Earned her love....
Another Sullivan down by the love bug. Key was just as ruthless as her cousins. Her cousins do not play about her. She should have been someone sister. She is the type to discipline first and ask questions later. However, when it came to baby Jay, her heart was soft as a plush doll. Now, that doesn't mean Mekhi didn't have his work cut out for him. He wanted Key, but he had to earn her. I love the fact that she made him work for her and clean up his current situation in the process. She didn't share, and she meant that. All sharing is not caring. Mekhi figured out where his heart was leading him and took the plunge. Key was there, but she stood on business when it came to her heart but folded with Khi.
Ladies and gents, this was an intriguing read. I do feel like Key and Mehki were just getting started when the book concluded. Although I absolutely love how all the family are included in each installment, it makes the storyline more realistic. I am looking forward to the next installment and hoping Enzo and Thyri finally get to share their story.

I loved Key, she had me crackin up the entire book. Mehki was definitely smooth and could go toe-to-toe with Key, which is what she needed. I'm not mad at how it ended, but of course, I would have liked to see them navigate some type of relationship, at least a couple of chapters of them together. I still enjoyed the book and can't wait for the next one in the series. Also, if you know who it's about, y'all can let me know, lol.

The Key to His Soul by Nai reminded me that some of the best love stories aren’t about changing someone, they’re about meeting the right person at the right stage in life.
Going into this book, I expected chemistry, banter, and spice, and Nai absolutely delivered on all three. But what I wasn’t expecting was how much I would appreciate the conversations between Mehki and Key. Their relationship wasn’t built on instant attraction alone. It was built on accountability, self-awareness, and challenging each other to think beyond the lives they had carefully created for themselves.
Key was such a refreshing heroine. She knew exactly who she was, refused to lower her standards, and never made herself smaller to fit into someone else’s idea of love. I loved that she understood the difference between wanting a relationship and needing one. She had already built a full life for herself, and that confidence showed in every interaction.
Then there’s Mehki. Watching him question beliefs he’d held onto for years was one of my favorite parts of the story. His growth didn’t happen overnight, and that’s what made it feel so believable. He had to confront what he thought would make him happy versus what actually brought him peace. That journey made their romance feel earned instead of convenient.
Nai balanced humor, emotional depth, and spice so effortlessly. One minute I was laughing, the next I was highlighting a conversation because it hit home. The discussions about wants versus needs, emotional safety, consideration, and choosing a partner who complements your life instead of completing it really resonated with me. Those moments added so much depth to the romance and made this story about more than just falling in love.
If you’re looking for a romance with mature characters, meaningful dialogue, undeniable chemistry, and a love story that grows from mutual respect as much as attraction, I highly recommend picking this one up. The Key to His Soul is a beautiful reminder that the strongest relationships don’t ask you to become someone else. They challenge you to become the best version of yourself. Nai gave us a romance that was sexy, intentional, heartfelt, and full of substance, and I loved every minute of it.

IKYFL! Another entry in the Sullivan’s series that seems completely unfinished. Where do I even begin? I do NOT like reading books where either the fmc or the mmc is having more on page 🌶️ with other people than they are together. And I don’t care that it’s poly, we didn’t need several pages and chapters of him being intimate with his sister wives. And 1 oral, or full, boring spice scene with the fmc. Mind you, the book is only 200 pages. I can’t even call this a slow burn cause the fire never really took off. It’s like an incense type slow burn with no real conclusion.
Speaking of.. then it just ends abruptly, I mean they had decent banter but nothing I read would make a man just give up his two girlfriends like that. We needed to see more of their situation develop more.
This is a 1.5 ⭐️ for me. The extra half star is for her standing her ground and not becoming his 3rd gf. New to me author the trigger warning said insta love but it gave insta friends to lovers which I enjoyed. I was entertained by both MC. The sex scenes were so descriptive and nasty just how I like it. It was fast paced but not leaving you wanting more.

I love Key! She really is a boss and needed a boss. I side eyed Mekhi for a while because sir fix that home situation. He was real smooth though.

I wanted so much more from Key’s book! I think because I saw the connection between her & Mehki from the jump the fact that they took to long to somewhat get together threw me off. Key & Mehki met at a club & instantly connected from each other’s vibe but with both of them living different lives I didn’t think it would work. Mehki being in a poly relationship & Key just dodging commitment .
But I liked how the author put everything together. We got to witness Mehki actually sitting down talking to his parents about what Key asked him because he always saw life one way instead of another. Key explaining why she runs from commitment because she scared to get disappointment resonated with me so much.
I was rooting for Mehki & Julissa to still be friends because she was so supportive of him & chilled compared to Karima. I’m just glad they didn’t let Key give into that whole “poly relationship” because my girl was bigger than that! As she said she got 7 personalities a niggah don’t need no other girl, period!

Sullivan Family I love them
Let me just say, usually when I read a series, the main characters are men whether they're brothers, cousins, friends, or part of the crew. Not this time. Book 4 of the Sullivan series shines the spotlight on Kyiris "Key" Sullivan, and baby... she did not disappoint.
Key is strong, independent, and knows exactly what she wants. More importantly, she refuses to settle for anything or anybody that isn't worth her time. That's one thing I loved about her from the jump.
The book starts off with Key getting ready for a date when Tobias, the man she's supposed to be meeting, calls at the last minute to say he's running late. In true Key fashion, she's basically like, "No worries," and decides to link up with her girls instead. And that's where she crosses paths with Mehki, better known as Khi.
The chemistry between them is instant, but there's one problem. Khi is living a whole different lifestyle, juggling not one but two women. Of course, Key isn't impressed because she already knows that's not what she wants. Still, the more time they spend around each other, the harder it becomes to ignore their connection.
Khi is used to getting any woman he wants, so in his mind, Key is just another challenge. Meanwhile, Key has plenty of men trying to get her attention, but she can't help comparing them to Khi. At the same time, Khi is trying to keep his women happy, but somehow Key stays on his mind.
Now that's all I'm giving y'all because I'm not about to spoil the story. Just know the beginning had me ready to write Mehki all the way off. But just like he slowly grew on Key he ended up growing on me too.
If you've been following the Sullivan series, this is definitely one you don't want to skip.

Author Nai really knows how to tell a story. This whole Sullivan series has been fire, and Book 4 kept that same energy. As I stated before I liked that this book centered around Key. Most urban fiction series focus on the men, so getting a strong female lead was a nice change and had me ready to jump right in.
The writing was smooth, easy to follow, and flowed from beginning to end. There weren't any spelling or grammar issues that took me out of the story, and I liked how Nai brought characters from the earlier books back into the mix without making it feel forced.
This book had a little bit of everything. There were moments that had me laughing, scenes that pulled at my heart especially the ones involving Key and her father and enough love, tension, and excitement to keep me stuck . I also appreciated that the story didn't drag. Nai got straight to the point without adding a bunch of unnecessary filler or drama just to stretch the story out.
The chemistry between Key and Khi felt real. It wasn't forced, Sometimes a good story doesn't need constant chaos to keep your attention, and this book proved exactly that.
Rating: Say It Loud / Hush Lil Baby — Say it Loud
Even though this wasn't a long book, it still had some moments that really stuck with me. One thing I loved was seeing how close the Sullivan family is. No matter what was going on, they showed up for each other, and you could really feel that family bond throughout the story.
I also liked how Key had her own relationship with each member of the family and their spouses. And seeing her make time for Baby Jay, who has autism, showed another side of her character.
One of the biggest standouts for me was getting a glimpse into Key's relationship with her father as he battles Alzheimer's. Those scenes were emotional, and they helped explain why she looks at love and commitment the way she does. Watching her mother continue to love and stand by her father through his worst days made it easy to understand where Key gets her standards and beliefs about relationships. It reminds you that the way we're raised and the love we see growing up can shape how we love as adults
If you've been following the Sullivan series, you already know Nai doesn't miss. And if you haven't started it yet what are you waiting for?

I was soo ready to jump into Kyiris’ book because I loved her so much in the previous books but this one fell a bit flat for me unfortunately.
I wish more time was spent developing Kyiris and Mekhi’s relationship than us reading about Mekhi’s relationships with the other ladies. I didn’t mind the poly relationship being added in because I know it was an important part of Mekhi’s arc but I just didn’t think a lot of those scenes were necessary. To be quite honest there was no reason for those spicy scenes with Mekhi, Karima, and Ju because it did nothing to move the plot along.
I did loveeee Kyiris and Mekhi’s banter and their chemistry was really really good but I wish we could have gotten way more from them. It would’ve felt way better seeing them get together in the end of the book had they spent more time together and got to know each other a little more. I know that the entire series has been basically insta love but in the other books I feel like Nai took more time developing the relationship between the characters and she dropped the ball in this one. And then for them to make their relationship official in literally the last 2 pages was so disappointing. After reading all of that we deserved more; An epilogue would’ve been great.

The Key to Mehki❤️🌶️
My girl Key ate Mehki little tale up in this book. She was to non-stoppable, unfiltered, and unmatched for poor Mehki to handle. She put him through it with just her words and her character. Key was a boss in her own right, and I especially loved how she loved on baby Jay. Key had me cracking up this entire book, Mehki, yeah, I gotta give him his credit because he was definitely smooth in his won right and of course he could (and did) go toe to toe with Key. Thats really why their relationship was so much fun and interesting.
When Key found out that Mehki was in a poly relationship, she didn’t judge him or look at him differently. She just let him exist in her world and kept him on his toes. Key didn’t try and change him, she challenged him and by doing that she made him realize that having multiple women was not as good as having one woman with multiple personalities.

Key & Khi kept me skinnin & grinnin!
Kyiris is my girl & she done finally met her match. Mehki, I mean Dada, was cool, calm & confident. The flirting & banter was like ping pong. Every time one of them said something slick, the other was serving it right back! I am legit obsessed with these two. I could’ve read ten more chapters from them. lol

I needed at LEAST 100 more pages. Or Amil or Taylin book next 👀🥹🫶🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽😏. Okay okay, lol. You know I’ve been waiting her book since book one finished, and you did not disappoint. I loved the dynamic of him and his parent’s relationship. I also loved that nothing was rushed with them getting together, officially. They both respected what the other had going on. love the sullivans. dont love the abrupt endings.
I generally enjoy the Sullivan family books. The characters are funny, loving and have big personalities. And reading the conversations amongst them and seeing their closeness is typically the highlight of the book - it was no different for this one. The climax and ending were just so abrupt! We dont even actually see them as a couple so it left me a little unsatisfied. The storyline was great and engaging until the ending.

So enjoyed this series. Loved,loved,loved the straight to the business admissions of feelings between these crazy couples. Key finding Khi was right on time. Her cousins giving their stamp of approval without hesitating to say any hurtful moves on Khi's part towards,Key would simply be his ending. Loved the Sullivan family's love for each other. Like the others, this book was,quite enjoyable too.

Another Sullivan experience that did not disappoint…I loved how Key didn’t sacrifice herself for Mekhi and his poly lifestyle…She set her boundaries and left it at that not matter how she may have felt about him…I loved how he was honest from the start with all of the ladies and he left it up to them whether or not they wanted to deal with him…All and all Key was most definitely the Key to his soul!!

I love me some Key
I loved this book so much. I love Key and I’m glad Khi got it together because the way I would have been upset had he fumbled Key omg. I liked Juju she was real chill and laid back with it but that other one Kamira or whatever her name was just did the most. I’m glad Khi figured out his needs were more important than his wants.

You Never Know What You Need Until You Get It!
Nai, you always give us some good stuff. I so enjoyed the extra feelings😉 It was funny watching a woman be as open as a man. And a man to be as truthful to his situation. Those Sullivan's are a group and I'm here for each one of them🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

When I think about Key & what her book would look like I never would’ve thought of this particular storyline but this storyline shows Key being a boss bitch that remains true to herself through it all. I loved that she got what she needed from Mekhi but didn’t bend to his lifestyle. Of course I want more but this was good.

This is probably one of my favorite series of the year. I loved Key in this book, she’s so confident and Mehki definitely matched her energy. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because it felt like it ended in the middle of their story. I’m excited to see more of them in the series. Hopefully Amil’s book is next

I enjoyed this read. What I like the most was that Mehki was up front since the beginning and he gave Key the chance to accept it or move on. The fact that she won him over by just being herself was what I loved and he let what he thought he wanted go. Those two were meant for each other.

I really enjoyed this series this book is my favorite the witty banter between Mekhi and Kyiris is funny I liked how the author was all about honesty in dating if we not exclusive don’t be mad when you see me with someone else just move around…love it can’t wait for next book in the series

I need MORE!!!!! I have read all the books but this one i wanted to read more on the couple. I love that Key knew what she wanted and was not letting up on her standards no matter what. And Khi or DaDa lol made sure he stood on it all. I wanna see how he meshes with the family now that they are dating knowing the boys don’t play bout Key.

I liked this book, I do, mostly for Key, she is definitely the star of the show. The only thing that threw me off was him & the multiple women. Especially the sex & no protection. That was my biggest, WTF moment in the book. He was being too irresponsible. But I liked that he looked in. Now I need MOREEEEE!!!!!!!

The connection between Key and Khi was clear, but the amount of bodily fluid exchanged between 4 people was a no for me. Like, Key didn't even ask for the mychart and protection was never a thought.
The ending was too abrupt for me, the story felt unfinished.

Key got her a man. Next up Amil!!! I like Maverick for her. This was the perfect follow up for the Sullivan crew. Got to see a little of Pryce, Enzo, Aura, and the girls. This was fast paced, but I’m here for it all. Ready for the next book.
