DELICIOUSLY DARK, POWERFULLY COMPELLING, SERIOUSLY SEXY AND DEFINITELY ENTERTAINING !!!
OMG! I'm still in love with this series! What He Guards is Book Twelve in the spellbinding series, What He Wants by Hannah Ford. This series totally rocked my world! Each successive release becomes even more powerful, exhilarating, mysterious, suspenseful and sexy. And yes, this is a serial with lots of nail biting, white knuckle cliffhangers, but I personally love the excitement and anticipation of a good serial. It's just like watching your favorite weekly TV shows and perfect for a quick lunchtime read! And Book Twelve just blew my mind! Although Book Eleven was by far the most emotionally charged installment to date with the raw intensity of the exchange between the story's two main characters, Book Twelve literally explodes with a revelation that shocked me senseless and left me with my mouth agape! Oh my glory! I think I may just die of anxiety while waiting for Book Thirteen! The story is exciting, dark, thrilling, riveting, compelling, powerful, mysterious, suspenseful, enticing, addictive, romantic, seductive, sensual and steamy. The dialogue is smart, well written, intelligent, arousing and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, engaging, intriguing and sexy as sin. Law student Charlotte Holloway may only be 21 but she has worked tirelessly to gain favor with her law professor and now she finally has the long awaited opportunity to prove her worth. She has been assigned to work with him on a very high profile murder case. The client is a none other than Noah Cutler, a very powerful and sought after attorney himself. But at her first meeting with the new client, she realizes that Noah is her mysterious one time hookup from the bar the previous night. Huh? What the heck? And as women connected to Noah continue to turn up dead, Charlotte is drawn deeper and deeper into his life and his world of BDSM. Despite her resolve, Charlotte has fallen in love with the mysterious Noah Cutler and desperately works to clear him of the murders. I can hardly wait to read Part Thirteen! This just gets better and better! One heck of a heart-pounding ride! My only issue with this author is her failure to provide her readers with any information or links to subscribe to notifications announcing the release of a new installment of the book. It is both inconvenient and time consuming to continuously search in hopes of finding a new installment. I am following this author on Amazon but to date, I have not received any emails announcing a release. I enjoy this series and would like to continue reading more from this author but it is inconsiderate for Ford to expect loyalty from her readers when no effort is made on her part to accommodate our convenience. Although this in no way detracts from the contents of this story, it does influence my decision on whether I will read any successive books written by Ford. Deliciously dark, powerfully compelling, completely captivating, seriously sexy and definitely entertaining!

The Killer has now set his eyes on Charlotte, and will Noah be able to keep her safe? The author is really pulling me in more and more with each book. This one will have you on the edge of your seat wondering how it going end. Onto the next book.

READER/BUYER BEWARE: At first, I liked that I could buy all 10 books for .99 and getting a good deal. WRONG!! There's OVER 22 Books! The others at $2.99. This author knows how to rip the customer off by offering short stories where the storyline never ends. These books offer bonus books that you find after a few short chapters, and those too offer short stories getting you to buy MORE BOOKS to find the conclusion. Each book is ridiculously short and there is no group deal of 11-22+. For the cost to read the beginning to end, you would think this author would employ her skills in editing her multiple books by spell checking. There are so many unanswered questions throughout the storyline. The characters give quick short answers & never follow up leaving you wondering. I did like the storyline, but after a few books in I couldn't help but feel I had already read this story. Then I realized that the storyline was almost identical to a book I read a few months ago, minus some alterations here & there. Other than that I did like the book(s), but I can't like the author who intentionally rips off the customer.

I loved this series....am still loving this series. Could not even update or review before reading the next one. I sometimes read like 3 of these books a day!
Some of it was a bit rough for my taste and I can not believe that people have that much sex but each to his own in my opinion!
The storyline was very interesting! Book 17 needs to come like in now!

Good, but not Great
I'm enjoying this series...
But the price of an hour long book is a bit high, considering you can get the same (if not better, and a longer more in depth book) for the same price (even less).
I'm not sure if I'd be willing to purchase any more from this author because of that fact.

This next part in this series has had me heated. This author brings out so much emotion with these characters it is breathtaking and awe. She keeps me on the edge of my seat in suspense and I am sure she will you to.

I should have read the reviews before reading this series. The story line is good but it's being dragged out for too long. I'm done waiting/reading for this series; maybe next year I'll check in to see if the stories is done.

There isn't much story progression in this installment of the series until basically the very end. Probably the most boring of the books so far...again, at least until the end. However, the end was something I had already predicted and I am sure many of the other readers saw it coming too.

This series is exciting, dark, thrilling, riveting, powerful, mysterious, suspenseful, romantic, sensual and steamy. The story will pull you in and you just want more. This series has many plot twists—again, and the dialogue is clever and well written. I cannot wait for the next one.
