You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Sometimes the wrong text is just the right text Zoya a librarian enjoys her job on most days but loves when one much older man comes in everyday stopping her day sending her nervous system into overdrive, and yet he always appears calm, collected, put together while she on the other hand is going crazy inside. Ruslan sexy as all get out Pakhan isn’t a man you want on your radar but also isn’t sure who he can trust, he is dangerous, ruthless on a good day yet deadly every day, when he sees something or someone he wants well he takes and his pretty little librarian has captured his undivided attention in the best way. The magnetic pull is there the moment he starts to visit the library and the more they dance around it the stronger the pull it would have stayed that way until she texted him while drunk and we all know that doesn’t go very well ….I mean in her case it sort of kind of did because it got her his undivided attention allowing them one night but when he disappears leaving her to wonder with so many questions, with two special little girls that look like him, but when he shows up years later what will he feel when he sees his two little ones, will he accept them, coming back bring danger to them will she agree to his protection, and can they find happiness with their second chance family?

Sexting the Pakhan by Liz Archer was such a fun, over-the-top mafia romance! It starts with an accidental sext, but things escalate quickly when the mystery man turns out to be a powerful Bratva Pakhan. From there, the chemistry is instant, the tension never lets up, and the story is packed with drama, possessive hero vibes, and plenty of spicy moments.

I really enjoyed the connection between the main characters. The banter was fun, the attraction felt believable, and I loved watching them go from a steamy mistake to something much deeper. The mafia element added just enough danger without completely overshadowing the romance.

If you're looking for a fast-paced, age-gap mafia romance with a protective silver fox hero, lots of steam, and a guaranteed happily ever after, this one is definitely worth picking up. Liz Archer knows how to write addictive romances that are impossible to put down!

Part of the "Forbidden Silver Foxes" series. When Ruslan Karelin starts coming into the quiet library where Zoya Hart works, everyone notices - especially Zoya. He big and gorgeous and definitely dangerous. Her friend Karina notices the attention and declares that Zoya needs to be braver. She drags her out to a wine bar and insists that Zoya text a random number and initiate a conversation. She even enters the supposedly computer generated number into Zoya's phone. The person at the other end start texting back. When bullets start flying around the shelves on a Tuesday, Ruslan grabs Zoya and drags her to safety. He takes her to a safe house until the threat ends. Six years later, fate causes them to meet again. Perhaps fate had a strange sense of humour all along.

Interesting story. Zoya has a crush on Ruslan and on a dare her best friend has her sext a unknown number. They create a connection not knowing who each other is. When Rusland brings danger to the library he takes Zoya to his home for protection. She stays long enough for them to act on their attraction before he says it is safe to leave. She leaves knowing that she is pregnant. She uses the unknown number during the pregnancy and after the twins are born. Ruslan will bring danger to her family when he is betrayed and Zoya saves him. This book is full of drama, danger, mixed emotions, and has a happy ending. I enjoyed reading this book.

Another amazing book from Liz Archer, her writing never disappoints.
I totally enjoyed reading this dark and dangerous mafia romance, it is hot and steamy, it has secrets and danger, enemies that will stop at nothing and one man who will destroy them all for what is his.
There is just about everything in this brilliant story to have you gripped to it from the start and keep you hooked until the very end.
Well written and easy to read, if you enjoy romance and danger then you too will love this book.

The story of Ruslan and Oya holds your attention. Their journey together began turbulently during an attack planned on Ruslan at the library where she worked. After he sent her away for her own safety, she didn't know he was sending away more than just her, because she was expecting his children. Years later, they reunited after another attempt on his life while he was at the school of his two daughters, Nadia and Mila. I enjoyed their journey and how, after everything they have been through and endured, they find happiness together.

They’re together for a short time after an attempt on his life in the library she works in brings them together. Once the threat was contained he sent her away, not knowing she was carrying his children. Twins. Mila and Nadia. They are brought back together 6 years later after he’s shot by a rival in her daughters elementary school lot.

Their path begins with an anonymous text that leads to an intimate encounter. Zoya had no idea that her anonymous texter was also Rusian the man that came to the library to get books. Their journey is filled with tumultuous twists and turns that had me all caught up in transformation of their relationship and how they finally get their chance for happiness. It is an action-packed story that is descriptive, well written along with colorful characters I enjoyed reading about.

And when he comes in on a different day she gets shy until bullets start flying. He gets her out and to safety but with it comes the knowledge that he isinvolved in something dangerous.

An enjoyable mafia-lite spicy romance. A shy librarian finds herself caught up in a mafia shooting and is whisked away. Years later her and her children meet the pakhan again. The children Nadia and Mila were well written with distinct personalities that really added to the dynamic of the book. There was an unexpected twist at the end and texting was spicy. So an enjoyable, quick and easy read.

It was witty, the spice delivered, and the romance kept me hooked. There was a happy ending, which I always love, but I do wish there had been a little more to it. Everything wrapped up a bit too quickly, and I would've loved a few more chapters with the characters before it ended.

Ruslan and Zoya’s love story was complicated yet sweet. The girls were hilarious and I enjoyed the bit of suspense from the mafia parts in the book. If you like mafia, secret children, and second chances this is a book for you!.

One of the most boring books ever. Zoya is dull and repetitive. Ruslan is unemotional and boring.

The true gifts are the twin daughters and the best friend mostly the former. That is not which should be the most exciting in a romance.

The whole Karina subplot wasn’t really a put and made no sense. The twist at the end was surprising but also made no sense and wasn’t clearly articulated.

I loved the intensity and journey Ruslan and Zoya take you on as well as their chemistry. This is a hot romance read with a HEA. I found this book to be the kind of story you read in one sitting even if it means staying up way past your bedtime. The characters, their story and romance is addictive.

First… the MMC is wonderfully written. The love story of library and Mafia boss is really enjoyable. This is a fast paced read. I did take time to figure out the mafia side of the story. I will read another story by Liz Archer to give it a fair chance
