Harvest of Hope
A Christian Ranch Romance of Faith, Healing, and Second Chances
Harvest of Hope is the story of a Hollywood producer who never planned to spend a summer in Kansas, a cowboy veterinarian who never planned to need her, and the harvest neither of them saw coming.
Two engagements shattered.
Two hearts guarded.
Two vows never to love again.
Being jilted at the altar taught Holly Woodward and Josh Landon the same lesson: don’t risk your heart again.
Holly needs Josh’s historic Kansas mansion for her next film to save her career—but the stubborn rancher-veterinarian refuses. After he rescues her from a deadly blizzard, their uneasy truce shatters when an injury leaves Josh dependent on the one woman he can’t stand.
Forced together, sparks fly as fiercely as their arguments. But as they lean on faith and uncover surprising ties between their pasts, their guarded hearts begin to shift.
Can they trust God—and each other—enough to love again?
A contemporary, heartwarming Christian romance filled with hope, healing, and second chances.

We find ourselves in Kansas in the midst of a blizzard. Holly is there to secure a deal and only Josh is standing in her way.
I admired the family and the reasons why they didn't want the film to happen.
Josh's parents are the best. They open up their home and their hearts to those around them. They've been through some terrible losses and forgive those that have hurt them.
Daniel and Reggie are pretty cool too. Daniel is the pastor and is quick to give advice to his flock. Reggie is helpful to those around her.
I loved how Holly tries to conquer her fears and help Josh as he recovers. I'm not sure if I could have done the things she did.

What a fun story. While not being suspenseful, it did have me on the edge of my seat. Who doesn't love a big-city-girl-meets-small-town-guy romance? It has a little bit of everything... suspense (in a good way), family dynamics, overcoming fear, forgiveness and of course, love. I adored Hope & Josh. I'm pretty sure you will, too! This is the perfect curl up with a cup of your favorite hot drink and get lost in a story kind of book! Hope does indeed, abound!!

A sweet story of hope and healing no matter what the circumstances. It's a story that's not only enjoyable to read but is inspiring as well. I recommend this book.

HOPE, HEALING, & SECOND CHANCES!
Author Ronda Wells is releasing a beautifully written, heartfelt new novel, Harvest of Hope, full of hope, healing, and second chances! Wells introduces readers to wonderful characters who are realistic and will become like your close friends before you finish reading their story. Holly Woodward is a Hollywood producer needing a historic Kansas mansion for her next movie. Josh Landon is the veterinarian and son of the family that lives in the Kansas mansion. They have an interesting first meeting by way of an auto crash in a snowstorm.
Wells continues to build on the story of Holly trying her best to convince Josh’s family to allow her company to use their mansion to film their horror film. As she grows closer to the family, she begins to understand their deep-seated reasons for being so against these types of films.
Also, Holly and Josh are fighting a major attraction to one another. They are both carrying baggage of past broken engagements, public humiliations, and horrific broken hearts. What they have no way of knowing is how their past loves intertwine and will complicate the present.
Wells writes this story with amazing themes of hope, healing, and second chances. She does not just show it once, but provides several examples throughout the story. I highly recommend this novel because it is entertaining, enjoyable, and inspirational, and will remain in your thoughts long after you have read the last word.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this novel by the author/publisher. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.

HARVEST OF HOPE by Ronda Wells
Release date, August 11, 2026
This was my first read by Ronda and it will not be my last. It is written to where you feel like you’re a part of the book. And the characters are so well written you feel by the end of the book that they’re actually your friends.
Holly Woodward is traveling to Colfax, Kansas. Holly has been sent here by her boss to secure a contract to film in an amazing mansion. They have asked this family before and have been completely shut down. Holly has her work cut out for her.! it’s very stormy and Holly slides off the road and another vehicle comes and hit her in the rear end. She is not dressed for the weather at all! And the man that hit her just so happens to be the son of the couple that owned the mansion she needs to secure. Josh Landon helps Holly out of the car and takes her home with him. His mom and dad jumped right in to help warm Holly up and give her a place to stay for the night. Unbeknownst to them they have opened their door to the one person they would not want inside their home. However, that being said, Josh knew immediately who she was, and he took her home anyway. She had a huge bump on her head and was bleeding.
I seriously could not put this book down. I loved every page and the mansion description sounds amazing. Like it could be a B&B and I would love to stay there.
Well, done Ronda!

This book has so much in it. From a small town with a community of nosy-busy bodies to friendly people and a few characters that you will either want to hug or slap. Holly Woodward has been sent from her boss man to get a contract signed by a couple, to be able to film a horror movie on their farm. On her way there she gets stranded on the road in a blizzard, when she gets hit by a truck with a snowplow on it. No other than Josh Landon is driving the truck, whose parents that Holly is wanting to convince to sign the contract. Though Josh doesn't tell Holly who he really is, along with keeping a secret close to his vest. When one tragic accident after another one happens, will Josh and Holly be able to get over their past that has made them not trust people or will it bring them closer together? I enjoyed this refreshing story that at times made me want to cry and at other times reach in the book and shake some sense into the characters. I received a complimentary copy of this book, but was not required to leave a positive review. All opinions are what I thought of the book. I would love to see another book with more of these characters in it.

This is from an author I haven't read before but enjoyed the story. Holly Woodward has been sent from Hollywood to secure a specific mansion in Kansas to film a book written by her former fiancé'. If that's not hard enough, Holly runs into a blizzard causing her to stall out and then get hit by a truck. Holly thinks Josh Landon's parents have the final say on renting out their home, but she's wrong. Because she's stranded without a car, she agrees to drive Josh Landon, a veterinarian, who was injured by a bull, around while he's healing. She's hoping to use Josh to change his parents' mind. What Holly doesn't know is she's the one changing. Small town life is growing on her because she's helping Josh's parents tend to their farm as well. Heart-warming story about two people who have broken engagements in their past they need to move past. I was given an advance copy by the author, but these are my words and thoughts.

This story is by an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. It is also an author that I never hesitate to pick up. One of the things that stick out for me is their creative characters that are written with a lot of heart and soul. Their use of details make the characters come to life and pull me into their world with ease. This story is about Holly and Josh. They vowed to never love again and have guarded their hearts. Will they be able to love again and trust in God? I enjoyed both of these characters and what they added to the story made it easy and entertaining to read. They are connectable, engaging and had me caring about what would happen to them. This is a story that you don't want to miss. I enjoyed watching the growth of this story. I found this story to be well written and hard to put down. A fast paced story and one that is a must read. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this story.

I love the blurb that describes this book: "Where hope is planted, love grows.” That summarizes it so well. Getting lost in the pages of the story of Holly and Josh was a journey through love, loss, heartache, betrayal, and a blizzard of secrets. I love these two people, Josh's parents, and the pastor and his life. The community in Kansas is filled with a wonderful group of people who care for and support each other. Though, of course, there is the one person who is determined to make sure that Holly and Josh never become more than acquaintances. The theme of Faith is so heartwarming, and the harvest of hope and healing that exploded from the pages gave me a glimpse into the possibility of a second chance at life, love, and happiness.

A beautifully woven Christian read, that kept me page turning!
The story starts with a bang, a snowstorm in May, and continues, with some very hard life issues, but the finding of two hurt individuals to join the same path is heartwarming, if not rocky.
A lot of deceit happens in this read, past loves turning out not to be whom you thought they were.
The setting here is a beautiful Kansas ranch home, with a history, whether true or not.
The story does have a lot of action, some do get hurt, but the love of this community is wonderful!
I loved the ending, and sweet epilogue!

This was intriguing right from the very beginning. I loved the small-town atmosphere. Having lived in a small town for a while, I could identify with many aspects represented. It has all the feels; there were times that I was frustrated with the main characters. I wanted them to just talk, out loud, and be honest with one another. I also teared up a couple of times. It is a ride for sure, I felt like there were so many issues that were represented in this story too. Lots of family drama and situations that happen in real life too. It could be made into a movie and do quite well, I think. I really liked the faith content throughout this story. I would love to read more from this family and the small town it is situated in. I am so thankful that I was able to read this book. This is my first read by this author and I look forward to reading more from her. Thanks to the author for a copy to read and review. This is my honest review.

Even though I wanted to speed through and finish, I took my time reading this book. This allowed me more time to spend with the characters and stay in the story. I may have been a little frustrated with the characters at times, but overall I loved the connection the two main characters had.
I really appreciated the message of hope and faith. Even when all seems lost, there's a greater hope to cling to.

As a person who normally reads a lot of romantic suspense this book was a little different. But it was so good. It was a book that really kept me not wanting to put it down. I really enjoyed the theme of Hope woven throughout the entire story as well and the importance of truth and forgiveness. The relationship between Holly and Jason was a joy to watch develop and I hope there is more to their story in the future. It is a relaxing and enjoyable read and I would recommend with a cup of tea or coffee.

This novel was like riding a roller coaster, over and over again. The characters were genuine with broken hearts and hard hearts to deal with. The emotions kept fluctuating and changing the direction of the story. Who would imagine a California born and bred woman would find anything of interest in Kansas, let alone someone who could fix her broken heart. He, our veterinary, also had a broken heart he had no intention of opening again. Well, through it all you will truly enjoy the constant changing atmosphere. A superb read by a very talented author.

Holly Woodward is on her way to Colfax, Kansas hoping to secure the chance to film a movie at Hope Rising, the house a bestselling author used in a book. But she is driving in a blizzard! Her car dies on the road, her phone dies and she is not dressed for the weather. What will she do? Then a truck hits her car. Josh Landon rescues Holly and takes her with him. He is the local veterinarian and is out on a call. He takes her home with him to Hope Rising. Can she convince him and his parents to let them film at their home? Or will she lose her job because they refuse?
This is a interesting story with some romance thrown in. I received this complimentary book from the author but was under NO obligation to give a favorable review. I enjoyed the story. I could have down without some of the repetition of the same thoughts over and over on her losing her job.

Harvest of Hope By Ronda Wells is a story of love, hope, and second chances. Holly travels from Hollywood to Kansas for work, but what she discovers is a lot more than she was looking for! Josh Landon is a small town guy, just trying to help keep his family’s farm in the black! Will faith lead these two together or will the truth bond that started? Love can prevail, but at what cost? I received this book from the publisher and was not required to leave a review. The honest opinion is my own.

This is a great story of a Los Angeles producer who expects to make a one day trip to Kansas to lock down the rental of a mansion to produce a thriller movie. Instead she gets caught in a snowstorm and meets the owner of the house. What follows is a story of newfound love and growth.
