This was an incredible story. It starts when a house fire takes a wife and mother of four and then follows the family through their grief and anger. Most of the story revolves around the 2 teenage children, their anger at their father, their new belief that there is no supreme being and their need to do whatever they can to rebel.
It is certainly an emotional read but is very well written.

A sweet book about a struggling family that gains assistance from the 3 Nephites. I enjoyed it, though it is definitely different than what I usually read. I wouldn't take it as scripture or fact, but still a nice story nonetheless.

When I read this book... I was 16.

I don't remember the actual book, but I do however, I remember liking this book.

I found a list of books I read in 1997, I wanted to add them onto Goodreads.
