Good information
I got the kindle version and would love to see bigger pics and more pics of what the process looks like when in the middle and the finished look. Overall, once I sew more I may come back and check it out again to possibly make myself a cheat sheet on fabric. Good book.

Not enough informaion
This book's title leads you to believe there will be practical and useful tips for sewing beginners. The only thing covered in detail is stitch types. The vocabulary used is not explained for beginners to understand. More information would have been nice.

The only thing I wish could have been included were photo examples. I have a new sewing machine that I would like to use, but I have forgotten how to thread it.
