This study includes a chapter to read with reflection questions after each chapter followed by 5 days of devotional focused on the chapter theme and using the SOAP method. I like the SOAP method of bible study so I really enjoyed that part. The chapters had good reminders and included personal stories but there was nothing new or eye opening.

It took me a few weeks to get used to writing out the scriptures as she suggested. I noticed that I got a lot more out of the scriptures when I did write them out. I loved this book and would definitely suggest it to others.

I loved this devotional! The verses to use for individual Bible study were well-selected and the authors’ encouragement was wonderful. I’ve already gifted this to a few people and plan to give it to many more!

My rating this a 3.5 probably is more on me than the book. I just think perhaps my heart and head were not in it like I should have been. I will probably give it another chance when I think I am ready to be more engaged with it.
