📚 Another book review nobody asked for… but you’re getting it anyway. 😌🏇
Love at the Finish Line by Patti Petrone Miller
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 🌶️ 0/5
This was cute. It had horses, romance, racing, and a sweet overall story, so naturally there were plenty of things here for me to enjoy. 🐎💛
That said… I do think it was longer than it needed to be. The story had a solid premise and some genuinely enjoyable moments, but there were sections that felt stretched out and slowed the momentum down more than necessary.
I liked the racing setting, the connection between the characters, and the idea of two people chasing their own goals while slowly realizing love might be the real prize. It just didn’t fully pull me in enough to justify the length.
⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 — sweet and enjoyable, but could have used a tighter pace. 🌶️ 0/5 — clean romance with plenty of horse-girl vibes.
Overall, this was a pleasant read. Not one that completely knocked me off my feet, but still a cute story for anyone who loves horses, racing, and a clean romance. 📖✨
This is a beautiful story of fight and survival! 💛 one of patience, genuine trust, love and the real care and heart that goes into putting any animals needs before your own daily!!💛 As a former Veterinary Technician myself, this was the ONLY book that made me shed actual real years out of the 276 books I have read since January 1st this year!!💛 PLEASE DON'T PASS THIS READ BY. I hope you love it as much as I did!💛
