In the final installment of the Judas Curse series, Ben Stanford leads the charge against Apollo. With the winged god’s powers rising, a new threat forms on the horizon. Secrets are revealed, and alliances will be formed to help Ben on the path to defeating Apollo.
Ben must use what he can to discover the source of his power and his purpose if he’s going to have a hope in saving humanity from immortal monsters. But most importantly, Ben must decide whether or not humanity is worth saving in the end.

I have really enjoyed reading this series and this final book doesn't disappoint - the only disappointment for me is that there is no more!
As you would expect, all the outstanding questions are answered in this final book, and as in previous books, characters that I had grown to love died. I had half guessed who Ben was, but I was surprised to learn the identity of one particular character (sorry trying not to provide spoilers!).
I am sorry to say goodbye to this entertaining and imaginative series.
If you are deeply religious you might not want to read this series, the author plays fast and lose with the bible and religious history....having said that however....I found the story riviting; I had to get the next book as soon as possible to find out what happened next. The ending was surprising but made sense in the context of the story.
I only have one little pet peeve with the book. I couldn't help but be annoyed that Colorado was portrayed as a state full of nothing but hippies (even though I DO work in Boulder, and yeah, that town is really odd). Even though I MAY have a trace of hippy myself.
Some spoilers ahead, don't say I didn't warn you!
This was a great ending to an exciting and engrossing series. A series full of much research and time and lots of love put into it. The book (and series) is very hard to put down. As a self-published work, the editing is impressive, and nearly flawless (a strange bold sentence that seemed out of place in the entire book since it was the only one, and only a single one sentence page - extremely rare occurrence in my reading experience of e-books).
It was a satisfying ending and it tied up neatly (but not too neatly!) into a nice little bow at the end. I think, aside from reading the first book and nothing else, all 5 should be read back-to-back. But that may just be me. ;)
Before writing a review I must first apologies to Angella for not having patience to take in slowly what a series of 5 books had to offer. To know the end, I rushed through, skiped feeling a lot of thoughts that deserved more of soaking in.
I found the title for 5th book quite misleading. We all knew that Apollo was supposed to lose the battle against goodness that human detective & bunch of goodwill gods offered. The way Angella kept individuality maintained for each of the god and their characteristics is quite astonishing. To mix and match the god's personality in human body with all the humane emotions; to imagine & make others imagine the same is remarkably well executed. Somehow its all hard wired into our psychology that goodness always wins over evil, end was predictable but the revealation that were made along the way were just the ones needed to solidfy belief of everything is a small part of big cosmic plan. While there was a time when I was disappointed by the way all characters were made to stay still and do nothing, the pace would have been more faster given the fact that these are gods that we are talking about. While the gift of immortality & those who bear the gift were left alone with their free will, I wonder if the story can be summarized as an emotional enlighting from battle of crazy gods vs guardian gods & their children. As it is said, Its the journey that matters and not the destination, I would definitely like to thank Angella for taking me through hell of a supernatural roller coaster ride with a reminder of the fact that human has always been capable of being the greatest good.
While at times it seemed as if this tale would never come to its conclusion, the final installment satisfied all the outstanding questions in a very satisfactory way and the readers realizes that all was told as it needed to be. The final battle between Apollo and Ben's group of immortals and mortals culminated much more quickly than I had anticipated and yet it left room for the tying up all of the loose ends which Ms. Graff did quite efficiently. I have to say that the whole series left one pondering what we have known to be true with things we did not. I love a book (or a series) that is thought-provoking and leaves you thinking. These books all did that and I am so glad I embarked on this journey for the presentation and views of the Gods I would never have contemplated otherwise. I highly recommend all the books in the series and the only thing I will leave you with is to take your time between each installment for if you rush to finish them all, it can become quite heavy as your mind attempts to process what each one has to offer as you end one and begin the next. Go ahead ... Enjoy!
I have been following this series since I won a copy of the first three books, which got me hooked. I was very happy to find the fifth book out and ready to be red. It did not disappoint! Back to the world of gods, immortals and poor Ben trying to stop Apollo from devouring the world. Fast paced, it's a complete page turner and while you will cry at the ending, you know it's worth it. There were a lot of plot twists and reveals that I had not seen coming and I think this was a fitting ending to an awesome series which told me more about theology than I ever knew before. Excellent work from Angella Graff and she's made a fan of me for life. I will always read what she writes, because it's always on top form and well worth the time! HIGHLY recommended!
This novel...the 5th book to a series, took me..the reader to heights that left me breathless...closing my eyes to the pain and doubts, betrayal and ultimate sacrifice of Ben...the Maine character, atheist turned demigod....immortal as he carries on his immortal friend's journey.....and hope for human mind. Excellent Read...teeth clenched..eyes closed and heart pounding story that as the final conclusion of the story was reached...hope for perhaps more May come. This story lingers in my heart...in my mind....wonderfully written..thank you Angella Graff...thank you...
Most unusual series I have ever read. Absolutely unexpected. Very exciting and unpredictable. A bit heavy on the body count and probably should have been a touch shorter. All that said, it is one hell of a ride and well worth the time to read.
