A hidden human. A captive alien warrior. A dangerous attraction.
Amy survived being abducted from Earth by becoming invisible. She conceals the fact that she’s human, keeps her head down, and never takes unnecessary risks.
Until she is ordered to bring food to a huge, chained alien warrior who refuses to speak.
She should be terrified of the massive male. Instead, she finds herself intrigued by the secrets in those silver eyes—and the promise of protection in that powerful body.
Brannik has his own reasons for remaining a captive. But when Amy’s secret is discovered, nothing matters more than protecting the tempting little human who has somehow become his.
Because the one thing more dangerous than a captive warrior is a captive warrior with someone to protect.
This sweet and spicy sci-fi romance features a hidden human, a dangerous captive warrior, forced proximity, caretaking, touch her and 💀, a fiercely protective hero, and a guaranteed HEA.
We're back with the human abductees (which makes it sound like it's a group of human ladies hanging out together, but no, these are human ladies who have been taken from Earth and are basically on their own until they find the person who sees them as more than just a sellable commodity) and Amy has been staying as safe as she can by hiding in plain sight. Meaning, she pretends to be a young-ish male, works the jobs she's sent in to do, and does everything she can to keep attention off herself.
Then she's sent to deliver food to a prisoner and she finds a male who is a lot like her. Not on paper, but Brannik knows his size and strength can be terrifying, so he takes pains to make himself as small as he can. He plays the part of a dumb brute so his captors underestimate him, but Amy sees the awareness behind his looks. When things take a turn (those darn Grorn priests are NOT good people), Brannik does what he needs to do to keep Amy safe.
But the Grorn are still looking for Keys to open the Vault and Brannik holds a clue to what they want. Brannik and Amy have to figure out how to throw the Grorn off their trail while keeping a vulnerable group of individuals safe. Oh, and they REALLY don't want to be captured doing it.
A nasty prison, a ghost town, family, survivors in hiding, a silent warrior who will absolutely burn down the world to keep his special someone safe, and a lady who is far stronger than she gives herself credit for. *thumbs up*
This is definitely a case of wanting something so bad you will do anything for it. Brannik is allowing himself to be held captive to learn what he needs to about his mother who left when he was eleven. He is willing to be locked up in a nasty dungeon and beaten to find out what they know. He isn't ready for the kitchen helper though. Amy is in hiding from the aliens her owner feeds. She has been abducted and almost dies because she got sick. If it wasn't for Pelloq taking a chance on even a few weeks worth of help she would have had a worse life then she has. When the chance comes after an act of kindness and a spark ignites they escape together. The hunt is on and they will need to work together and trust each other to find a home where they can be themselves and happy
This is one of the best booms in both series. I absolutely love Brannik a huge terrifying warrior with a guarded heart looking for someone to hold it and keep it. Amy a human female who has had to make herself disappear and remain disguised in order to stay safe Mina universe of aliens who are not always .kind. Both captives of their circumstances who recognize a kindred soul when their eye meet. Amy has spent 4 years being invisible disappearing, before she can be noticed its the only way for a human female in the greater universe to stay safe. Until she's sent to feed the prisoner in the cells one look and she knows he's not what they spray he is. He not a mindless beast he is Patience personified. He's waiting for something and soon he'll wait no longer. Brannik has been searching for his Aurelian mother and Taori father for 25 years when he was 11 his mother left and 6 months later his father left roofing her and neither came back. He been searching for them ever since. A lead took him to a small backwater port and he got caught. Now he is biding his time o see if he can find answers to his questions. He says nothing just acts like he's lost his mind until they send someone with food. Someone who smells female but is dress as a boy. So done avoiding attention. She sees him really sees him his act does not Rook her.and as days pass she's speaks to him and tries to help him. She captures his heart one day at a time. Some answers come and danger follows both Amy and Brannik must rely in each other and flee the post before the danger rounds them and his chance for answers dies. This arc with the Aurelian civilization and the artifacts is really intriguing a little more is revealed in each book but with ever answer their is more questions. I love Brannik and Amy their chemistry was perfect and their love beautiful to watch unfold. Highly recommend💖🌟🔥🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥🌟💖🔥🌟🌟🔥💖🌟🔥🌟🔥🌟🔥🌟💖🌟🔥💖🔥🌟
I really liked Brannik; he's spent so long chasing answers about his tragic past that he's stopped expecting anything good for himself—until Amy. He is the strong, silent type of MMC that falls hard and becomes completely devoted, putting her before everything else. He values and respects her in a way that is completely heartwarming.
Amy is a survivor. She is resilient, sharp, and clever enough to do what she has to do to make it through each day, and that same resourcefulness is what lets her look past the fear everyone else feels around Brannik. She offers him real care and kindness. She is patient in a way that breaks through his walls without asking him to be anything other than what he is. She sees him, not the creature everyone else is too afraid of to get near.
I really enjoyed the mystery of Brannik's story and his search for answers about his parents' disappearance and the pain he carries from being left behind. It gives his character so much depth beyond the silent, brooding exterior. I loved how easily Amy chooses to help him find those answers; she doesn't hesitate to make his quest her own. They make a great team as much as a great couple. Their story is more than their quest; they are two people who overcome the hardships the universe has thrown at them to find the safety and belonging they never thought they would have at each other's side.

“…The Tuori loved the way they fought—with everything they were.”
Amy is a human slave, concealing her gender and her species by living in plain sight as a kitchen boy. All she has to do is go through life forgotten, unseen, without drawing notice from anyone who might realize she’s a prize worth capturing and selling.
Brannick is imprisoned, chained up like a beast and perfectly willing to live down to his captors expectations. The time will come for the truth to surprise them, but first he’s going to get what he came for.
This done in one kindle unlimited book stands solidly on its own, using the story of one family to help us see how thousands are living in this universe. The Grorn priests are determined to get the 7 keys needed to open the vault— no one knows for sure what it contains, but after seeing the Grorn in action it is easy to guess who we are rooting for, and against.
Looking forward to the next book in the series, as each book expands our knowledge of the universe and helps us get a step closer to the vault and its mysteries. This one had some fun moments, a truly charming relationship between the lead characters, and a beautiful understanding of how painful it can be to simply want something, even something small, and feel as though the universe is against you.
How can each book in the series get better and better? Honey Phillips is a genius storyteller.
Brannik’s mother abandoned him when he was 11 - or so he thinks. He has been looking for her for so long, chasing every lead. It consumes his life. He has been captured to get the information he wants.
Amy, a female human in disguise and a slave, is forced to take his food to him as everybody is scared of Brannik the beast.
Since the very first time they meet, they start forming a bond nobody can break. They can see through their protective disguises since the very first second they set their eyes on each other.
Despite his appearance, he is the most gentle alien who swears to protect and take care of Amy - a true cinnamon roll. Amy, a strong FMC, a survivor who makes the best of what she has and did not expect to find a friend, yet love at all.
The slow burn, the teasing, their chemistry, the respect for each other, the building of the story - an unbeatable book you cannot drop from beginning to end
Must read.

This was such a fun and different alien romance. The pairing between the human heroine and the alien hero works particularly well because they couldn't be more different. He is the quiet, reserved type, while she is incredibly bubbly and talks a lot. Their interactions are genuinely entertaining, and I really enjoyed watching them figure each other out.
The story also has plenty going on beyond the romance. There is tension, reunions, danger, and enough twists to keep things moving. I particularly liked that the heroine isn't simply waiting for someone else to save her—she actually manages to outwit their enemies herself, which made her a very enjoyable character to follow.
Overall, I really enjoyed this one. The unusual character dynamic, the interesting storyline, and the strong heroine made it a refreshing alien romance that stood out from the more predictable ones.
This was an absolutely amazing story !!! Brannik has allowed himself to be captured. So that he could know what the higher ups know. What they know about the Aurelian technology. And , just maybe , what happened to his parents. He has been searching for a Long time. Amy is a female disguised as a boy . A boy who delivers food to the jail . On this particular day , Amy is told to take a bowl of stew down into the depths of the jail. To feed a very large prisoner. He was shackled and beat up. Looked a terrible mess. She felt sorry for him. He was treated like a dumb animal. She felt the injustice, but what could she do ?? As the story moves along , it turns out , that she can do a lot.!! This story was a very sweet , story of how what you see , isn't always what you get !! There is action , and adventure , as well as a few mysteries to solve , and I am here for every word !!!
Another enjoyable steamy alien romance by Honey Phillips. Honestly, when I saw the title, I assumed (wrongly) that the female would be the captive & it would be a Stockholm syndrome situation. That was not the story at all. Amy was abducted from Earth & had learned to survive, after escaping her captors, by making herself as small as possible. Brannik is a huge alien with mixed blood that the Grorn thought would be useful to them. Brannik is smart & controlled. He has been searching for his parents for 25 years and is the closest he’s ever been when Amy brings him food while he is held captive. Amy changes his focus. He falls for her as she cares for him. She is drawn to his quiet strength and self-control. They escape together and, of course, get a HEA.

If you like the strong silent type then this story is for you. Brannik is a man of mystery and patient to a fault. His overall persona is admirable, his gruffness softened by the hand that feeds him.
This is an emotional read from start to finish. Brannik maybe a loner but his interactions with Amy changes his perspective. Amy has hidden herself away to protect her very being and finds herself befriending this gruff beast.
I must admit that I was rooting for a particular outcome and Honey did not disappoint. Branniks species is Tuori and the way they love and protect is soulful, passionate and alluring.
This story is detailed and the worldbuilding unimaginable. Beautiful and captivating as always 💜🔥.

I loved reading the story. The flow was excellent, Worldbuilding phenomenal . And of course with all of the books in this series the perfect HEA. I really liked both Amy and Brannik. They do fit together well. We are introduced to him in B is for Bonded, Njkall and Polly's story. I loved how Amy uses her skill of being unnoticed as a waspon to fight the enemy. And even when she was afraid she steps forward, even for a prisoner who everyone thought was a mindless beast. Brannik has been looking for answers about his past for twenty-five years . What he finds is not at all what he expected. I love how he realizes the truths. Action packed, and a splash of humor. Steam to the eventual romance. I liked that when no was used it did mean stop. Which they both did. It will be intersting what D brings. When you find that home is being together and life is more than just surviving ❤️
Totally sigh-worthy, my heart felt so full read when the MMC is a total silent type cinnamon roll and the FMC learns that real life means you can be seen. Amy, a human who was abducted and sold, is working in a kitchen disguised as a boy for safety. When she has to deliver food to a Tuori/Aurelian prisoner, Brannik, little did either know the amount of danger they would encounter from the Grorn who are still collecting “keys” for The Vault. Action-packed with found family and steam, this is my favorite so far in the series 🥰.

Yes, I started with the third book in the series because I have a weakness for this trope, where the FMC takes care of the big, scary prisoner and they fall in love.
Brannik was the definition of big, silent, scary and brooding. But he was also so sweet and his story so sad. I really liked Amy and her surprising humour. She had her moments of doubt and weakness, but she turned out to be a strong, confident FMC.
I can't really give this 4 full stars because something was missing. It didn't click all the way for me even though I enjoyed many of the book's aspects and situations.
But I definitely recommend it if you're in the mood for a nice, wholesome alien romance.
I adore jumping into any of Honey’s books. I especially love this series that continues the world and storyline we found in her previous Alien Abduction series.
We follow Brannik in this book, who we briefly met in the previous book. I do love a super tall hero! Amy is our FMC in this book and I loved them both so much. I loved their first meeting, tension but then understanding and another couple that are perfect for each other!
Lots more world building and slow burn romance. Lots of drama and action and twists!!! Some answers and of course more questions. Oh the emotions in this one towards the end got me!
I’m not sure how I’ll manage waiting until next year for the next in the series, I need more now!
Oh WOW!!! Another fantastic book from my favorite author! It touches the emotions so much and sucks you into the lives of Brannick and Amy. Amy was abducted from Earth, and things have been so bad for her. Every day it's all about survival. In this setting, her owner makes sure she is safe and has a place to live. This is how she meets Brannick. He is a captive, and Amy brings food to the prisoners, which is what Brannick is. This is an intricate story, and my review is not doing this book justice. I can tell you I will be rereading this book!

Honey Phillip's C is for Captive is a sweet and passionate scifi romance well worth reading. Amy is a human slave who has learned to hide in plain sight as a boy. She's sent in to feed the huge captive warrior no one else can approach. Bannick could free himself at any time but waits to hear the info he needs about his mother who had disappeared 25 years prior. When the priest arrives looking for people like his mom, he knows he's come closer to finding her. Amy and Bannick escape and then the real adventure begins... reuniting mother and son while developing a lasting relationship between the couple.
Brannick, a Tuori warrior, is a prisoner, somewhat by choice, so he can get information he has been searching for most of his life. Amy is a human who was stolen from Earth and has made herself hidden in plain sight disguised as a boy. When she takes food to Brannick, she is afraid but also drawn to him as he is to her. But things go wrong and they need to escape fast. Sometimes making yourself unseen is a strength that comes in handy. What they find along the way is a wonderful story that leads to a great HEA. This is absolutely a must read!
Ladies hold onto your hats!! This lady has done an amazing job on this book. You will be hooked right from the beginning. This series is getting better and better with each and every book she writes. I enjoyed every single moment of this read. This couple are so meant for one another and you can't help but love the protectiveness that the male shows for his female. I so cannot wait to see what comes out with the next book in the series it just keeps getting better and better. This is a must read!!
“C is for Captive” by Honey Phillips This is Amy and Brannick’s sweet and spicy sci-fi romance. I was lucky to receive a free copy and am voluntarily sharing honest thoughts.
The story is packed with danger, adventure, and suspense. The hidden-human and captive-warrior tropes are exhilarating. Brannick’s fierce protectiveness and the couple’s forced proximity are featured.
Fast-paced and exciting, with mystery, aliens, and a wonderful ending—this is another fantastic addition to the series and another great story from Honey Phillips.
Beautiful love story! Brannik finds himself falling for a little human
Brannik is a frightening Tuori hybrid prisoner, but he is tamed by the little human who feeds him. Amy has a tiny bit of freedom that requires she pretend to be a young boy for her own safety. But Brannik sees right through her disguise and most importantly Amy feels heard - even tho Brannik never says a word. Can he achieve his goal to find his Aurelian mother and also save Amy? Will they get a HEA? Lots of fun finding out.

This was another engaging and exciting addition to the series and I loved seeing Brannik, such a strong and silent cinnamon role, get his HEA. Amy was abducted and is now working in a kitchen disguised as a guy. However, when she has to deliver food to a prisoner, Brannik, she didn't expect her life to take the turn it did... Expect to get caught up in the action, drama, danger, mystery, connection, found family and steamy romance when you dive into this fun read. I loved it and look forward to the next book ;D
Brannik and Amy are very well written characters. I really felt that I got to know them well while reading this book. Amy became someone I wanted as a friend. These two are so well suited to each other. I loved how they were able to see past each other’s surfaces to the real person underneath so easily. I also loved how Brannik feels the need to overprotect Amy but trusts her to make her own decisions! So important!!!
The plot is excellent. Although part of the larger series, this book can easily be read as a standalone and you won’t feel like you have missed out on anything!!
I received an ARC copy of this book and am very grateful to have done so. The storyline is as interesting, and fun. The world was fun to read about, and envision as I read the story. The storyline and series is as good as I expect it to be. I am really enjoying this series, as I have done with every series this Author has written. I can not recommend enough, and also go check out her other books, the don't disappoint!
I I’m captivated!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 While reading the beginning of this book particularly, I was on the edge of my seat. The situation is so dangerous! Amy and Brannik are a fascinating couple. I love seeing Amy slowly come out of her shell, beginning to trust Brannik. The story is well written, and keeps me guessing what will come next (so many surprises). I love it!
Book 3 of The ABCs of Alien Abduction story of Amy and Brannik. Now that’s an action adventure that will keep you on your toes and worried about both these characters till they escape and the book ends. Man this one was a delight to read.

Quite lovely indeed! Brannick and Amy are great characters, and I would love to see more of them. Surely the evil priest isn't going to give up so easily, especially now that there is a restaurant and a building cooking reputation involved.
I say this about many of HP's stories, but each one seems to find a way of making the H into a hero, whether of the strong and silent type such as Brannach, or whether more of a cinnamon role type, also Brannach. Amy's idea of keeping herself safe didn't fool him at all. He knew exactly who she was to him and made no bones about it.
Abducted from Earth Amy has lived the last four years disguised as a boy. Human females bring a high price on alien planets. She delivers food to the local prison and there she meets a Tuori warrior named Brannik who is being held prisoner. Soon they form a bond. When Amy faces discovery Brannik while do everything in his power to protect her. Good story.
