Who needs a [Holy Crusader] class when you've got [Homestead Farmer]?
For decades, Arthur was the shield of the world. He reached the absolute pinnacle of the System as a max-level healer mage, help win cosmic wars, and was promptly betrayed by the nobles and heroes who feared his ever growing power.
But instead of dying, Arthur's divine blood made the system glitched, regressing him to Level 1. Given a rare chance to select a new path, he didn't hesitate. He bypassed every legendary class and picked [Homestead Farmer].
He retired to the untamed, mana-rich Wilds to do what he's always build a self-sufficient haven.
Because of his unstoppable, maxed-out hidden stats, his homesteading is completely broken. His basic healing magic is so potent it purifies dead soil instantly, turning withered dirt into hyper-fertile earth. His basic wood-crafting skill produces furniture infused with magical regeneration buffs.
Soon, the sapient denizens of the forest, cute animals, lost adventurers, and wandering spirits begin gathering at his peaceful valley, drawn to the safest, warmest hearth in the world.
The local lords want to claim his miraculous land. The dangerous monsters want a piece of his harvest. Arthur just wants to finish building his house. But if he has to beat a raiding party over the head with a master-crafted shovel to keep his peace, he'll do it before his morning chores.
Because the man who can heal anything, knows exactly how to break it.

2.0 to 2.5 stars but I rounded up for the book's celebration of beauty and the enjoyment of everyday pleasures. Still, like at least two others of his series, this is a story of an overpowered hero--a healer this time--who wants to escape and become "normal," this time as a homestead farmer in the Wilds, where no humans can survive. But there are too few characters; the novel is very short; and the plot has barely begun once he meets a water elf who is in danger from a "shadow king," and then the novel ends. It feels like we have just begun chapter three. The author has some promise in creating good characters, but needs to better populate his or her novels and deepen the plots.
Everything was too wordy almost every chapter was filled with unnecessary words. The writing was not something I like it was not personal something like telling a story could not get into the story.
Great when you're looking for a cozy novella! This is Arthur's story! An Archealer who's tired and ready to throw in the towel, ready to die. Only the system has other plans. Arthur is Reborn, in the same city where he originally was born and received his class. This time instead of choosing the legendary class Arthur chose a common Farmer class. Then headed out to the Wild Woods... at this point the book is very similar to Homestead Crafter a series I really love. But again the book deviates when Roswell is introduced!
I started and finished this book in about three hours. There are moments where it appears that English is not the author's primary language, so that might pull you from the story as you mentally edit the sentences.
The character is extremely overpowered and able to draw on knowledge and experience from his past life.
Nothing really happens for most of the book, unless you count this as a literary version of HGTV.
And this book ended right when it starts to get really interesting. There were a few places where there are inconsistencies that probably came from the author stepping away for a while and then not reading the work all at once when finished - pretty inconsequential stuff, like the number of rooms the cabin has - but I like the characters and I’m going to go get book two right now.
I did enjoy the story, it's quite pleasant and an easy, enjoyable read. It is a little wordy and the descriptions get a bit repetitive and over hyped. But it doesn't detract from the story, the issue is I felt myself inclined to skip over paragraphs to just get on with it.
Not sure how to describe this-the ending threw me off. I found the entire story captivating and have only praise for the writer’s skill and ingenuity. The next book is absolutely next, I have to figure this out…..
I’m excited about this new author! This book has a fresh and creative plot. The characters have depth. The writing is beautiful…it creates a world which invites you in and you’ll never want to leave. Very much looking forward to book 2!
This was a pretty good for such a short read. The premise was and beginning was good. It just ended at the point of just becoming really interesting, and there was a few grammatical spelling errors.
I recently started reading this genre of books. I do not have a background in this type of gaming. My son who does was surprised I’m reading this. I enjoyed it a lot. The main character and world are really well done. I hope you enjoy it too!
A guy who spent years healing gets too powerful and is murdered so he doesn’t upset the balance of power.
So he goes back in time, awakens in his 16 year old body…keeps his max level stats and then wanders into the wilderness to be left alone and do some carpentry.
Along the same lines as the other series, but good. Repetitive phrases were annoying and distracting, but the Hero is likable and the story is good. A nice, easy read.
Interesting premise, I enjoyed reading this book although the windows he made seem to need more detail. Seemed to be a short book, I was just getting into it when it ended. Hope more books are coming.
Un primer volumen un poco aburrido para mi gusto, lo único emocionante fue la lucha con el demonio del elemento oscuro que duró muy poco, la novela tiene potencial así lo deja entrever el epílogo, espero que mejore en los siguientes volúmenes.
This is a nice cozy little read of a man that has gone so far beyond what he wants in order to become something the world needs. Now he just wants to build something with his own hands... and rest. If only the world would listen to what we want.
This story is so well written that it carries you along through page after page. Complex characters, tight story lines and prose that actually made me smile. Read it you won’t be disappointed.
This book dragged and was overly descriptive. I was only just get to the MC finding a place to break ground and it was like pulling teeth to even get there. Other than waking up alive, nothing happened!
I truly enjoyed reading this book looking forward to reading book 2- simple to understand and great characters- looking forward to seeing main character growth
under the impression that this was a novel. Turned out to be a very short novella. Premise was good but the thing ended when the real writing started. Whatever. Not my cup of tea.
