A Mysterious Clock Controls Time. What Happens When It Breaks?
The clock tower is the center of the town of Time. It counts down the hours, minutes and seconds of every passing day. But unbeknownst to the local inhabitants, it is at the center of a great deal more than that. It is the center of the universe and controls time itself. But it is old and beginning to break, sending the world’s inhabitants skipping forward and back through time.
Elian must recruit the help of his former crew to steal the third and final clock piece, housed in the Ascar’s private museum. In their escape, Jera is injured. Elian must return to the one place he fears most of all: home.

In the 3rd part of Skip, we find Jera and Elian up against some seemingly insurmountable odds. We get some clarification on past "time skips" and get to meet back up with some previous characters. I enjoyed this book a lot. I feel like Jera and Elian grew a lot closer, and I enjoyed the time skips and getting to fill in the details. I hope this is not the end of Jera and Elian and crew. I'd greatly enjoy reading more of their adventures.
This story was full of adventure, amazing creatures and for the human characters, some soul searching. Skip, is exactly what happened in this series. The clock tower was damaged and it made time skip. The residents of Time did not know that this clock tower actually controls time and the universe so when it got damaged through a fight in the mechanics of the clock tower, time skipped and Jera and Elian went into the future. Jera, a wealthy ship merchants daughter and Elian, a lumberjacks son and an A class thief were brought together and some how the universe had chosen them to fix time and the clock. This task was put before them and neither of them believed that the clock tower in Time controlled everything, including the time skips and went their separate ways. Then one day time skipped and they were brought back to the same location where their task was given. Only then did they accept what was really going on. What Jera and Elian Stump did not know, was the spare parts needed to fix this clock were located in far away places and this is where their adventures really start. Thoroughly enjoyed this series, it was a great read.
This reads really fast and has a good conclusion. I really enjoyed this series and the interaction between all the characters was fun. The skipping time element was interesting and believable. There may be a spin off series though that would be interesting to see come about.
