Jo Michaels loves writing novels that make readers gasp in horror, surprise, and disbelief. While her browser search history has probably landed her on a list somewhere, she still dives into every plot with gusto, hoping "the man" will realize she's a writer and not a psychopath about to go on a rampage. Markaza is the stunning final full length novel in the Mystic Series by Jo Michaels. Wow what an ending! This book ties everythig together and finally gives you the insight into Markaza's story. She has to face her demons while guiding the women she brought together to form WSTW. The strenth this character shows, while keeping her vulnerable side, grabs you from the beginning and has you cheering her on. I can't imagine having to face the realization that you may have to sacrifice yourself and the people you love to save the world. Jo Michaels really gets you thinking and looking at people in a different light. I love books that give you something special and changes you after reading it. This series has climbed to the top of my all time favorites list. I am crossing my fingers the author writes more with these characters. I feel a sadness that the series is over, like what do I do now? These characters attached themselves to my heart and I NEED more! 5 plus stars!

Brilliant, fantastic and just AMAZING! Oh and by the way, make sure you have a huge box of tissues, you are going to need them.

What an amazing ending to an incredible series! This novella was longer than the others, starting with Markaza's story and then the action portion began. So much happens to every character one has to pay attention. The ending both happy and sad and hope Jo writes another novella of the six years later. Loved the series. Bittersweet now that it is over.
