Holy WOW!!! What an incredible trilogy!!!

I've read all three books in three days and loved every minute of the reading experience! I think it's safe to call this series scorching hot and unputdownable !!  This is definitely a top favorite of the year!

So this book was the third in this amazing trilogy and it concluded Flynn and Natalie's story beautifully! If you're new to the Quantum Trilogy, be sure to read #1 Virtuous (my review) and #2 Valorous (my review) first and definititely check out my reviews if you want to see more about the start of the story too!

This one begins right where the last one left off. Now that Natalie knows all of Flynn's secrets -- about his Dominant side and the BDSM lifestyle that he was willing to sacrifice for her -- she's both curious and intrigued. And now it's up to him to show her everything his world has to offer.

And let me tell you.... IT. IS. HOT.

I mean  holy freaking hotness , I fanned myself for pages on end!!! This is an erotic romance so we get all the details and oh my gosh, just WOW!!! But -- I want to say that the most important part of it for me, and the thing that I felt strengthened the series as a whole, was that it was always the love story that was at the center and focus of every single scene. This is truly an example of how erotic romance should be. The sex is mind-blowingly hot, but it always serves to drive the story forward in some way, or to strengthen the relationship between the main couple. I was beyond impressed with the way it was written.

“People don’t understand that it’s not all about the sex. It’s much more about the emotion. When two people are fully invested in a scene, it can be the most intensely emotional experience you’ll ever have — and that’s before anyone has sex.” He cups my face and slides his thumb over my cheekbone. “That’s magnified a thousand times when you’re in a scene with someone you love.”

It is such a rare and precious thing to find a story with a couple as truly functional as Flynn and Natalie. Both of them were very level-headed people with their hearts in the right place. They came from polar opposite worlds and were falling in love with each other despite all their differences. And yes, they each made mistakes and there were miscommunications but it was done in such realistic way that I felt like I could always understand where they were coming from, and I was always thrilled at the way they chose to resolve their issues.

In my last review I mentioned that yes, their romance is definitely (and quite possibly unrealistically) fast paced and a fantastical in it's nature (not that it couldn't happen because I honestly do believe in this kind of love where you just know when you've met the right person) but its just still all just a bit of a fairy tale. Yes, there's oodles and oodles of sex but it's an erotic romance -- that is to be expected! To me, this is just meant to be a story that sweeps you away, that you escape into, and just enjoy and revel in. And for me, I found the way that Flynn and Natalie acted throughout the whole story was what made this story feel so real. The way they worked together to create a relationship in open, honest, communicative ways made it so that I couldn't help but respect and understand their choices every step of the way.

Just on a personal note, I really loved beyond all words the way they came right out and said that no matter what would happen between them, they agreed to never walk away from each other, and always agree to work through their issues together. By making it so that their relationship was never at stake, it gave them a safety net within which to genuinely learn to trust each other. I have endless respect for the author for choosing to create such a story in this manner. Vast endless oceans of respect.

“Can we promise each other to never walk away when the going gets tough? That we’ll stay together and work it out no matter what it is?"

This is really the book where everything gets laid out -- its about pushing past the last boundaries and testing all the limits. I don't want to give anything away, but I'll just say that it was both HOT and full of intensity and emotions. I really genuinely loved it!

I flew through these books. If I hadn't stopped to review them, I probably would have just read straight  through without any stopping at all. They were an absolute romantic thrill ride from start to finish. My heart never stopped racing and I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. I highly recommend them!!

To clarify a few things that I mentioned in previous reviews: there is no cheating, no triangle, no stupid drama. All three books are out and it is a complete story about the same couple. It's hot, erotic BDSM romance. And I'd most highly recommend it for fans of Fifty Shades, Love Unscripted, and Crossfire

Series rating: 5 STARS!!! Erotic contemporary romance.

3.5 Stars!!

description

'Victorious' is the third and final installment in “Quantum” series and picks up where book2 'Valorous' ends. Natalie left Flynn because he lied to her about his sexual preferences. She wants to stay away from him, feeling betrayed, but in the end she realizes Flynn did the right thing not telling her about his Dominant side. Flynn never expected Natalie to be intrigued by his lifestyle. He hoped for her not to be disgusted like his ex, so he never imagined Natalie to want to try being a submissive, especially since she is a rape victim. She wants to be perfect for Flynn in every way and for him to teach her to be the perfect submissive. Humbled by her acceptance, Flynn is more than ready ‘to play’ with his wife.

And WOW...OMG!! He definitely knows how 'to play'. The sex scenes were so damn hot and intense. You can feel the sexual tension and the chemistry between these two every time they are together. This author knows how to write a BDSM sex scene as much as she knows how to write a vanilla sex scene. The BSDM aspect here is light, since Natalie is inexperienced, so they try different things to see what work for them, but nothing too much.

What I liked the most in this installment was the relationship between Natalie and Flynn. Their relationship changed with every sexy encounter. Natalie becomes more confident, discovering herself and as a couple they learn to trust each other completely.
I liked the fact Flynn is totally honest with Natalie about what means to be a Dom and the ‘real’ relationship between someone like him and a Sub. I totally liked how communicative they are with each other about everything – expectations, fantasies etc.

This installment is without a doubt the hottest installment in the series. But it’s sweet and romantic as well.

'Victorious' was a great conclusion to Natalie and Flynn’s story, but I must admit I expected something more. If the previous books in the series are more angsty, this one was pretty light. I guess I wanted more drama, more twists...something more. Also, I wanted more story and less sex scenes.

Overall, a great ending to a great series!

This is the 3rd book in the Quantam series by M.S. Force, who is also known as Marie Force. I have continued to thoroughly enjoy this series, and the couple that the first three books have featured!

In this installment, Flynn Godfrey and Natalie are now married. Their relationship continues to be incredibly strong and Flynn has now put his focus into bringing Natalie into his world...that would be the BDSM world. For readers who are nervous to read about any hardcore BDSM should have no fear in this book. It is actually quite mild compared to other books out there. Seeing as Flynn is introducing his wife to it, he takes it very slow. I was blown away at how erotic the scenes were between this couple. Holy smoly, Ms. Force can write a wickedly charged up sex scene! These scenes were up there with the best of the best...I can't wait for the next couple of books in this series, which will be about Flynn's friends who share the same interest in the bdsm community. In fact, they are all owners of the Quantam club where a select few are able to enjoy the pleasures they like while maintaining their anonymity. This is important as many are popular actors like Flynn, or high profile models etc..

All in all, this is a series well worth a try, and especially if you are into minimal amount of drama, and more focus on the sex and romance. I have so enjoyed watching Flynn and Natalie grow into their strong relationship. I feel like I have finally found a series that is focused on the couple rather than seeing that couple be apart most of the story. I have become very tired of some of the romances out there right now, because of the cheating, fighting, and going back and forth drama. This has been a pleasant surprise...but I will caution, if you are not a lover of sweetness and low drama then this might not be for you.

2 stars. Not much story to this one, just endless BDSM scenes that I got tired of along with Flynn’s fascination with the butt plug. And then there are the scenes where Natalie is in such pain and wants to put a stop to it but she stubbornly refuses to say the safe word and Flynn just keeps pushing her to endure more. I personally just call a big ole bullshit to that. I found the whole thing hypocritical, and evidently Natalie does too.

Natalie: “I think I’s only fair that you should have to do this sometime so you know how it feels.”
Flynn: “Nope.”
Natalie: “That’s so hypocritical.”
Flynn: “It’s not something that interests me.”

See what I mean?

Just seemed like mental/emotional manipulation to convince Natalie she wants it and will like it because he wants it. And I call another HUGE bullshit to that. What an ENORMOUS stretch of the imagination that innocent Natalie brutally raped at 15 has no other sexual encounters until she meets Flynn at 23 and goes from innocent to wanting to try BDSM because Flynn, Mr. generous, wonderful movie star, likes this shit and wants Natalie to want it too. I liked Flynn so much better in the first 2 parts of this bk when he was trying to live without his inner Dom. I got the sense that the Flynn I loved in the 1st and 2nd installments of this story was now only totally focused in getting his kinky jollies. Would Natalie have given over to the dark side if Flynn hadn’t overwhelmed her as the rich mega movie star? This installment was BDSM overload for me. Flynn’s obsessed and even makes her wear the “vibrating bullet” during their wedding. Puhleeze! Enough already. I was grateful the author pared down the 6-day naked honeymoon to just one scene. What the readers missed out on in the first two installments are now inundated with it. LOL! Natalie needs to read the ER scene in “The infamous Ellen James” to find out what endless anal play will get her.

I couldn’t wait for this installment to be over which was disappointing since I liked the first 2 parts of this story so much and I dearly love this author. Ms. Force may or may not expand the series. If it’s a go, this reader will pass.

While I enjoyed the conclusion to the Quantum Trilogy, the conflicts were mostly resolved early on in the book resulting in a great deal of repetition throughout the remainder. I know very little about BDSM but I found this book to be eye-opening in a good way. Flynn patiently educates Natalie in the concepts and rules of the BDSM lifestyle and I felt like I was learning right along with her. Holy mother of hotness! The sex is sizzling!! Flynn and Natalie are newlyweds who can’t keep their hands off each other. They have sex practically every time they’re together – multiple times. Dare I say it’s too much sex? The murder mystery that’s haphazardly thrown in gets wrapped up in a rather rushed ending.

I recommend this book for someone interested in dipping their toes in the BDSM sub-genre.

A stunning conclusion to their fairytale

An absolute stunning conclusion to Flynn and Natalie’s fairytale.

The incredible story about finding love and learning to trust again moved me to tears. To endure what Natalie did at such a young age, and to have know one in her corner to support her would have been devastating. Natalie’s true character was tested.

The secret that Flynn had held back from her could have destroyed what they were building together but her belief in Flynn and her love they both had for each other was strong enough to overcome it in the end.

Can’t rate enough.

4 hot and swoony stars

This final instalment of the Quantum Trilogy gives us the conclusion to Natalie and Flynn’s breathtaking romance. The fairy tale of ‘regular girl with a tragic past meets hot, Hollywood superstar’ has been a whirlwind! Natalie and Flynn met, fell in all-consuming love, and have committed themselves wholly to each other. They are deeply, madly and passionately in love, and have both come so far in their relationship, even if it has only been a matter of weeks since they met.

The last book ended on a cliffhanger, with Flynn’s big secret callously revealed, sending Natalie reeling. This book picks up immediately after, and we get to see the consequences of the big reveal. Again, the emotion is wonderfully written and I could easily empathise with what both of them were feeling. But as I have come to expect with this couple, it’s not too long before they are back in each other’s arms and determined to overcome their biggest hurdle yet. And as Flynn finally reveals his sexual dominant side to Natalie, it’s time for the final walls to come down (after an EPIC reunion and an appropriately heart-clenching and swoony grovel… ).

The whole series has been building towards this book. Flynn’s need for sexual dominance and his BDSM lifestyle is a huge part of him. He has dreamed about sharing that part of himself with Natalie, but instead turned his back on the lifestyle, thinking that her traumatic past would mean that she wouldn’t be able to accept it, and he was prepared to make that sacrifice to ensure her happiness. His heart has absolutely been in the right place, wanting nothing more than to be with Natalie in any way he can, so he gets the shock of his life when she shows an interest in exploring it with him.

“I want to do what you dreamed about.”
Her words stop me short. I raise my head to meet her gaze. “How much of it?”
“All of it. I want everything that you want. More than anything, I want to be everything you’ve ever dreamed of…”
I’m stunned and humbled to have somehow won the love of this amazing woman. “Christ, Nat, you already are.”
“Not quite yet, but I will be. Will you teach me how to be everything you want and need?”
I’m so overwhelmed by gratitude, I can barely speak. “Yes, sweetheart, I’ll teach you.”

I really like the way the lifestyle, and the way that Flynn introduced Natalie into it, was done. He explains it beautifully, makes sure she is absolutely okay with everything that he is doing, and the whole time he is gentle, tender and loving with her.

And OMG, this book is SO freaking hot! There is a lot of sex, from both POVs, and it’s hot, descriptive and incredibly passionate. But it’s not pointless erotica. Because Flynn’s dominant nature is such a big part of who he is, and forms such an important part in the progression of their relationship, each encounter is incredibly meaningful. It’s kinky, but it’s still fairly tame – Natalie is new to the world, and because of her past, Flynn is slow to introduce her to it all, and I loved that while he took it seriously, he was still able to be playful with her (Flynn’s obvious love of the vibrating butt plug had me laughing out loud).

“Try everything once and twice if we like it.”

Unsurprisingly, Flynn and Natalie explore this new part of their relationship with complete honesty and absolute trust in each other, and it just reinforces how amazing they are together. They are both strong characters, and even though they are both willing to compromise in order to make the other happy, it doesn’t come off as being sappy or spineless. Their individual strengths just makes them stronger as a couple and the thing I like best about this series is the fact that their relationship is so damn functional! Yes, they have a lot that they need to get through, but their love and need for each other is never in doubt. They are open and honest with each other about everything that they are feeling, and they are committed to making their relationship work.

Their love story is fast moving, intense, incredibly swoony, and not necessarily realistic, but it’s fiction - and it’s so dreamily romantic that I was happy to get completely swept up in it. Their love for each other is so effortless that it makes it all seem so easy, and I loved the lack of stupid or unnecessary conflict. As a reader, it’s very refreshing, and I applaud the author for that.

The story ends beautifully, but I would have loved an epilogue. Thankfully, Marie Force has announced that she is going to expand on with the series with Hayden and Addie’s book up next, and I am so excited! I can’t wait to watch them come together, and look forward to seeing more of Flynn and Natalie as the series continues.

4 stars.

It was nice for a change to read a trilogy with no stop.
Book 1 wasn't THAT good and I would stop at first book if I had to wait for the #2.
I am glad all the books were out.
Book 2 was soooo good.
It reminded me FSOG only this one happened in Hollywood and the H had no damaged issues. He was just a guy deep into
What stands out here is the H.
His character... swoon.
Gotta LOVE Flynn.

Hm... yeah, I gotta say this series didn't do it for me. The first book was okay, an interesting read, and of course I can't pass up a good Hollywood actor type story, but the second and third books of this series were snoozefests to me, and their only saving grace was that they were short and so I could convince myself to just keep trudging through it because I was almost at the end.

The conflict from the second book was seriously resolved like 10% of the way through this book, and from there on out it was just about Natalie and Flynn exploring BDSM, which didn't even seem to be that heavy BDSM, for all it was built up to be in the last 2 books. There were a bunch of scenes that made me squeamy too because it honestly felt like Natalie was in actual pain and not enjoying their "scenes" and was just trying things to make Flynn happy.

Still very puzzled by the extremely high ratings on this series. Sure Flynn can be swoony but there wasn't much plot, a lot of it was too flowery and fluffy for me, and I was honestly very bored and hoping for more action or angst or something to pull me in a bit.

My review:

In this next installment, it picks up right where book 2 left off. Natalie has left Flynn because she "needs some time to think" after having him lie to her face about his preferences. He tries to explain it to her, cries and begs her not to leave him, but she feels like she needs some time alone to process this. How can you trust a man who would lie straight to her face?

Flynn is not going to take this "separation" lying down and honestly they are only separated for like a day. I am glad to know that this drama is wrapped up really quickly. Flynn is still romantic, but this book goes a little further into the BDSM lifestyle. I would still say this is pretty "light" in regardless to that subject matter. Flynn is what I would call a romantic dominant. He is always telling her how much he loves her and how perfect she is to him while they are being intimate. I just love that!

I would have really loved to see him become a dad. It almost seemed like it was going in that direction for awhile, so I was left disappointed in that aspect. I am going to end with some of my favorite quotes.

"I'll spend the rest of my life making sure I'm worthy of all the priceless gifts you've given me, Natalie. I love you now and forever."

"Despite how it might seem, I'm actually your slave. You know that, don't you? I'm completely and utterly at your mercy."

"And I'm at yours."

"You can't ever leave me."

Ok !! So the first book was excellent ... The second book was too sweet ... This book ??
I have not finished it...
Two weeks !! Two weeks is what it took to overcome the trauma of eight years !!! not reliable at all I Don't understand how you can overcome such a trauma in such a little time... well I guess she's just a strong woman or Mr. Godfrey has a really big one !!!
There's no story here Only sex scenes ... mostly endless BDSM scenes and I became tired of these Lovebirds... Two stars ... very disappointed !!

Victorious picks up where Valorous left off with all of Flynn's secrets laid bare and Natalie needing time to process what she's learnt.

So she leaves LA and heads for New York assuming that she can just go back to her job and apartment.

But of course, her life is nothing but normal now, and Flynn is soon by her side, ready to explain why he kept his secret.
And luckily for Flynn, Natalie is willing to listen and try out the lifestyle.

Which leads to some seriously mind-blowingly hot sex.

But that is secondary to the love story. Which is at the heart of this trilogy and I just adored how this chance meeting awoke Natalie. Who had kept her heart locked down until she met Flynn and took a chance on him and something amazing happened.

And with emotion, romance, spicy moments, and great characters. This is a beautiful and powerful conclusion to the trilogy and I would happily recommend it to all.

I enjoyed this series. I did think that Flynn and Natalie were hotter together before the kink, but that's just me. I did appreciate the connection and honesty between this couple after his big secret was revealed. I loved the way Natalie accepted all of Flynn, just as it was swoon worthy for him to give up part of himself to be with her when he thought he had to make a choice. Worth the read if you don't mind stepping outside the box a bit;)

So I enjoyed this book I think in this one we really got to see Natalie grow into a women. She wasn't afraid anymore and was able to make the jump and be with Flynn in every way possible. I really enjoyed this couples story. It was such a whirlwind romance and they really worked very well together. Their chemistry was amazing. One thing I didn't like was the ending. I wanted MORE

When reading this series I found out, too much is just too much. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the story or how it's written. I just discovered, I'm not a Fifty shades type reader. I never read that novel, mostly because it was over publicized and I didn't know the author and could be judging the genre unfairly. Well I know this author and enjoy her work, so I thought why not. I don't think the point for me was to skip large sections because I got bored listening to the inventive ways they could have sex. Apparently I like the tease of having it more.

Why a 4, because the above is personal preference. Not the quality of the work, I just tried a genre that didn't work for me and it wasn't the BSDM. It was book 3's 60-70% sex rate, I got bored. 1-2-3 great scenes in an entire book usually works for me. This genre has a higher expected count.

Okay with that out of the way, I did enjoy this well worn vehicle of Movie Star sweeps lovely unsuspecting beauty off her feet. The BSDM and her own personal experiences make this book quite good, it's the reason why I kept going. I thought she wrote the desires, sex scenes and other key pivotal scenes with a lot of emotion. Definitely connected. The narration for this series was quite good. This might sound odd, but the story is good, the cast intriguing. I probably will continue the series, but skip the portions where sex is literally on every other page or so it seemed.

4 victorious stars!

 photo image_zpswpxarw2e.jpg

The conclusion to Flynn and Natalie's story. These two have battled and come through so much to get to the perfect place they do in the end.

In book three Natalie finds out about Flynn's sexual dominance and is hurt by the fact he lied and kept that from her especially with her past. Flynn is devastated and will do anything to make it right as he cannot live without his beautiful wife. They come back together and Flynn shows her the beauty and pleasure of giving him her sexual submission and work through all the issues they have.

Their relationship is incredible and they are always fighting for each other!

As a whole I loved this series but for me the last book in the series just feel a little short from what I expected. I think it was a great story with lots of great hot sex but I think not enough drama compared to the first two in the series and as nice as the ending was I wanted more from these two. I think after all they have gone through they deserved more of a happy ending then what they did that being said it was still great and would recommend this series for those wanting a hot read that is a bit different then your other reads.

Ah our final book has arrived. Book Three, usually a slight disappointment for me in trilogies. By chapter 2 Natalie and Flynn are already made up. Not much struggle from the catalyst of book 2’s cliffie. Flynn comes clean with all his Dom-ness and what that entails. Now I know that this is fiction and for the books sake we’ve got to jump ahead to head off to our HEA( a must for me!) but we take off at the speed of light!! This girl has been severely abused and just recently delved into intimacy since she was damaged. It goes straight to being taught all the ins and outs of a submissive. I guess I thought it would be a more gradual slide to all things D/s. Lots of sex thrown in to show how well Natalie is of accepting her husbands’ proclivities. There were a few side storied that were wrapped up within a few sentences and felt really unimportant to the story. A steamy read with less emotion for me. I would say that Marie Force as M S Force overall took well to her new foray in erotic literature.

Happy Reading~ Sherry

Disappointing 2 stars.

When I read the blurb for the Quantum Trilogy I was excited to begin the journey. So many people had given these stories 4 & 5 stars that I just thought it was going to be great.

Having made it to the end I have concluded that I really must enjoy different kinds of stories to most other people.

I cannot I believe that I am going to say this, however, the sex scenes became boring that I began to skip them. Also, there were so many repetitive moments - information given over, and over again.

'Victorious' gets 2 stars because I really like the idea of this story and the series, more than I liked the series (hope that makes sense).

Please don't let me put others off from reading this series, but I won't be reading any more of this author's work. I also need to be wary of reviews from now on, they are very subjective.

DID NOT FINISH!

4 - 4.5 Stars

I really enjoyed this series. My biggest complaint would be that I would have liked more of the mystery developed. Natalie's dad and mom, Oren, etc. What was the whole story there? I want some background details. I felt like that piece was missing, and I would like to know more rather than formulate my own theories.

Also, I am looking forward to the possibility of more stories from this Quantum crew, particularly Hayden and Addie, Marlowe, Kristian, Jasper and Emmett.

The conclusion to this trilogy was amazing! Flynn didn't grovel enough in my opinion, but I did like how they eventually worked things out and got their happily ever after! I liked the ending twist with Addie and Hayden, and hope to see them get their own book at some point! In fact, I'd really like to see all the supporting characters get their own books at some point or another! Would highly recommend this series!

Another good one in this series...I enjoyed Flynn & Natalie's story although I must say this one stretches the realm of reality for me just a bit with the easy transition by Natalie into Flynn's lifestyle given her past. Still a hot, erotic, sexy read about an entertaining couple facing their differences and working things out! A Must Read!

Trilogy review (books 1, 2 and 3 in the series)

The Quantum Trilogy is written by M.S. Force, the erotic alter-ego of New York Times Bestselling author Marie Force.

The first three books in the series (Virtuous, Valorous and Victorious) is the story of Natalie Bryant and Flynn Godfrey. Natalie is a New York City teacher with a past, a dark past that painfully unfolds while being well tied to the story and Flynn is one of the hottest man in Hollywood. Flynn’s present is the catalyst for much of this story, his fame and the attention it garnishes felt so true to what so many celebrities go through.

I loved Flynn and Natalie’s story; this story is not rushed as it beautifully folds through three books. Life throws these two challenges as secrets are revealed but you will never question the love these two share or their commitment to each other! They love each other fully and support each other.

As Flynn and Nat face challenges, you will find yourself wishing for them to find a way to balance her past with his present toward a forever happy!

It’s so odd to be on both character’s sides…as this trilogy came to a tipping point, I completely understood why Natalie left and totally understand why Flynn kept the truth hidden. A catch 22 that was extremely well written by MS Force as she has the reader somehow rooting for both characters! I am thrilled to have read these books straight through as I was able to live in the moment with Flynn and Natalie as they worked to hold onto their love.

Flynn is a male lead readers can fall in love with; he adored Natalie, he puts her first, and he supports her through so much as this story unfolds! He does so many acts of kindness throughout this story, they speak volumes to his character. It is clear when you meet his parents that they raised a wonderful man. Flynn’s parents were excellent role models and added to the story especially as some of the struggles are faced.

Oh, I loved how the trilogy name played into this one!

I am so happy I was able to read this wonderful story straight through, happy I was able to live in the moment and experience the whole journey with Flynn and Natalie.

This trilogy makes for a great binge read, maybe a long weekend or even a long plane ride; you can dive in and enjoy this beautifully written happy!

I was pleased to see there is a book 4, Rapturous, this one about Flynn’s best friend, Hadyen!

I loved Hayden in this trilogy, he always had Flynn’s best interest in mind, oh and he has a super hot scene in book 3 but more than that I hope he grabs what he wants, and what he wants is Addie (Flynn’s personal assistant).

I should add if you are fan of Marie Force’s writing you will really enjoy this. I didn’t find these books that much hotter (ok will maybe book 3) than her Green Mountain series and like that series, it has story woven with sex so if you are a fan of her writing 1click as it is sex woven with a wonderful story!

P.S. I also have to add read closely before you dive in as the three books have similar looking names so make sure to start with book 1 (yes I made that mistake on the beach in the sun glare and had to go back).
