A very interesting and easy read book on the 1904 Welsh revival and it's effects. Looking at the different influences which led to Evan Roberts setting Wales 'on fire'. Whilst I don't agree with the sensationalist theology and lack of emotional continence, there is something certainly to learn from a movement which had such record retention rates. This was also helped however by the connection with Welsh nationalism which also began springing up more prominently at the same time.
There is also a good film on YouTube by the author which says a similar story, but I'd recommend either.
