description

King Arthur. Myth, legend, reality we would never know about what he is. But we do know this. A tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the round table. King Arthur lives in a world where magic is real and technology is not. King Arthur is a king that was chosen to move out of the royal family at a small age. Later when there was no king, a sword appeared on the rock that said that the person who pulled the sword out of the rock was worthy of the king. King Arthur got the sword out of the rock and became king. Merlin, the man who chose to move him out of the royal family, mentored him to be a great king. Unfortunately, that is not where the story ends. One mistake triggers another one to lead to an unpredictable ending.

Final Review:
I had not read of stories of King Arthur besides the sword in the stone. It was nice to learn the stories behind the characters and stuff famous as Sir Lancelot and Excalibur.

The sword in the stone from King Arthur is very famous, but I have never read the full story. There is a sword in the stone in Disneyland, but I didn't know where it came from and what it meant. When I saw this book sitting on the shelf, I did not hesitate to pick it up. This story was great. The rise of King Arthur, his conflicts with the knights, all the way to his death in such a small book. I would really love to read a big, full version of "King Arthur".
Reading this book was valuable for me and my learning, so I am glad I found this book in the library.

King Author, brave and heroic. He was great with a sword. He was the chosen one. The man that wielded the Excalibur, a legendary sword. He became a king at an early age, guided by a powerful mage. With the help of his companion, he carved the path of his life. Despite the troubles he had against others trying to kill him, he lived a fulfilling life. He gave mercy to others and gave them a second chance. He guided his rightful knights at the round table. He was their role model. He showed the life of a kind and respectful king.

I read this book for school and oh my God! it was so bad! this is one of the books with the worst writings I've ever read, even a 6th grader can write better than that, the vocabulary is soooo poor, the story happens without any details at all and no decryption, everything's happens so fast and the book is just generally bad!

Preparing myself to read Legendborn and this was exactly what I needed :))))
I didn't realize before picking up this book that it was aimed at a young audience or beginner english learners which explains the writing because it was not great but I didn't mind it since all I was looking for was a brief summary of the story of king arthur and the round table and this provided that for me.

These are acceptable retellings for a young audience, but they are not very academic. Sadly, though, this is what my British Literature class has available.

Bez oceny.

2 questions:
1. Have you ever met futher or teacher who is reliable?
Yes. My tennis coach is strict. He is not like a magician Merlin.
2. Do you have friends you believe?
Yes. We can believe and help each other without money and contract.

I've heard "Excalibur" in several stories.

This book is telling that only the next king can pull the sword out of the stone. Many people try, but thr cannot move the sword. Then young Arthur tries, but it comes out easily. Now he will be the king. But will he be a good king?
