I picked up Mars Lost because I enjoy science fiction, but I ended up getting far more than a typical space adventure. The mystery surrounding Mars, the missing memories, and the questions about what happened to Earth kept me hooked from the beginning.
What I liked most was the sense of uncertainty throughout the story. I found myself constantly trying to figure out who could be trusted and what was really going on. The main character’s struggle with memory made the story feel personal and added an emotional layer to all the suspense.
The world-building was detailed without being overwhelming, and the mix of science fiction, mystery, and human drama worked really well for me. There were several moments that genuinely surprised me, and by the end I was already looking forward to the next book in the series.
If you enjoy intelligent sci-fi with mystery and strong character development, this is definitely worth reading.
