I enjoyed this book a lot more than the last one. It didn’t seem as juvenile and the stakes were higher in this one. However, I really hated that Anya ended up with Brad, too. In the last book, it's established that she's with Jace. They did break up temporarily and Brad and Anya hooked up and I was hoping it would remain as a hook up after Anya and Jace got back together, but nope. Anya is now seeing both of them because she's a slut. Not only that, but the author made them into a weird throuple. Out of no where, Jace and Brad suddenly like each other, too. Now all three are fated mates.
By this point, I think it would be better if Jace and Brad just choose each other since Anya cheats on both throughout. I liked Anya at first, too. But of course she has to be another female character that sleeps around.
I think this series would be better without the romance. I'm more interested in them saving the world and too much time was wasted on Anya sleeping with everyone.
