These afghans are ambitious projects requiring a commitment of time and resources. Some knitting experience would be suggested before beginning one of these, no basic knitting instruction is offered in the book though there are directions for some of the advanced techniques in the back. Not everyone will be comfortable with the more bold designs offered, several more subdued patterns are included.
