I live and work in the Southwestern region of the United States, and while I love writing and penning various stories that feed my imagination, for now, I still have a day job, as a university professor, which I also enjoy tremendously. In addition to writing erotic and romance fiction, I am a fitness enthusiast, which for me means that I am an avid Crossfitter, Burn Boot Camper, and a retired IFBB Figure Pro. I also love the water, and hope to one day get back to one of my passions which is scuba diving. Another passion of mine is reading. I love books on pretty much any topic that interests me that day, and of course, I’m a rabid reader of all things romance and erotica.
I am also the proud mother of busy twin toddlers, who love to get into everything and keep me on my toes. So naturally, I have limited time to do much of anything with my two precocious little ones running around, but when I do have even the tiniest bit of free time, and I’m not writing, reading or working out, you will find me listening to music or NPR, catching the latest release on some streaming device, or spending quality time with my close friends and extended family.

A Hot, Complicated Little Story That Left Me Wanting More
The Billionaire’s Black Secretary packs a surprising amount into a very short read. The setup immediately caught my attention: Jazmin is an Ivy League-educated attorney working for a powerful, intensely attracted-to-her billionaire boss, and rather than waiting around for him to make a move, she decides to take matters into her own hands. The chemistry between them is obvious, and the sexual tension is established quickly.
What I found most interesting, though, was the shift in their dynamic once Jazmin’s plan actually succeeds. Jonas initially goes out of his way to respect the boundaries created by their professional relationship. Once those boundaries are crossed, however, the encounter becomes considerably darker and more dominant than I expected from the blurb.
There is a genuine consent issue here that I think prospective readers should know about. Jazmin initiates the encounter, but later explicitly asks Jonas to stop, asks him to use protection, and asks him to pull out. He ignores those requests. The book subsequently frames her pleasure and eventual acceptance as part of their sexual dynamic. Readers who are comfortable with very dark or coercive erotic fantasies may have no issue with this, but readers who aren’t should know what they’re getting into.
My bigger frustration was that the story ends just when things become really interesting. Jazmin is presented as smart, ambitious, independent, and capable, and I wanted to see what she would do after realizing that she had badly underestimated Jonas. Instead, the story moves fairly quickly from the explosive encounter to her essentially accepting his control and moving into his world.
The writing is highly explicit and definitely delivers on the steam. There are some very vivid descriptions, and the chemistry between the characters is strong enough that I genuinely wanted to know what happened next.
I just wish there were a next.
At 36 pages, this is much more of a concentrated erotic novella than a fully developed romance. And that’s both its strength and its weakness. It gets straight to the fantasy, but it doesn’t give the characters enough room to deal with the consequences of what happens.
I finished it feeling two things at once: that was a lot, and I want more. There is the foundation here for a much longer, more complicated story, particularly if Jazmin gets the opportunity to reclaim some of the agency and independence established at the beginning.
I’d absolutely read the full-length version if the author expands this story. There is enough here to make me curious about what happens next.

Sickening
Checked out of the penthouse accommodations to find a storm grounding them. The motel clerk noting the storm had the fore sight to retain a room for the billionaire. Now what good PA would not check the weather or ensure accommodations? Just one big sex scene basically afterwards until the end of the book. Just seemed like some bullshit story to put out there for her readers. However being my first time reading a story of hers it will be my last. No story, no plot, no character development, nothing but failures as a PA, supposedly a great one, then hidden sexual desires of both parties resulting in endless sex over a two day period with a PA whos a virgin unknown to a man whos been with more woman than any man can dream about. Returning home to demand moving together based on an innuendo of offspring in the near future.

Wow, that was hot!
Miss Noon, you have a way with dirty, hot and wild couplings. The way Jazmin teased Jonas (at first innocently), was her undoing as he let her know he wasn’t to be trifled with. He showed her by claiming her in so many ways that had her at his mercy. Once she was claimed there was no going back.

Seriously erotic
This is quick and dirty in a good way. In that I mean the couple knew each other for more than five minutes before getting busy. There was a true connection emotionally as well as physically. Not a new story but a well told boss/assistant intimate erotic tale.
