I have been a fan of well-written erotic fiction since the early days of the Literotica.com website. The first author that drew me in was Tx Tall Tales, particularly his hot group sex story, The Perfect Game.

I wrote my first piece of fiction at age thirty-four. It was a short piece of erotica, called Señor Sexy, handwritten on graph paper. The story was so bad, I stashed in my pajama drawer where it rests to this day, buried under nightgowns I never wear and other assorted pajama drawer items. Wink, wink.

I didn't write again until I was on the brink of forty, bored by the long-term regular-job project I was working on. I started with two “enhanced” journal entries, stories that started with reality and ended up in fantasy land. I didn’t bother to tell my husband before submitting them to Literotica to share with the smut-reading world, even though he played a starring role in both stories. The feedback on the first two stories was encouraging, and I experienced a life-changing revelation: Making shit up was a helluva lotta fun.

When my first completely fictional story idea hit, I thought it was the only one. It was Hurricane Season, a completely ridiculous story about a gullible woman who accepts a weekend in paradise as a prize, and finds that she has to play with the man and two women who planned the trip. My favorite part of the story is the twist at the end. As I wrote the story, I wondered what Tx Tall Tales would think of it. It seemed to me to be similar to some of his early stories. (I had to wait two years, but I found out what he thought.)

After that silly story, I surprised myself several more times when new, completely different stories popped up in my head. As someone that never envisioned writing a single story, having seven to my name was a thrill, but the long-term real-world project was still looming over my head, so I put my writer shoes away for a year and a half.

In the summer of 2013, I made my way back to Literotica, just in time for the Nude Day Contest. I used that contest to pull a story out of me that had been playing at me for the whole year and a half between writing stints: Bare Naked: Skater’s Waltz. I was fixated on the idea of ice skating in the nude. That story doesn’t get a lot of attention, but it’s still one of my favorites.

The most surprising part of the journey from reader to writer has been the quality of the education I’ve found from a free erotica website. I met authors there with skills as sharp as the pros, and they were willing to share what they’d learned. I’ve learned a million things since the first time I sent a story to M.S. Tarot for a beta read. He had major revisions to suggest on my Halloween story, Jeffrey’s Murderer. The next story he read for me had half as many suggestions, and my storytelling skills continue to improve thanks to his help.

When I went back to writing in the summer of 2013, I put out a request to other Literotica authors to suggest stories for my reading list. Tx Tall Tales shocked the hell out of me by asking if I’d care to beta read his stories. I’m not impressed by celebrities, but I was star struck. Not long after those early beta reads, TTT read my story Hurricane Season. (I was right. He liked it.) With each story I write and TTT reads, I learn something new about tightening my writing.

Countless others I met at Literotica have influenced my writing as well. Second Circle, Bucky Duckman, AMoveableBeast, J. Kendall Dane, JC Winchester, Privates1stClass, ILienBagby are just a few. I wasn’t surprised to make friends there. I was surprised how much I learned.

I have a regular, mundane life with a full-time job, a husband, three kids, and two cats. Writing smut keeps me balanced.

Skater's Waltz is more than just your regular erotic romance. It's hot, like the Indian Chili kind of hot. It skims the boundaries between erotica and hard core porn, but the writer tastefully enfolds it in a romantic story.

Mark is a hockey player who has just moved into town. He meets Trish in a bar and the attraction was instant. Trish takes him back to her apartment and there the love story begins with wild and erotic lovemaking. As Mark's feelings for Trish developed, he discovers that Trish has a secret. Will he still love Trish after finding out the truth about her?

It was just long enough to stimulate readers and short enough to keep your mind from getting numb with the highly erotic scenes. A quick tasty snack for lovers of this genre.

Be prepared for graphic descriptions of sexual acts. For mature audiences only.

Sexy and Sweet Love Story

Skater's Waltz is a spicy short story by Patient Lee. When waitress Trish takes buzzed bar patron Mark home for the night, things get hot and heavy fast. They begin dating, as he works his furniture job by day and dreams of hockey greatness. Trish is also a passionate skater with fantasies about the sensuality of skating in the nude.

But nothing can ever be easy, a fact that leads to the reader to wonder how it will all turn out. I really loved the ending and recommend Skater's Waltz for readers who like their romance extra spicy.

Another hot story from Patient Lee! I like the way this one unfolded...a lot of sexual tension between Mark and Trish...lots of buildup, which I love.

The descriptions of the snow and the outdoors were excellent, and actually put me in the mood for winter. Loved the hot scene in the stock room! I'll read this story again over the winter, lying under my electric blanket.

This story is an erotic version of that old movie, The Cutting Edge. There’s lots of sex in this coupled with some ice skating and even less hockey. There’s lots of story beyond that is like a romantic comedy…. A fair read….

This story grew on me slowly. It starts out pensive, with images, sensations, and thoughts of a woman on ice; I found this aloof at first, but soon I was eagerly looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle. And it is a puzzle: a Hockey-player/furniture salesman, a cute waitress (with more connections than it first appears), and the mysterious figure skater whose thoughts are shared. I was surprised and delighted to find out how they all came together, and especially by the rich backstory. In the end this is a beautiful story of love and commitment.

Also, as an erotica reader I loved the scene in the stockroom. This one is worth a read just for that! (And no, I won't give it away. You have to find out for yourself...)

Take one part wounded figure skater, one part lonely hockey player, one part sex appeal, shake over ice, and you’ve got Bare Naked. The characters are endearing and the descriptions lyrical. I liked that the abuse survivor was portrayed as a strong person who is largely at peace with who she is. I liked that it wasn’t just about him saving her, it was about them saving each other. This is a sweet and spicy winter story, perfect for reading by the fire.

Trish is a waitress with a secret. While working one night she meets Mark. Mark is a hockey player and a new guy in town. Trish immediately takes him home and in typical Patient Lee fashion, an erotic romance ensues. Mark works at a furniture store with dreams of making it big in hockey, Trish herself loves to figure skate but has some erotic fantasies she wants to pursue, but she has a past that she isn't sure she can share.
Lee always delivers the right amount of passion with rich backstories to her characters. A quick and delicious read.

Stuck in the house, I asked myself, “What to do on a cool and rainy spring day?”

That’s when I downloaded “Bare Naked,” and read it in one sitting. I can always depend on Patient Lee to come through for me and turn a cold day in the South into a steamy afternoon.

Mark and Trish meet after a hockey game and enjoy some sporty play of their own as their evening together develops. All goes well until Trish reveals a sad secret she’s carried for years.

But she finds that Mark is much deeper than the horny guy she met in a bar, and the story turns from erotica to more of an erotic romance as the second half unfolds.

Beautifully told by the talented Patient Lee, “Bare Naked” is not only hot and horny, but also touching and sweet! I highly recommend not only this story, but anything by this terrific author!
