He spent his entire life fighting for an empire. Now he's fighting to keep the family he almost lost.
After surviving betrayals, bloodshed, and a marriage that was presented as nothing more than a business arrangement, Hendrix "Hook" Blackwell and Royal Blackwell finally found the one thing neither of them expected...a love that was always meant to be theirs. But happily ever after doesn't come without one final test.
As the Blackwell family prepares to welcome the next generation, old loyalties are challenged, new legacies are born, and one shocking act of violence threatens to change everything. Through love, loss, and the promise of new life, Hook must make the biggest decision of his life. The crown...or the family waiting for him at home. Because his father spent years telling him a Blackwell never walks away from the crown.
Signed Over to a Street Menace A Love Meant for Usis the unforgettable conclusion to the Blackwell Dynasty. A story about choosing love over legacy, breaking generational cycles, and discovering that some crowns are meant to be worn... while others are meant to be laid down for the people you love. Will Hook choose the empire that made him... or the family that saved him?
I rarely leave reviews, but this book absolutely deserves one. This story took me on an emotional roller coaster. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I gasped, and I even had to put my Kindle down for a minute because I couldn’t believe what had just happened.
The characters felt real, the plot twists were well-earned instead of being there just for shock value, and every emotion had a purpose. Just when I thought I knew where the story was going, the author completely surprised me.
What truly set this book apart for me was the faith element. The prayers, the conversations about grace, forgiveness, and redemption didn’t feel forced—they fit the story beautifully and added so much depth. It wasn’t just an urban fiction novel; it was a story about family, consequences, healing, second chances, and God’s mercy.
If a book can make me laugh, cry, pray, and immediately want to recommend it to someone else, it’s an easy five stars. Destiny Skai definitely did her thing with this one, and I’ll be reading more from her.
Ok so I’m left with so many more questions than answers. I loved the complete change in Hendrix, but there were too many things that were never explained fully. Answers we never received. Some scenes were sped up while others were completely erased. For example… Why did the judge do what he did? We never got closure on that. Or where did his daughter go? What happened to the 6 week plan with him and Preston? Loved the happy ending tho, but I cannot give it a perfect rating
This was a really good series. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. Great writing from Ms. Saki. I love Hook and Royal characters along with Razor and Bellamy. I was hoping a little bit more from the villains, Sloan and Judge Harlan. I also wondered what happened to Crew’s girlfriend and child. They were never mentioned after the incident with Kam. Overall, very enjoyable and I highly recommend.
I just have a few questions because I need to know what happened to Arielle and Capri and why they weren't at the birthday party. I need to know of Crew ever solidified his family, and if Kash ever found out about Nyla and Razor. It was almost like they held secrets until an explosion happened every time. I swear, though, I was heavily invested in this series. This is a new author for me, but I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring her catalog so far.
100000000000000’s across this entire series. Thank you Destiny for bringing this family, their characters, and their love story to each and every one of your fans. This series was very well thought out and also written. I’m not giving anything away (you have to read it for yourself). YOU DID THAT!!! ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ok so they had to have some closing drama lol would not be a Blackwell book without it. I definitely understood both sides with Razor and Kash and the way I shed real tears for my girl Bellamy you would have thought it was real. But overall good series.... Definitely would like some more of Crew but Kash too.
You hit every high point good or bad. I’m so glad everything flowed just like it did. I knew as the happy moments came through, something tragic was gonna happen, but I didn’t know it would be that plot twist. Looking forward to more from these families! Excellent story
I have truly enjoyed this series. The family turmoil was something. That damn messy Sloane drove me crazy but glad Mama put her in her place. Only wish that Royal would have. Hoping to read more about the Blackwells.
Great series I Loved It. I am not a patient person waiting on the next book but each one was well worth it. If you haven’t read the series do so. Continue doing your thing as an author.
I have cried, laughed, been angry with these folks. I wasn't sure if there would be some happily ever afters....thankfully there were. Hard decisions, forgiveness and love made it work.
This series is fire! Everything Destiny Skai pens is fire! I enjoyed the Blackwell's very much and how everything worked out. As usual, visuals are A-1. I can't wait for a holiday edition
