What happens when Galen Frost is gone too much on business, leaving his lover Shane home alone too long? A storm of epic proportions hits. Galen and Shane are back in this final installment of the Stormy Weather series, which includes the bestselling novels Rain and Whiskey and Tropical Depression. When Galen's business interests take him out of town for long periods of time, he and Shane begin to drift apart. Shane meets new friends, who tempt him into a life of excess, while Galen struggles with his pride and a greedy business partner who wants Shane out of the picture. The boys try to find stolen moments to spend together, but it gets harder and harder for Shane to understand what Galen sees in the road, and even harder for Galen to find his way home. Shane starts to think he'll never be enough for his driven lover, and Galen starts to think he'll never find a way out of the black hole of work he's sunk into. The situation comes to a head during hurricane season, when a storm sweeps down on Galen and Shane's Florida home, reminding them of what's most important in their lives. Each other. Can they make it through the eye of the storm and come out stronger on the other side?

Texan to the bone and an unrepentant Daddy's Girl, BA Tortuga spends her days with her hounds and her beloved wife, texting her grandbabies, and eating Mexican food. When she's not doing that, she's writing. She spends her days off watching rodeo, knitting, and surfing Pinterest in the name of research. Following their own personal joys, BA and Julia heard the call of the high desert and they now live in the New Mexico mountains. BA's personal saviors include her wife, her best friends, and coffee. Lots of coffee. Really good coffee.

Having written everything from fist-fighting rednecks to cowboy daddies to werewolves, BA does her damnedest to tell the stories of her heart, which is committed to giving everyone their happily ever after. With books ranging from hard-hitting BDSM, to fiery passions, to the most traditional of love stories, BA refuses to be pigeon-holed by anyone but the voices in her head.

Hurricane
Shane and Galen’s relationship, as passionate as it was from the start and as loving as it has become, has never been easy. Hence the very fitting series title ‘Stormy Weather’ and the increasingly “stormy” book titles, with ‘Hurricane’ the most dangerous one yet. In this final novel-length installment, Shane and Galen’s relationship is tested to the max. The “tempest of epic proportions” mentioned in the blurb is not an exaggeration – both literally and figuratively. Both men drift onto a path leading away from each other and into trouble, and I was on pins and needles while they were trying to get stuff figured out. Neither of the issues is new, but since they didn’t quite manage to deal with their problems in the last book, things are now coming back to bite them in the you-know-where.

After reading the previous book, I knew what I was getting into with this one. Way too much sex and too little plot. For the most part this book was the same. I skimmed what seemed like a good 80% of this book. It was pretty much back to back sex scenes with a little bit of drama thrown in here and there. I think the author could have stopped at about the 40% mark and still had a good story. It was at the point that I was wondering what in the world I was thinking buying this book. Really, the answer was simple; I love both Shane and Galen as characters. Shane especially. I wanted to know what happened to them and how their story ended. I am rating this book so high for two reasons. One, I really liked the parts of main story that didn't revolve around sex. Second, the bonus story made the whole book for me. I liked it much better than most of the original story.

If you have read the other books in this series, then I don't think you'll be disappointed in this installment. If you didn't like the other installments, then I'm not sure you'll like this one any better. All in all, I think this was the perfect ending to Shane and Galen's story and I really hope the author lets it die here.

This is book three in the Stormy Weather series and I feel like you need to read all three so you see how they met, what may tear them apart and if they get a happy ending.
In book three, Hurricane, Galen is on the road a lot promoting the football team he invested in. (you need to read book two to know what the investment is or like me you are left wondering.) Shane is still managing the bar, partying and having a grand time. Wade has his sights set on Shane just waiting for Galen to mess up. Things get very shaky thin a real hurricane hits bringing them both back to save Galen's house and maybe their love.

I thought the story had its ups and downs. I could see the love between the two men and the building storm as well especially since there were men on each side trying to get between them. As in the first book, there is a lot of sex. That's not a bad thing it was just a little more than I like and the book could have been a little shorter with a few of those cut making it more intriguing with the plot.
So if you like bartenders, partiers, opposites attract, ex-football players, businessmen, storms, very cute dogs and lots of erotic man-sex this is for you!

From that review: " I've loved all three stories about Galen and Shane by B.A. Tortuga but I think that the final one, Hurricane, has to be my favorite.  In Hurricane, B.A. Tortuga achieves a balance in the narrative here that I sometimes found missing in the previous stories.  In  Rain and Whiskey (Stormy Weather, #1) and Tropical Depression (Stormy Weather, #2), each of those novels sometimes felt heavy on the sex and sometimes light on the exposition, no matter how much I loved the hot and heavy between Shane and his man..."

I knew it! You have to wait for the final book of the Stormy Weather series to get the plot, but the waiting was worth it. I really loved this book. The main characters Galen and Shane finally got the chance to do something else than…well, each other. In this book is PLOT people, plot! And drama and jealousy and action and happy ending! Go read it, you won't be disappointed.
