Another South Side Skulls MC Winner

I have fallen in love with these bikers that Ms. Cooke has brought to life and reading Corban’s story is another five-star read for me. Corban is a different kind of alpha biker because he seems shy and will even blush. Tilly has been made to feel less than her whole life and has moved away and is opening up her own bakery. When they first meet, Corban is besides himself with what he thinks of Tilly.

This was a sweet, curvy girl, age gap romance with great characters that had me rooting for them throughout the book.

Tilly and Corban

BEAUTIFUL ENOUGH is Book 3 of The Southside Skulls Nomads series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, he falls first, curvy virgin gets her biker romance.  Tilly is a 23-year-old, sweet, shy, and curvy girl who has just moved to town after buying a local café and bakery. Corban is a 32-year-old hunky, shy biker who is drawn to Tilly before he even meets her. He was such a sweet, gentle giant and Tilly had a heart of gold. Their chemistry was pure fire and the ending was so happy.

Beautiful Enough by Jessie Cooke is a sweet, heartfelt addition to the Southside Skulls MC world that combines a fresh start, a wonderfully shy biker, found family, and a woman finally discovering what life can feel like when she stops allowing other people's opinions to define her. Tilly and Corban's romance is quick, charming, and filled with the kind of protective devotion that made me smile.

Tilly has spent twenty-three years being made to feel as though she takes up too much space. After years of criticism and being judged for her appearance, she finally does something entirely for herself—she travels two thousand miles to Harbor Point and buys a bakery. It's her opportunity to build a business she loves and, more importantly, create a life where she can simply be herself.

Then she meets Corban.

Their first encounter was probably my favorite part of the story. This huge, tattooed biker takes one look at Tilly and becomes so completely tongue-tied that he can barely communicate. He changes her flat tire—rather impressively without a jack—and then leaves. Unfortunately, after a lifetime of feeling overlooked and judged, Tilly interprets his silence completely differently than Corban intends.

The reality couldn't be sweeter: Corban is absolutely smitten.

I loved the reversal of expectations with his character. At six-foot-five, tattooed, patched, and incredibly strong, Corban looks like the intimidating alpha biker Tilly's parents would probably have nightmares about. Instead, he's shy, blushes around her, and is so overwhelmed by his attraction that words temporarily fail him. Even Dax recognizes immediately that something has changed in Corban and sends him back after the woman who clearly made an impression.

And Corban definitely goes back.

What makes their relationship particularly sweet is the way Corban sees Tilly. He doesn't view her through the criticism she's heard throughout her life. To him, she's simply beautiful, and his actions continually demonstrate what he struggles to put into words. Tilly's challenge isn't convincing Corban she's worth loving—it's beginning to believe it herself.

I also enjoyed the sense of belonging Tilly finds in Harbor Point. The bakery gives her something that's entirely hers, while the people she meets offer the acceptance she has been missing. Her move isn't simply about finding romance; it's about finally finding a place where she doesn't feel she needs to apologize for who she is.

Beautiful Enough is a very quick read, but Tilly and Corban were easy characters to root for. If you enjoy shy alphas, curvy-girl romance, protective bikers, age gaps, he-falls-first stories, fresh starts, and found family, this is a lovely escape. Corban may have forgotten how to speak when he first saw Tilly, but sometimes being truly seen says far more than words ever could.

☕ Tilly and Corban . . .

Tilly finally left LA and headed East in a rattling car to finally make her dream come true. She was tired of the constant LA noise and her parents constantly wanting her to be different, to be thinner, causing her to apologize for who she is. They made her feel broken. She has finally made it to Harbor Point. And in the middle of Main Street, she saw The Sweet Spot, her bakery and cafe  -- and a fresh start ahead! The town reminded her of the books she used to read where curvy heroines found love and acceptance and happily-ever-afters. She was welcomed and at last was experiencing acceptance! The two older women behind the counter had to be Marnie and Pearl. The longtime owners who built the café with their own hands decades ago. And now it was hers to keep it successful and to allow her love of baking to give joy to her customers. She stepped in line behind a huge man with "Southside Skulls Nomad" on his jacket. His voice was gentle and kind when he spoke to the women behind the counter. He took his coffee and turned away, so she hadn't seen his face. But the ladies definitely had a positive reaction to the men! When Tilly introduced herself, the ladies gushed at how attractive she was and how delighted they were that she would be taking over their bakery. She could barely hold back tears, overwhelmed by the love, kindness, and belonging.

By the time Corban finished his phone call with Dax, he noticed the red hatchback had a flat tire. He didn't want whoever owned the car to find their day ruined. He asked the customers about the car and a beautiful woman meekly raised her little finger. He handed him her keys and both reacted to the brief touch, then he hurried outside. The trunk was full, the spare tire was there, but no jack. He lifted the car while Clyde pushed a wooden block Corban had found underneath. In no time at all, he finished and put the flat in the trunk. Apparently the entire bakery crowd was watching him out the window! He handed the keys to Marnie rather than try to talk to Tilly. Unfortunately, she assumed he was mad at her. But the way he had looked at her watching him said otherwise.

With Dax seeing the difference in Corban after his encounter with Tilly, he sends him back to the cafe. Will Corban finally ask her out? Will the townsfolk encourage her? After living with judgment and criticism all her life, has she finally found love and acceptance?

Give me a giant, tattooed biker who looks absolutely terrifying but turns into a blushing, tongue-tied mess around the woman he likes, and apparently I’m SOLD. 😂🖤

Tilly has spent most of her life being made to feel like she’s too much because of her body, so I loved watching her finally say screw it, move across the country, buy a bakery, and start building a life that actually makes *her* happy.

And then she meets Corban.

Their first meeting had me smiling so hard because this massive 6'5" biker takes one look at Tilly and basically FORGETS HOW TO FUNCTION. 😂 Meanwhile, poor Tilly thinks his silence means he isn’t attracted to her because that’s what years of people criticizing her have taught her to expect.

Sir was actually just completely GONE for her. 😭

I loved how Corban saw Tilly from the beginning. There was no *despite her curves* nonsense—he thought she was gorgeous, period. And while he might not always be great with words, he definitely knows how to show her exactly how he feels.

This was quick, sweet, spicy, and gave me all the protective biker + shy cinnamon roll vibes I wanted. But I especially loved watching Tilly start realizing she deserves to take up space, be loved, and build a life where she doesn’t have to make herself smaller for anyone.

Corban being a giant tattooed biker who blushes around his girl was just the VERY delicious bonus. 😂🏍️🖤

Tilly is finally taking a step to live the life she has always dreamed of. She was always too much for her parents, never looked at or appreciated by the men in California. She has been encouraged her entire life to be more, to be different so she can be accepted. So stepping out on a prayer and faith she buys a bakery in a small town near the Massachusetts coast, and moves to start her new life.
This place feels like somewhere she can be herself, somewhere where she is appreciated and love for who she is.
Her first day in town she gets a flat tire. The hot, shy biker doesn’t have a jack….no problem he lifts the car instead and fixes the tire…then runs away without a word.
Corban is a member of Southside skulls Nomad MC and is struck by Tilly’s beauty and sweetness at first sight. He has all but given up on love and she knocks him off his feet. He has no idea what to say so he takes off the club. As soon as he gets there he regrets his actions. He immediately knows what he must do.
I absolutely loved this story. Tilly deserves to be treated like a queen and Corban sees that right away. I love the meet cute these two have and the ensuing chaos that brings them together.
A big, beautiful bike, a thriving business and a thriving Tilly. Such a sweet beautiful read.

What a deliciously heart-squeezing read! Beautiful Enough by Jessie Cooke had me grinning, swooning, and cheering from the very first bakery-meets-biker moment. Tilly is the kind of heroine you want to hug, hype up, and hand a perfectly frosted cinnamon roll, while Corban is all quiet strength, protective sweetness, and big “actions speak louder than words” energy.

Jessie Cooke does such a wonderful job balancing tenderness, humor, and emotional healing. The writing feels warm and inviting, with just the right amount of sparkle, tension, and heart. I especially loved how the story celebrates being seen, cherished, and valued exactly as you are—it gives the romance a beautiful emotional center without ever losing its playful charm.

This book is sweet, funny, confidence-boosting, and wonderfully romantic. If you enjoy small-town vibes, shy-but-powerful heroes, curvy heroines finding their shine, and love stories where every grand gesture feels earned, this is an easy five-star pick. I finished it with a happy heart and a big smile—Jessie Cooke absolutely delivers!.

A shy yet dominant motorcyclist, a sweet girl in a small town, and an unforgettable love at first sight.
This is a sweet, gripping and heart-warming romance novella that completely captivated me.
The story follows the blossoming bond between the innocent virgin Tilly, a talented baker seeking to overcome her insecurities, and Corban, a tough and imposing biker ten years her senior who is completely speechless in her presence from the very first moment.
Through protective gestures and a silent yet fierce devotion, Corban sets out to break down Tilly’s fears and prove his worth to her. I was captivated by Corban’s immediate adoration for Tilly and the way he looks after her so attentively.
Tilly’s personal growth as she leaves behind her body image issues and forges her own path adds a deeply moving touch to the story; it made me feel a real connection with her, which allowed me to enjoy this short read even more.

This was such a sweet and heartwarming romance! I loved Tilly’s journey of starting over, finding her confidence, and building a life that was truly hers.

Corban was the perfect contrast—quiet, intimidating, and rough around the edges, but incredibly caring and protective underneath. His actions spoke louder than words, and his determination to show Tilly just how special she was made their relationship really enjoyable.

I loved the bakery setting, the opposites-attract chemistry, and the message of learning to see your own worth. A feel-good, emotional read with plenty of charm, great characters, and a satisfying HEA.

Tilly has found a place where she can hopefully be herself, one where she is accepted for who she is, not how she looks. She has dealt with that pressure from being a young child. One where she can live her life and do what she loves the most.

Corban sees this beauty in front of him and is tongue-tied; all he can do is blush and walk away. Riding away was the hardest thing he'd done, but when you're summoned by the Prez, Dax, you don't keep him waiting! But Dax sees a spark in Corban that this woman has lit, and sends him back to find 'his woman'.

A relationship that starts with a bang, and builds from there.

For such a quick read this story sure touches the heart! Totally warmed my heart! Tilly is a curvy girl and people haven’t been kind to her so she’s making a new start. She’s off to a good start when it gets even better when a big handsome biker steps in the picture! Corban is not what you expect and is just the sweetest thing ever! I absolutely loved how shy he was! And the car?….definitely fire!! A crazy and wild ride with these two but oh so sweet! I’m glad Corban had Dax to give him that little push. A very enjoyable and touching story!.

Tilly moving to a small Massachusetts coastal town to open her bakery and start fresh is everything. After years of feeling like she was "too much," she deserves the world—and Corban sees that instantly.

Their meet-cute had me smiling from the start! Watching a massive, gorgeous biker literally lift her car because he doesn't have a jack—and then run off out of sheer shyness—was absolute gold. Corban is total swoon material, and his shy, protective nature makes him impossible not to love.

A quick, heartwarming read packed with sweet moments, a thriving curvy heroine, and a big handsome biker who falls hard. Highly recommend if you want a cozy, high-heat, feel-good romance!

This is the first book I've read by this author and it is a really sweet cute read. Tilly has always felt like she was never seen, made fun or belittled when she was seen so she leaves home and buys a small bakery in a small town. Her first day there she meets Corban who takes one look at her and runs because he's so shy he can't talk to her. It's a very quick read, less than an hour and I enjoyed Corban chasing down Tilly. I'll read more from this author again.

Corban couldn't believe when he saw Tilly when she just arrived into town. He changed her flat tire then escaped the restaurant. He couldn't believe he had left without talking to her. Tilly was always looked down for her size and everything about herself. She had packed up and left home and never thought she would find everything she needed when she arrived in this town. Loving women she is buying the business from. A sexy new man who is the sweetest biker she had never thought she would meet. This is a must read!!! I loved everything about this read!

This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Tilly and Corban’s story.
Tilly moved for a fresh start, in a new town, and a new bakery, while Corban is a shy biker, who does not talk much, but is instantly attracted to her.
This is a well written easy and quick read, with family, friendships, emotions, drama, opposites attract, an age gap, challenges, humour, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and spicy page turner.

Omg! I believe that Corban may be the sweetest biker that I have ever read! When he saw Tilly for the first time and couldn't even speak just made me love him instantly. Tilly is also the sweetest ever and these two are just perfect together. This is a short read but packed with all the good feels. Enjoy on your lunchbreak or a quiet afternoon. You won't be sorry.

It's a three because it doesn't flesh out the story. It had so many good points to pull on but it just ended. The adoptive parents trying to control a child and making her someone she's not. A main female character not feeling loved because of her body. A male character super shy around women. A new beginning. So many different threads and nothing. Quite eventful first day in new place.
Good for the heroine finding her place where she can be herself, far away from insensitivity, cruelty, and intolerance. Her hardships, according to her, are because of her weight. Luckily, in real life, there are people going through life whose weight isn't a cause of success, happiness, sorrow, or misfortune, attention.

Charming pageturner, had me laughing out loud with the incident with a certain purple item.. I could see myself grappling with it. And later our MMC spotting it on the nightstand of our FMC. Hilarious.

Nice characters, cute story, great short read.

I couldn’t help but laugh at sweet little Tilly. She was so innocent and couldn’t catch a break. She was always looked down on based on her size. Her self confidence was in the dumps. Corban on the other hand, was the hot biker. It was so sweet seeing him tongue tied when he met Tilly. I absolutely loved reading him running back to catch her. It’s a great quick read!.

Tilly had just bought the bakery in town. She moved there because she had to get away from always feeling like she wasn’t enough. Corbin took one look at her and couldn’t breathe. His feelings for her hit him hard. This is a short, sweet and steamy instalove book. It is a great addition to this amazing series.

Tilly has never thought she was beautiful. Criticism from everyone she know has made her that way. Then enough is enough. She leaves to make a fresh start. Tilly opens a baker and enjoys the peace she has away from all the people who though so little of her.
Then she meet Corban, a biker. Corban has eyes only for Tilly. Seeing the beauty nobody else did.

Tilly drove two thousand miles for a new start, new bakery and where no one knows her. When large biker, Corban, comes into the café he barely talks and changes her tire. Corban is left shaken, when one of the guys talks him he knows he has to go back and set things right with Tilly. This is a short and steamy romance.
