Emlékszel még Galléros Fecóra, Rumini barátjára, a Szélkirálynő bátor, mindig vidám, agyafúrt matrózára? Az ő titkos naplóját tartod most a kezedben, amit száműzetése izgalmas éveiben írt.
Ah, what an incredible piece of literature. Fecó is an incredible, sly, kind mouse and holds dear to his values. His humour is awesome, it's one of the few books where I laugh out loud during reading. What a great experience to reread his diary (for like... The 11th time?) :)) I loveee this series beyond words!!
The 4th book of the Rumini series tells us about the adventures of Galléros Fecó during the 3 years, he was not with the crew of the 'Szélkirálynő'. We get to know many interesting islands and people and he also gets into dangerous and always convoluted troubles. This was an ideal opportunity for a 'standalone' book in the series as he actually joins Rumini's crew back in book 2 after having been left at a port because of stealing from their cargo. To me, the fact that this book contained numerous stories, actually 1 for each island he visited - made it a little less engaging. We got to know many places and characters, but none are deeply engaging given they did not follow us through the whole book. Nonetheless, this helps immensely to flesh out Fecó's character, which is great. Chronologically the next book will take us back to one of the locations in this book, so I assume we will be able to meet Fecó's local friends again!
