This would be a fantastic book to have in the class in year 5 when learning about space. The book covers a large range of topics including the Space Race, the planets, rockets and stars. Each page is full of engaging photos and pictures and the text is split into smaller sections which makes it accessible and interesting for children to look at and read. There are also a selection of see-through pages which allow you to see more of each picture, for example, seeing inside the rocket. The book is very informative and would be great to have in the classroom.

This book covers just about everything having to do with space. It gives history on how we first traveled to the moon and how we got there. It goes through the physical toll being an astronaut has on a person. The book also goes in depth about stars, and the solar system and its parts. The book did a great job of revealing the hidden world around us. It contained see through pages that made it that much more interesting to flip through and gave a 3D effect. The information seemed very up to date, and had a brief summary of just about everything. The facts were easy to understand, but could still be used to teach a higher grade level. I plan on teaching middle school science, and can definitely see myself utilizing this book in my future classroom. It provides a great starting point for someone curious about space.

This tells you a little bit of everything in space. It gave some history on getting to the moon, what it took to get there and how physically demanding it is to be an astronaut. Another thing the book talked about was stars. It showed in a very easy, basic and easy to understand way of the life of a star and the different phases it goes through. The last thing it touched on was our solar systems and it's parts. Overall this was a good book, had a lot of good interesting facts. I thought it would be ment more for a lower reading level but i found it taught me a lot. I would reccomed this book to somebody who is looking to learn basic knowledge about space and our solar system. I'd also recomend it as a good starting point to read if you are doing a research or something on space.
