New from Felice Fox's Bestselling Cameron Ranch Series... DARK LASHES (Abel's Story)
When Talia Iverson’s never-ending search for love takes a desperate turn, she skips out on her Hollywood starlet clientele hoping to disappear on her uncle’s ranch in western Montana. Training livestock guard dogs seems the perfect diversion—protect the wolf pack living on Iverson Ranch, and her uncle’s cattle. But when a son of their neighboring ranch suspiciously offers to help her track and ID the wolf pack, Talia discovers what it really means to tangle with a predator.
Rancher Abel Cameron is the most dangerous kind of bad boy—when he’s wicked, he means it. Convinced the shared, open relationship he’s in is the only kind that will tolerate his dark sexual needs, Abel knows he won’t ever be the primary man in any woman’s life. But when Talia Iverson shows up to protect the wolf pack denned up on his neighbor’s ranch, he sees her for who she is—a lost soul who could break open his cold, jammed up heart. And he’s just reckless enough to show her how to do it.
Felice Fox almost certainly time-traveled during a feverish bout with The Kissing Disease.
She began writing professionally in 2001 and is a bestselling author in the non-fiction market under another name. Her work appears in online learning courses and many popular websites too. Take Me for Longing, the first novella in the American Heartstrings Series, is Felice’s fiction debut.
Felice is a graduate of McGill University. She works, loves and listens to bluegrass music in Los Angeles, California.
Felice Fox's CAMERON RANCH series keeps getting better!
In her eagerness to find love, Talia relinquishes her power to any guy who gives her the time of day; Abel takes what he wants to fill his deep-seated feelings of unworthiness. The emotionally raw relationship between Talia and Abel is beautiful and thoroughly engaging.
As is her hallmark, Fox's wonderfully detailed sex scenes are deeply intimate and simply delicious.
The story of Abel and Talia. Abel is a rancher in Montana where Talia is from. Talia is a dog trainer. When the story begins, Talia is in Hollywood, training dogs for celebrities. It soon becomes clear that Talia falls in love with men at first site, practically having them married and popping out their babies before they speak a word to each other. This pattern gets her in trouble, and her cousin back in Montana - with whom she talks on the phone on a regular basis - convinces her that she should return to Montana and forget this guy craze. When we meet Abel, he is very dark and tortured, and his reason for that becomes clear as the story goes on. I don't typically read BDSM, and had no real clue that's what I was going to get when I began the book. That wasn't my main issue though - as especially the first sex scene was blazing hot! I have the 'to each his own' mentality, but this brothers share the one brother's wife whenever they want was NOT my thing! I was happy that things on that front ended differently for this couple. I did feel as though I was on a yo-yo ride though of bi-polar personalities. I could understand this from Abel, but I did not get Talia's at all. She's happy go lucky "valley girl" type at the beginning, and then she's a dom. It just did not match up for me. A lot of the part of the wolves hunting story also did not make a lot of sense to me. I also did not like the resolution of Abel's birth-father storyline (or perhaps the author is leaving it open for the future?). Erotic sex scenes = hot! Storyline and characters = needs some work. That's why I am giving the story a 3.5 Stars. Romance Readers received this book during the blog tour in exchange for an honest review.

Super is the best word I can think of for this book. It's sexy and so heartwarming. Abel is the Cameron brother that had a dark side. He struggles with his inner self everyday. He has no self-worth. Talia is living in Hollywood and struggles with always finding Mr. Wrong but not being able to say no to thinking they all just Might be her Mr. Right.
Ms. Fox tells us this story in a way that will grip you and have you feeling both their inner struggles and Feeling their needs. Awesome book. 2 Thumbs Up!!
