Watch Me Grow , a groundbreaking series from DK, brings readers ages 5 and up into the fascinating world of animal development. Close-up photographs give children an animal's eye-view of growing up, while simple, first-person text and fact boxes explain what is happening at each stage in the lives of different kinds of animals. Watch Me Grow introduces beginners to the cycle of life with gorgeous photography and accessible information. It's the next big thing in first natural history books.
I like to have a non-fiction series to pair with animal picture books, especially for the younger students. DK never disappoints. This one has wonderful photographs text that is simple enough that you can use with the younger set, but also panels with extended learning for older students. I will be looking for other titles in this set.
This book has amazing facts about elephants. This book tells you about an elephant's life from a baby to an adult. One interesting fact about elephants is that they roll around in mud to keep from getting sunburned.
I really like this book. It is really interesting. You should read this book.b
