The Crystal Throne The Winter Heir

For centuries, the Crystal Throne has held the fragile balance between kingdoms. Now, its greatest secret is waking.

Violet has spent her life believing she was ordinary. But when a mysterious power awakens within her and dragons long thought to be legends begin to stir, she is thrust into a world of ancient magic, dangerous alliances, and deadly betrayals.

As darkness spreads across the realm, Violet discovers that she is the last Winter Heir—the only person capable of restoring the Crystal Throne before it falls into the hands of an enemy willing to destroy everything to claim its power.

Joined by loyal friends, powerful dragon riders, and a fate she never asked for, Violet must learn to trust her heart as much as her growing magic. Every choice carries a price, every ally hides secrets, and every battle brings her closer to a destiny that could either save the kingdoms...or doom them forever.

Perfect for readers who love epic fantasy filled with dragons, slow-burn romance, unforgettable friendships, ancient magic, and shocking twists, The Winter Heir is the breathtaking first novel in The Crystal Throne Saga—where legends are reborn, kingdoms rise and fall, and one young woman must decide what she is willing to sacrifice for the people she loves.

Hi! I'm Victoria—professional overthinker, dragon enthusiast, emotionally attached to fictional characters, and the author behind The Crystal Throne Saga.

I write fantasy because reality doesn't have enough dragons, magical kingdoms, or morally complicated characters who make terrible decisions for the right reasons. My books are packed with adventure, found family, slow-burn romance, impossible choices, and enough emotional damage to make you text your friends, "I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS."

When I'm not writing, I'm probably reading, plotting scenes that refuse to leave my head, convincing myself I don't need another notebook full of story ideas (I absolutely do), or pretending my characters are going to behave this time. They never do.

If you love fierce heroines, dangerous magic, dragon bonds, high stakes, and books that make you laugh one chapter and question your emotional stability the next, you've found your people.

Welcome to my little corner of chaos. Grab a blanket, a snack, and prepare to become emotionally invested in characters who will live rent-free in your head long after the last page.

I really loved this story. Once you get used to Victoria's writing style, you are in the story. There were moments that were slow but also moments that were fast. The twist at the end was unexpected. But I know a real person wrote this- despite the speculation of it being AI generated.
The cover may be- not everyone has the ability or privilege to get a big editor or company to back their story- I still believe this story should be shared. All stories should be shared if you are that passionate about it!

We live in a world that craps on people that just do their best to share light.

This story is one of 2 sisters that were bonded despite the love that flowed fiercely.

I am excited for the next installment- it would be interesting to see the other realms tell their story from their pov!
