As the author states, this is a "quickie reads universe".
A super quick read with a whole lot of spice, LOVED THAT!
I think the author did a good job having a career driven FMC that is pursued by a Rich MMC who wants to take care and pamper her.
Very enjoyable and spicy quick read.

Definitely have to suspend reality for this one. A well-established therapist has to decide whether she’s going to uproot her entire life and career over a man she met two days ago? 😂 Yeah… okay.
But with the way Knox wouldn’t stay off that lady, it’s not like she exactly had time to think things through.
At any rate, this was a decent, very quick read at only 41 pages. There isn’t a ton of substance here, but I don’t think that’s really what it was trying to be. It’s short, spicy, and gets in and gets out.
It did leave me thinking about the struggle in finding that balance between feeling like you have to do everything yourself and be the pillar of independence versus trusting the safety that can come from surrendering control to the right person. I do like that by the end of the book she seems to find that.
My only real critique is that there were a few repetitive statements that stood out, especially considering how short the book was. With only 41 pages, that repetition was a little more noticeable than it otherwise would have been.

Just another short. I read it because it was the lart of a collaborative type of series. I read the other book and this one was a totally different vibe which I appreciated.
Im not sure id have been quick to drop everything for a man after 2 days either. Like dick so bomb you ready to fold like that? Throw the whole career you built? I was like girl be so fr. Lol I was glad she was conflicted cuz what are we talking about? Lol
However, the roughneck nigga she got to satisfy her did come through stepping by the end of these 40 pages I was like okkkay buddy! I need one too lol. He was like nah you mine and let show you better than I can tell you.

First read by the author.....
This was a spicy, informative, and quick read. Do I agree with the main MMCs methods no really but the Shay agreed with him and got her happy ending and that's all that matters.

Quick read but Knox will have you on the edge of your seat. A quick trip out of town for a friend's wedding will leave you questioning all of your life decisions.

A ride of pleasure
Shay and Knox are intriguing, explosive, thrilling and one might say fated. Knox didn’t hold back and showed Shay she could have whatever she desired as long as she knew she was his. It was a short exhilarating read.
