too. I found all the overlap from other books confusing it seemed to make pregnancy last too long. Cade's reaction to contractions was funny - cause we all know men can't handle pain.

Nice story!

This was a great addition to this series. I love that we are offered the chance to extend our visit with this couple and their family! I really enjoyed the light hearted moments as well as the dark moments as you feel your muscles tighten and hang on and read through those action filled sentences waiting to see how this author brings it all together!

Beautiful

It was wonderful to read how Cade took to being a first time dad. Anna had gone through pregnancy & delivery before. It was beautiful how it was pretty much them until almost the end.

A good read

I love follow up stories. Especially when it ends with a precious baby. This story had me laughing so hard. A strong macho man being brought to his knees. I really wish all men could feel the pain of labor.

Nice to catch up

It was nice catching up with Cade and Anna. The birth of their daughter Emma Abigail was the highlight of the book since I read the other parts of the story in the 📖 before this one. I still enjoyed the 📖.

Adorably funny

Take a alpha male shifter, add a pregnant mate, and stir in a loving but slightly crazy family and you get a sweet funny PRN story. I'm so glad the author made this story part of the series.

Cade and Anna

Big bad wolf is a marshmallow for his mate and soon to be born baby girl! I think it's awesome that the male half of the shifter couple gets the WHOLE birth experience😘
Love this series!

Talk about a comedy of errors! I laughed and smiled all the way through at Cade’s antics. He meant well, but has he never heard that ‘women know best’? I absolutely loved this story.

Nice intersection in the series

What a cute story and a great way to join the different books in the series. This story is more of an intersection. The story focuses on the birth of Cade and Annas baby as it also sees the beginning of Lucas and the next day of Stephen and El as well as Thomas and Julia. As for the main story, it was awesome that Cade was able to truly experience, emotionally and physically, Anna's pregnancy and the birth of their child. I enjoyed this interlude in the series and look forward to what happens now that this new Le Beau has arrived.

Good Lord help me, its been ages that a book has had me laughing so hard, that it took my breath away, Cade is now so worried when the Doctor has them in for a ultrasound that the poor man is having a total meltdown.
And the antics do not stop there, not even after he sees his daughter moving in her mothers womb. Now he has all these plans for the the babies room and he is also driving poor Anna crazy.
Seeing them try to paint the baby room is more then a poor human can take and the aftermath trust me you will laugh as hard as I did, then to make amends the man enlists his brothers again to go and furnish said room, and one would think that these smart men would be able to do it, ha you would be wrong.
Many other thins happen that make you laugh, but some that could make you cry, Anna's ex is back and threatening to kill her, thank god the men and their wolves come to the rescue. Now since her blood pressure is up and rest did not do it and at the doctors idea they are on their private island, and guess what a storm is coming and paired with that the sweet baby decides now its as good time as any to make her grand entrance. My favorite part is when Anna has a contraction so doe Cade.
Great story, great reading it and even better characters.

I am not sure how to start this review. I have read each of the books in this series starting with the very first about Cade and Anna. I am back to where I started. For some reason I just cannot bring myself to love these two. They have some playful banter, but most of all they are just lacking fire for me. That being said, I felt there were other issues that led me to a low review for this one as well. The first is that 1/4 of this book was almost an exact replica of Thomas' book, like it was cut and pasted into it to make the novella longer. It felt forced and if you have not read Thomas, there are parts in this that won't make sense. It just was not great filler for this novella. There were characters in this one that are also not explained, they just pop up, and again if you read Thomas you will know them, but if you read this one out of order, you will be left wondering how they fit in. The other thing is that if you have not read Thomas, this story will have spoilers for you on that part of the series. Sad day for me, I love VA, but this one only gets a three fang review.
