Book 1:
I received an ARC of Shifter. It was actually a great book. I have recently got into Bear Shifter books. So I was super excited to receive this book. The fact that the author wrote a book about an author who writes about shifters and meets a shifter in real life I found interesting and amusing.
How my heart broke for Cassidy. If you ever been over weight in your life you will relate to this book. She had to put up with criticism concerning her weight. It caused her to be self-conscious. My heart truly broke for her.
Cassidy who was wanting to make some new changes to a book she was writing had approached her editor about the changes. Her editor did not like it at all for she did not have the time. So her editor referred her to a new editor who might help her out.
Cassidy was excited when she received the email from the new editor agreeing to meet. Wow how Abe (the new editor) took her breath away when she saw him. He was like mouth dropping, panting melting sexy.
Cassidy who gets herself into trouble has to rely on Abe to help her out. Want to know what trouble she got herself into? How about if things heated up between Abe and Cassidy? Well read the book.
Book 2:
Cassidy is an amazing woman. She is not only a beautiful plus woman but she is confident, strong headed, smart, and passionate. She speaks her mind and will not let anyone bully her. I believe she is the type of person that will stand up for the ones she loves very quickly. I have to say it is funny how Cassidy is a writer who writes about shifters. Imagine to her surprise when she finds out they do excised.
Abe, I so love Abe he is my favorite amongst the bear shifters. He has been thru so much. It only seems fair in my eyes that he find true love and happiness. I would love to see Cassidy and Abe together for life with a bunch of bear babies running around..LOL Bears a very protective and can be quite jealous.
Cassidy finds she feels very sexy and attractive when she finds these hot bear shifters attracted to her. Though she finds herself sexually attractive to other men I think her heart truly belongs to Abe. I think Abe is more than just a sexual attraction.
I think the author has found a knack for writing shifter books. I am so glad I have gotten the opportunity to read this series. I seem to never get enough shifter books
Book 3:
Cassidy is an author that writes shifter novels. How funny is it that she not only meets one shifter but two. Boy, I bet she was not expecting the change that was getting ready to take place. Cassidy is a strong plus size woman. I love that she is such a strong character. She is not afraid to speak her mind, which can get her into trouble sometimes. Like that time she punched Bob Silk in the nose. *snicker*
Abe is a bear shifter who felt the need to come to Boston because he felt his mate was there. The moment he saw Cassie he knew that she was the one. He later discovered that Cassidy was a dormant Alpha Female. WOW, to have to break that news to her. So much for Cassidy to take in.
Cassidy who is attracted to two men Jason and Abe has learned that this men are bear shifters. The news is almost too much to process, but she is willing to accept it. She processes the news little by little. Now Cassidy has to feel out Abe the man she has deep feelings for to see if he is willing to allow another men in their relationship.
I so love this series and can only hope that Abe gets his wish. Though I like Jason I have to say I am very parcel to Abe. I think Abe is so amazing the way he is taking everything in. He has been thru so much and this shows such amazing strength on his part. I have to say I would of loved to be a fly on the wall when Abe seat down to talk to Jason.. LOL
I assure you if you have not read this series you will truly love each and every part.

" A Shifter for a Alpha writer"
Wow I do love a great shifter Romance!. The story line is amazing and the characters are incredible!. Cassidy spunky curvy young woman who is a Paranormal book writer she writes books about shifters. Cass has been writing about shifters for some time now, but now she wants to write an Next American Novel. The only problem she needs to get the last chapters of her last shifter book edited and her Editor can not do it right away. So her Editor refers her to Abe a sexy young editor who just moved to town. Abe is willing to do the final edits for her right away so they meet a coffee shop near Cass's home. Wow when Cass sees Abe it is hard to believe this sexy Man is an editor lol. Abe likes this spunky curvy writer and he loves her scent. Abe has a big secret he is a Werebear!. After Cass decides to leave the coffee shop knowing her book is in good hands she decides to go swimming which is her daily workout. At the pool some dumbass makes a remark about her being a whale and Cass looses it she hits the guy in the nose, and gets arrested. Everyone she knows is out of town so she calls Abe to bail her out lol. The officers who arrest her are big sexy men lol and they hate having to take her in . Cass and Abe grow closer then Abe discovers Cass is an Alpha Female which means she has shifter DNA some where in her back ground. Abe also knows she is his fated mate lol. Cass is really shocked when Abe confides all this to her and she finds out an Alpha female is destined to have more then one mate lol. This is one of those stories you can not stand to put down!. This is a must read bundle!

I like that this series takes a very different take on alphas and women in the shifter communities. It is a great concept to have Cassidy be a writer of paranormal romances and then get immersed in the actual world of shifters when she meets her new editor, Abe, who she learns is a bear shifter. Cassidy is a real fighter and she is not shy about asking for what she wants. Abe is a lot quieter and easy-going and the author takes time to build a romance. These three parts end right before some major changes are coming for their relationship. I look forward to seeing how things turn out for them.It should be very interesting. I received a copy from the author in return for a honest review.

When Cassidy meets her new book editor Abe they are instantly attracted to each other, but they do nothing about it for different reasons. Cassidy does not want to admit it since Abe is her editor and Abe wants to finish editing her book before telling her how he feels, plus he needs to figure out how to tell her he is a bear shifter! Once he gets the courage to tell Cass his secrets things go a little sideways. Can Abe convince Cass that he is telling the truth? And what about Jason, the sexy cop that arrests Cass, what role will he play in their lives? And what exactly is an Alpha Female?

I was given this read for an honest review. This is a story about a curvy girl who is comfortable with herself. She is an author of shifter erotic romance. She falls for Abe almost immediately upon meeting him for her editing job. He is instantly attracte to her. Being with Abe teaches her many surprising things about herself. This author has given us an interesting story that is both fun and hot. I am waiting for next part...enjoy I did.

Light, Crass, and Shallow.....
In the beginning, I was intrigued. And then it all went to hell....
Emerald, I think, was looking for a sweet bear-shifter romance with a strong bond with added benefits. What she put out was an easy read in the garbage section, and I'm not talking trash novel, either. This is straight up garbage, as in if I had bought a paperback, it would have been thrown in the trash.
Firstly, the MC is a big woman, she gets called a whale, and she punches the offender. Now she finds herself in the middle of a lawsuit, and Abe. Her boyfriend is a bear-shifter, and he has to manage her want of multiple partners. She, btw, is an alpha with shifter lineage.
Where I completely lose interest is the crass language. Some cussing, I can stand, but this is ridiculous. It's badly placed, and just lowers the book's position in class. "50 Shades of Grey" was better than this crap, and I don't even like that series.
There is no conflict. Yes, she is threatened by the lawsuit, but there's nothing creating tension. Even when she decides she wants a threesome, Abe doesn't do anything but think, "I'm jealous, but she gets multiple partners," and says to her, "Okay, I'll arrange it."
All the characters talk the same. Same speech patterns, same mannerisms, same dirty mouth, same tastes. There is no diversity.
Compliments fly everywhere. ** "What do you miss most?" "You're sweet to ask, well....." ** "What's she like?" "Full of curves." "Sounds like quite a woman." (Really? Because she's fat, she sounds like a great woman? Idiot....) It all falls flat.
I found myself skimming just to get to the end. I found no reason, no redemptive quality to keep me going.

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Emerald Wright. This is parts 1-3 of the Grizzly books.
Cassidy is a writer and when she gets overloaded she gets someone to help her, Abe. When she gets into trouble she leans on him and things blossom between them. Cassidy also feels an attraction with Jason at the same time and things start to heat up for Cassidy and her 2 men.
I love the characters Cassidy and Abe because they just seem to fit together and their interaction with the other characters was really well written. This has a great story line and the flow was spot on.
This is for any mature paranormal romance book lover because of sexual content.

Emerald wright shifter: Grizzly part 1-3
Cassidy is a paranormal shifter romance writer who makes a last minute change in her story but her editor can't make the changes needed to the book and sends her to Abe! He is a hot, newly divorced, bear shifter.
I really enjoyed reading the story. Cassidy is a chubby, funny, and strong character and she even gets stronger as the story goes on. Love the dinamics between her and abe. It does end in a bit of a cliffhanger but not a bad one. I an hooked enough to go look for part 4 lol. And I little warning it does look like there may be a 3rd guy added to the mix in the next book.

I absolutely love Emerald Wrights stories! Her Storylines are interesting, detailed, and fun to read , not to mention steamy !
Cassidy is a paranormal romance writer, and a good one at that. She makes her dreams come true, financially stable, so she decides to take a break, and switch things up alil. Things don't go as planned, especially when her editor is nowhere to be around.
Thankfully for Cassidy a rugged hot shifter Abe , new to town, is an editor. Just what she needs! The only difference is he can do much more to Cassidy then just edit her books !
You'll love this set from Emerald Wright! Definitely hot!

An author who is writing a series about an author, amused me in a good way. I am a plus sized woman who speaks her mind, who has been teased about her weight, but I'm still confident...all this helps me to relate to Cassidy. This is parts 1-3, but there is a 4th that's coming out...so the story is not over just yet. I love Cassidy's new editor, Abe, who is a bear shifter (if you didn't catch that in the title lol). He's a hottie! Then Jason, another shifter, who show's up, and feelings get confused. This series is spicy!

Strong female
Riley is pretty amazing. When she was interested in two men I was thinking that she was a cheater but instead her behavior has a wonderful excuse of being an Alpha which is normal. That's an awesome fantasy. I can't wait to see how it works out.

This was a great book and i can't wait for part 6. It has everything from a great writing style to a great plot which was executed beautifully. It is definitely worth buying and reading
