About the author

Derek Prince (1915-2003), was an International Bible teacher and founder of Derek Prince Ministries International, wrote more than fifty books.
He was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His daily radio broadcast, Derek Prince Legacy Radio, still reaches listeners around the world.

A very essential book to read with knowledge about prayer. Intercession is amazing, and this is a great pattern for intercessors.

My encouragement to you at this moment would be that instead of resisting this urge, that you yield yourself to the Lord and to His destiny for your life. You can do so by praying the following prayer:



Dear Lord, I have read this teaching, and I have seen the examples in Your Word of those who have yielded their lives to You in intercession. I want to be counted among their number. I come to You now, in the name of Jesus, and I offer myself to You. I make myself available to pray for situations You want me to pray for, and I will intercede for them at Your direction. I am fully Yours, Lord. I give myself to You. Amen.
