Okaaaay, what the heck was that? I am shocked at how disturbing and ridiculous this whole thing is. I was ready for the CONSEQUENCES of reading this series after I finished the first part but oh boiiii, this is scandalous. I find it hard to believe that people spend their time and energy reading such things. I am all for hot steamy stuff but this is just unbelievably bad for me.

They know each other for less than a week and she is CRYING because he doesn't want to sPaNK her anymore??? And she is actually ready to become a sub to a man that is basically a stranger? Seriously? Who can even think that this is something great, exciting, or erotic? I am so done with the Billionaire's Rules series hoenstly lol.

This is the second book in the series. These books start right where you leave off on the previous books. I love Kelly Favor and her writing style. She has hot steamy short reads that keep you wanting more. She gives you some cliff hangers that keep you going. In this book Ivy goes to a bar with a group of temps, gets drunk spots Cullen and wants to make him jealous and he saves her.

Ugh! I just can't! This author's writing style does not work for me. It's so rigid and ... just... well, bad. It doesn't feel natural at all. I got to the part where the ridiculous and totally fake fight breaks out in the bar (seriously, that was really badly written) and I just couldn't take it anymore. Life is too short to read mediocre books.
Everyone, if you want authors to stop writing 'serials that only have two or three chapters at a time' STOP buying them!!!

A RIVETING CONTINUATION !!!
Wow! Consequence is the second book in Kelly Favor's exciting new serial, The Billionaire's Rules and it totally rocks! This is my very first time reading Favor's work but I must say, I am impressed with what I've read so far. This is a serial folks so there will be multiple installments and dare I say it, cliffhangers. Yikes! Each installment is relatively short which makes them perfect for a quick break or lunchtime read. Although it's difficult to get a full sense of the plot of this story from only a few pages, I believe I may have a general idea of the direction the author intends to lead us. The journey begins with Ivy Spellman, a recent college graduate who has been hired as a data entry temp by Biomatrix Pharma, one of the largest and most prestigious drug companies in Boston. Out of her group, she has been singled out by the handsome CEO of the company, Cullen Sharpe who has for no apparent reason chosen her to bring him his coffee. Ivy had always been the shy, quiet, mousy student who always sat in front, kept her head down, took meticulous notes and got good grades. She has just recently finished school and has no real job experience other than working as a part time grocery clerk so this is her first real job. She has no idea why Mr. Sharpe has taken an unusual interest in her but she only hopes that it doesn't lead to her termination. It certainly couldn't be because of her good looks because she would never be beautiful enough to attract the attention of someone like handsome, wealthy Cullen Sharpe. Even her manager, Emma Marks, seems to immediately dislike her. What the heck? After Ivy spills a cup of scalding hot coffee in Mr Sharpe's lap, she is called to his office to discuss her failure of his assigned task and to Ivy's surprise, he offers her tutelage in the form of.......discipline. What? Mr Sharpe presents Ivy with a choice but what will she decide??? She decides to leave his office but immediately regrets her decision. Ivy's indecision and inexperience torment her as she tries to resume her work. She is invited to a nearby bar for a drink after work with Lucas and several other coworkers. There is an altercation at the bar involving a very tipsy Ivy and a group of very obnoxious male patrons. And just who arrives in time to come to Ivy's rescue? Why, handsome, hunky Cullen Sharpe, of course! Apparently, the mysterious Mr. Sharpe is very attracted to lovely, young, inexperienced Ivy and wants to do more than just discipline her at work. Oh my! He may just want to possess her! Oh my glory! No spoilers from me but I will say this..... Super sexy dominant boss who may have control issues-check! Beautiful, shy virgin-check! Office politics, drama, domination and consequences-check! Heated attraction, sexy seduction, fiery passion and agonizing angst-you bet! The story is smart, exciting, provocative, arousing, seductive and well written. The characters are captivating, engaging and sexy. The verdict is still out but so far so good. We'll see what happens in the next installment. Seriously sexy and definitely entertaining!

So this starts exactly where the last one ended. Ivy is confused and upset about how she was treated by Cullen. Instead of leaving she goes back to her desk and decides to have a few drinks with her co-workers. She's so angry that she tries to drink away her memories of what happened in Cullen's office.
That is until someone decides to get a little grabby. She fends him off until she see's Cullen walking into the bar, she decides, why not flirt with the handsy man to get her bosses attentions. It ends up backfiring, or going exactly right. This to me felt a little like déjà vu. Haven't I read something so similar? So, she's rescued and taken to Cullen's home where he waits for her to sober up so he can continue where he left off in his office.
So, he runs hot and cold and not only is Ivy frustrated but so am I.

Not sure what to make of this one. At least Cullen finally touched Ivy, no matter how briefly. The scene wasn't hot per se. But it was something. What I wouldn't give to read his POV. Ivy is annoying me :(
I know nothing of this man other than that he's the CEO of a pharmaceutical company, has a lot of money, is crazy hot, likes to be called sir or Mister Sharpe, and likes to dole out consequences. Ok ya but who is he?? These facts were enough to decide to give up your virginity Daisy? Seriously? You've known dude for a day.

Despite not liking how Cullen can be such a major fucking dick towards Ivy and Ivy being a strong headed female but bend to his will because Cullen is that big of a dick, I kept going with the series--hoping and praying Kelly Favor would finally do me justice.
It lacked. This story lacks because each book is around 30 pages and the characters are just major assholes for no reason.

Well. That was a little bit intense. Not only did he save her from the bar but he has crazy intense feelings for her. Everything just happened so fast. I knew the little secret she has from the first book. But they way he reacted was nuts. We shall see when the next book takes us

I am really enjoying where this story is going. I liked the connection between the characters like a love at first sight sort of thing or at least lust. Books are really short which is a little frustrating but they keep me wanting more so that is what I want in a book so no real complaints here :)
