I have to say this was different than what I am used to from this author. I didnt hate it but not something I prefer. It was missing some things I think. Like more about his pack his interactions with them. We only saw Charles who's his beta and not even much about him...he seemed to be his driver the whole time. I dunno...it really was hard to get into. Its fine that he's a CEO and works in the city but I think it should have been more detailed. Just fell flat for me. We know not much about her either. I liked both characters but I also think their connection seemed not as intense as her other books. So, this is the first time I had to rate a 3 star and that totally bums me out but I have to be honest. :(
I usually like the books from this author, but this book i just couldn't get into. Even though it was a novella half of the book was just sex, which i just skimmed through until i got to "The End". I didnt like the heroine as she could of made more of an effort to not give in so easily! But hey thats my opinion
