"An Amazing box set!"
Each story in this collection is amazing all of its own. There are some very unique stories!.
"Her Alpha Mate" by Michele Bardsley- is is full of suspense and sacrifice. Alice finds out she can not give her Alpha mate cubs so she calls on the protector spirit of their pack to come and take her life. She does this so her mate can be free to take another. Only her mate will not give her up with out a fight even if he has to fight the protector spirit.This is a fantastic story!
"Bear Witch project" by Renee George- is a awesome story!. The story line and characters is incredible!. Ty is a Bear shifter who is trying to find a killer of supernaturals that seems to be a Witch. Ty is a protector of an Indian tribe and his fellow Bears. The tribe runs a casino. Sol is a young woman who is just coming into her powers only she does not know she is half Witch. She stops in at the casino to blow off some steam while on the way to see her Mother. Sol and Ty meet he notices right off that she is a witch he gets close to her to see if she is the killer. Ty does not understand why he is falling so hard for Sol when she may turn out to be the killer. This story will have you glued to the pages with its suspense,action and steamy hot Romance!.
"Her Destiny" by Brandy Walker- is dang oh so good!. You get humor, suspense, action and scorching hot romance!. Selena is a spunky sweet young woman. She was in a abusive relationship but got away. Now she is working in a morgue and has seen a lot of unanswered oddities. One day she had a black kitty show up and now he is her only companion. After work while going home Selena is attacked by her ex.boyfriend all of of a sudden her black kitty shows up and attacks the guy, but not only that but her kitty transforms into a big cat , then a blacked winged sexy man and saves her. Malcolm is a Familiar and her fated mate lol.
"Knight Force 1" by Sydney Addae- Knight Force 1 was formed to Assist Alphas in handling the rampaging violence from rebel forces and others who wish to harm the Wolf Nation. This story is amazing with suspense, action and super hot romance!.
"Darkness Rising" by Lisa Carlisle- is a riveting shifter turned Vampire romance. Antonine starts out as a Gargoyle who is a artist in Sculptures till one night in Paris he is attacked by Vampire rogues. Now he is a Vampire with Gargoyle traits. The Rogues hope to use him only Antonine has other ideas. Antonine leaves the rogue clan and heads to America. There he saves a human from being killed. Later he buys a Castle hires the human he helped to open a opens a retreat for Artists. Here he has friendship and may find love!. I am looking forward to reading other stories in this series!.
"Her Dragon Soul" by Julia Mills- This story is incredible Julia Mills has such a way with Dragons!. Liam is a Dragon shifter. He found his mate only he believes she she being controlled by an evil force. He hopes with the help of his fellow Dragons and their mates they can save his mate Hannah. This story is suspenseful. has action and red hot romance!.
"the Gathering" by Ellis Leigh- Oh what an amazing menage!. Dante,Blasius and Moira are wolf shifters Theirs is a very rare Triad. Moira is a simple she-wolf she freaks out when she sees the wealth of her mates. This puts a friction in their relationship. When she goes into heat things get so steamy that you will be glued to this story!.
You will love this story!.
"Wolves at the Door" by Sky Jones- is a amazing story with suspense,action,steamy romance between a human and a wolf shifter. Brooke goes to live for a year at a National park in the Scottish Highlands to study the flora and fauna. One night she is in bed when she hears tapping and scraping at her bedroom window. Then later she wakes up to it again only this time she finds a sexy man in her room. This story is amazing! It has all you need with humor.suspense,action and of course steamy hot romance!.
"Spring Mates" by Lynn Tyler- Oh well sorry I can not say much about this story. I am sure you will like it only I do not read Men on Men types of stories.
"Breaking the Storm" by Sedona Venez- this is an incredible BDSM romance!!. It gets super hot so much so it will have you fanning your self lol.
This was all the stories that was in the ARC I received and its not all the stories in this amazing box set!. So let me tell you this is a must read, Must have box set!

I received this book from Boxed Set Authors in return for a fair and honest review.

This compilation of novellas and full-length stories contains something to whet the appetite of any Paranormal Romance lover. Every tale is different but the one thing that is constant is the well-written and in-depth stories and characters. All of these stories are well thought out with no plot-holes. There are some that are either the precursors or novellas that come after the main book but they are all able to be read as standalones.

This boxed set has given me new stories from old favourites and new authors alike. I've certainly added some more to my 'favourites' list and will be looking for more from these.

Highly recommended for all fans of anthologies and paranormal romance.

I was only planning on reading a few of the stories in this boxed set, but I couldn't stop reading once I got started.

This boxed set has unique short-stories the will pull you in and keep you reading. Though they are all paranormal, the world in which they take place in and the lifestyles all differ and are very intriguing.

Some stories were by favorite authors of mine, and others were new authors-to-me and will be added to my list of authors to read from now on.

Fantastic Shifter Box Set! You get everything you could ask for in this anthology of Shifter romances. Wolves, Bears, Witches, lions, dragons, even Gargoyles!!! Each one is great and you get a huge selection of all types of heroes and heroines, even one that can chance from a small black cat, to a large black cat, to a cat with wings, to a man with wings to one hot as heck man! These Vampires wanted to use him for his gargoyle powers as their protector, not realizing that he would never succumb to their wants. Devastated that he could never see friends or family again the gorgeous immortal wanted to kill himself; Lisa vividly describes Antoine's torment, sadness, intelligence, kindness, power, courage and what he does to rise above the darkness to find contentment. I found this to be an inspiring story and a fabulous beginning for a new series.

HER DRAGON'S SOUL by Julia Mills:
Liam-the Purple Dragon are warriors representing devotion and royalty. He stands at 6'6, dreamy hazel eyes surrounded by gold flecks and is one hell of a sexy dragon shifter and finds himself needing help to protect his mate. Using black magic Cleland the Grand Draoio puts a demon inside Hannah a white witch; but when he learns Liam is her mate, he kidnaps him as he believes the Dragon Guard is better suited to hold the demon. Not knowing where he was, trapped in silver chains unable to shift and protect his mate who is only a few feet from him, he attempts to mind speak to his brethren-no luck; Julia transports her readers into a world of magic using vivid descriptions of banter between her unique and engaging characters, danger, passion, and seduction at its best. A fascinating story in every aspect. I only hope Julia doesn't run out of Dragons or colors she loves as I truly do not want this series to end. (no cliffhanger)

THE GATHERING: Blasius, Dante and Moira-The Homecoming by Ellis Leigh:
Moira who sports a dominant charismatic personality is now mated to Blasius (Blaze) and Dante completing the all-powerful triad of the North American wolf shifters. When Moira arrived at the mansion her new home the feeling of being a peon consumed her. The mammoth size chandelier in the foyer stressed her so much she was losing her identity. Dante and Blaze couldn't understand her 360 change in personality and she refused to tell them what the problem was. Discover what triggers Moira to go back to her dominant ways. Great story and BLAZING HOT!!!

WOLVES AT THE DOOR by Skye Jones:
Brooke had the most powerful love making night of her life with Drew, alpha werewolf who is next in line to lead his pack. While embracing her, he informs her that she is his forever mate. She knew he was a shifter, desperately wanted him, he told her he was going to mate her, she said yes, however, she neglected to ask what exactly that meant. She blatantly explains to him she would definitely see him again but as a mate NO! Drew being the gentleman that he is-states NO; it was mate or nothing, and leaves her with sadness in his heart. Does she feel bad yes, does she want him absolutely, does she go after him when he leaves NO. She packs a bag, takes her dog, and bolts. Fabulous, story has humor, engaging characters, passion, with an awesome outcome.

SPRING MATES by Lynn Tyler:
Cullen Stark beta to the Alpha Declan has been Adam Tulloch's lover for the past 6 years. Cullen has told Adam many times that he loves him but has never heard those words from Adam, and he aches to hear them. Spring mating season is here and Cullen is so downhearted his concentration level is way past minus zero. Though the lovers are living together Adam refuses to mate Cullen because his parent's mating failed drastically. Cullen believes Adam doesn't love him enough to mate him and decides he can't live like this anymore. He confronts Adam telling him that if their issues can't be resolved he will transfer to another pack with the help of the Alpha. A beautifully described and well written story. Discover who Adam talks to; to jump start his not so working brain...Incredible read!

BREAKING THE STORM by Sedona Venez:
Storm Credence is an audacious, sexy, intelligent, curvy, beautiful, Fae-witch burdened with the Credence curse (all true HUMAN loves of the Credence women die). Rock star Knox Gunner is a gorgeous sexy astute(DOM), he has an alpha controlling personality with one thing on his mind; CLAIM WHAT IS HIS. Knox is Storm's only weakness; but Storm is definitely Knox's weakness too.. This is a multifaceted story with a huge cast of unique characters-Sedona vividly describes banter, sizzling sex scenes that my mom neglected to tell me about, passion, and some very interesting tasks Knox requests Storm to do. Fantastic beginning for a series...HOT

I absolutely loved and enjoyed every story in this box set-there was only one author in the set that I knew and I left a hint in my review. These talented authors wrote imaginative and memorable stories that will not disappoint. I am glad I had the opportunity to read their stories. I am certainly HOOKED ON ALPHAS and highly recommend this box set. {I received an ARC for an honest review}

I'll be reviewing this set by book that I read.

Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley was an interesting twist and a short story. Fire Pack wolf pack has a lot of pride and strength so when Jonah the new alpha chooses Alice as a mate...considering she's seen as the weakest link she thinks hes nuts choosing her as a mate. They fall in love and are happy until they try for pups. She's barren and she is afraid he'll be seen as weak and be overthrown because he can't produce an heir. So....she leaves him and summons this fire spirit so she will die and be sacrificed so Jonah can find another mate to CAN give him what he desires. Jonah loves her and doesnt care she cant give him pups. He finds her and defends her and almost dies until this spirit finds out why she called him. He heals her and now can have pups. It was a sweet story but a little strange lol. Not bad.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George was...different. It was ok but needed a lot more development for the story to make sense. I got the gist of it but would have liked more. I also think Sol forgave and let Ty off the hook a little too quickly. She accepted things quickly but I dont know the story was just missing stuff.

Her Destiny by Brandy Walker was a good story. Sweet and cute. A mix of shifter romance and paranormal. Malcolm has been following Selena around for awhile as a small kitty cat. He's a strange sort of shifter who can morph into a bird of some kind, a big cat, and a small one. He is her protector but she thinks he's a little kitty cat who follows her home some nights. She finds out different when shes attacked by a crazed ex of hers. She's in lust with him because he's a good looking guy...and hes in love with her. They make love and he tells her everything about himself and her destiny which shes confused at first but accepts. Its a neat story.

Knight Force 1 by Sydney Addae was a little weird and off the wall when I started reading it. I was really confused like I missed something. Lots of characters and have no idea who they are or what the real story was. I tried looking it up and it seems its part of a series...good to know. So, if its part of a series it should be known otherwise it confuses the heck out of people which it did.

Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills was great. Its the continuing story in the Dragon Guard series which I've read them all and love them. I DO wish this was longer. Seemed a little rushed to me or maybe its because it was too short compared to the others so I expected more. Its about Hannah who was in book 8 as best friend to Melanie. Mel's Grandfather put an evil being inside her without her knowledge and slowly turning her evil and its controlling her. Liam sweet Liam isnt having it and is heartbroken that its being done to his mate. He fights like hell to get her help but gets kidnapped himself. Thankfully the bond is strong and his fellow Dragon Guard finds him along with spitfire Kyra...still love her! Takes some doing but along with Hannah's family and Kyra and Melanie they cast it out of her and this sweet couple can mate. I loved it just wished it was longer. :) Series isn't over yet though because good ol Grandfather is still on the loose.

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh was sweet. This is a continuation of Blasius, Dante, and Moira. She is overwhelmed and kinda freaked out. Blaze is the President and its a bit much for her to deal with. She's in this lavish "white house" place and she just doesnt feel like she belongs. She keeps this mainly to herself but Blaze figures it out and tells her he has many homes and is more than welcome to move things there. LOL...its funny cause she is surprise by this. If she would have just told them her feelings...uh yeah. Dingy! I've read this series as well and its a great series.

Wolves At The Door by Skye Jones was not for me but I read it. Brooke is a scientist and is studying this area shes been staying in until all these wolves come to her door. She's scared but Drew an alpha explains things to her and he is watching out for her. She's got a weird attitude about it. I really didnt like her much because she ends up being so selfish and hurts Drew after she AGREES to mate with him. He tells her everything before they even mate and she goes along with it. Then she thinks to change her mind which really hurts him and he's basically rejected. Then once she gets in trouble shes like Drew oh Drew I do want you. Seriously? LOL...sorry just didnt like it much.

Domlen's Way by Solease M Barner was different and sorta all over the place. Its a prequel obviously which I didnt really realize til the end. LOL. Basically, Dom is a dragon shifter but no pun intended hes a Dom as in dominant. He's a real jerk and has Givers which are women he used for sex...so like a prostitute but they dont get paid. Its in the realm of Kings and Queens so I guess it would be like a harem kinda. His mother the Queen wants to force him to marry his Giver Tika and he doesnt care for her just as a sex partner. Then one of his brohters informs him his mother is doing this because he supposedly falls in love with a wolf and she wants to prevent that. Wolves arent thought of well in this world obviously. Then it kinda ends there. I am familiar with book 1 about Draken. Which I enjoyed. Dom comes of really callous and unfeeling. LOL. Maybe when it comes out I might read more but not sure.

Rescued? By the Wolf by Cristina Rayne was ok. Not bad. Lots of things going on but she meets Nolan who kinda saves her butt in a pinch even though didnt really want to til she SAVES his butt. LOL...see how that works? Cute read.

Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley---This is very short story, but enjoyable in spite of that. Alice was the runt of her litter and she stayed relatively small as she grew. The new Alpha looked at the single females presented to him and chose Alice. There is a problem with their love and problem.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George---Sol was enjoying life until she turned 21. Now she has headaches and sees strange things. She called her mother and was told to return home immediately. Instead she decided to make a stop in Oklahoma at one of the Native American casinos.Ty is looking for a witch who has killed Native Americans. Will Sol be murderer? Or are his instincts right and he can act on the attraction he has for Sol?

Her Destiny by Brandy Walker---Selena lives close to work so she walks home and is accompanied by a small black cat that she has named Felix. He won't let her pick him up but he enjoys the warm milk she gives him. One night on the way home she was thinking about the odd killings that have been happening. This gives her attacker a chance to grab her. Will she be able to get away from him? Will Felix be OK?

KnightForce 1 by Sydney Addae---This is the first book of the KnightForce 1 series. It seems that everyone had adventures before this book. This book kept me entertained and I want to read the books that introduced these characters. It took me some time to feel comfortable with the names and the hints of previous actions/behaviors. KnightForce is being established to assimilate the half breeds and the full bloods together into the Wolf Nation. Silas, La Patron, has decided that half breeds need the same support of pack and the Goddess that the full bloods do. Now, in addition to teaching the half breeds all they need to know about being half werewolf, Silas has rebels running around who want to kill all the half breeds and don't care about collateral damage.

Darkness Rising by Lisa Carlisle---Introduces Antoine and Savannah's story which continues in Dark Velvet. Dark Velvet is their story from Savannah's point of view (POV). This story and Dark Velvet is part of the Chateau Seductions series. Ms Carlisle writes erotic fiction but this particular story has practically no sex scenes. It is a nice little story.

Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills---Dragon Guard series #9 tells you that while Ms Mills says these books are stand-alone, she also says that it is better to read them in order. So here we are in the middle of an unknown world and rules, for me at least. Liam and Hannah are mates but neither one has said that to the other. Liam is is very concerned about Hannah. He is almost completely positive that she is being controlled by a dark force. She sits there like a doll with no expression, no sparkle in her eyes, and doesn't answer Liam. He is afraid that the dark wizard is plotting something bad (again) and it involves Hannah. Is it the same dark wizard? Can the white witches restore Hannah back to herself?

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh---Moira has lived in a very small pack and they joined the National Association of Lycan Brotherhood to find mates. She mates with the leader of the brotherhood and his mate. The house she will live in is a large mansion with slippery marble floors. She is intimidated by the long hallways and a very large chandelier that makes her think it has teeth. Her mates want to know why she is so shy when she was strong and commanding at the brotherhood's social which is used to meet possible mates. Will she tell about her fears or continue to hide out?

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones---A woman goes to an area in the Scottish Highlands to study plants and animals. A neighbor comes by to bring scones and warn her to not be outside when it is dark. There are dangerous things in the woods. Brooke and her dog hear noises at night for several nights. Then one night she wakes and sees a man sitting in her bedroom. He tells her that he has been keeping her safe from the things. Who is he and how will she stay safe to carry out her studies?

Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler---Cullen loves Adam, but after 6 years he wants to be officially mated. Adam is afraid because his parents although they hated each other. Cullen needs the mating bite. Will Adam be able to ignore his parents' behavior and mate with Cullen?

Her Alpha Mate – Michele Bardsley
Different, well written, short and sweet, and a great way to start this boxed set. The author has taken shifters and given them a new dimension. The plot is unique, yet still has enough of the “normal” entities of a paranormal story. The characters are solid, stubborn and very much in love. Great story. A quick read, but a definite recommend.

The Bear Witch Project – Renee George
I liked this. A bit different from other paranormal, but very well written. Enjoyed “watching” Sol come into her gift, with the help of a little push from Ty, and Red Sun. Great plot, good strong characters. Not much to not like with this one. Well done.

Her Destiny – Brandy Walker
Yet another great story. I like the idea of a new witch coming into her power at a later age. I love the fact that Selena has an unusual career and is not totally freaked out when she meets the “real” Malcolm. These two are perfectly paired. The plot is fresh and the book well written. Would like to read more from this author.

KnightForce 1 – Sydney Addae
This book is the beginning of a series, and is an indication that it will be a great one to read. There doesn’t see to have any particular “couple” to concentrate on, but an entire group of characters forming the “pack”, giving us many to sort through. Once you get the gist of who belongs to who, it leaves you in awe as to how the author has intertwined them all together, giving you an awesome read. This gives me the feel of a series you might find on TV, with a group of main characters, but different episodes weekly covering many different situations. I guess we will find out soon enough. Loved this book and am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Darkness Rising – Lisa Carlisle
Ughhhh! A real cliffhanger, but what a wonderful story. This is extremely well written, and has a plot like no other that I have read. I love how the main character, Antoine, has evolved over time. He leaves you feeling compassion and frustration for his situation, yet love for who he has become. My only wish was that we would have had a bit more on Savannah, but I guess that is why it is such a cliffhanger…to keep us in suspense until the next episode. Can’t wait for the next part.

Her Dragon’s Soul – Julia Mills
Oh my! What a great book. I can definitely see this as a series, even though, with the exception of the last few pages, it could be considered a standalone. Of course, the last few pages hint at further episodes, which would make me a very happy reader. This is an easy read, with just a bit of mild violence and lots of love and a bit of steamy sex thrown in for good measure. The characters are wonderful, giving you insight to a new dimension. The plot is different from others and keeps your interest. Loved it.

The Gathering: Blasius, Dante, and Moira The Homecoming – Ellis Leigh
Wow! Love this. This book has meat that you can dig your teeth into, grab onto and run with it. The plot is new and fresh. The characters are strong, yet have many quirks that give them colour. Love the fact that this was about an established, mated pair, who after centuries, have found their third, completing their triad. Great story, not too long, but complete. Well done.

Wolves at the Door – Skye Jones
Great short bedtime story, complete with the big bad wolves. The plot has borrowed a fanciful flair, giving the impression of a “little red riding hood”, adult version, yet with many twists and turns that are truly unexpected. Love the characters, especially Drew and Brooke. Great read.

Spring Mates – Lynn Tyler
Awww! Make sure you have your tissues handy. This is a wonderful love story. Short, but complete. It tells the whole tale and does not feel rushed. The characters are strong, yet have enough softness to be real. This is the first I have had the pleasure of reading from this author, and hope to read more from her in the future.

Breaking the Storm – Sedona Venez
OMG! Serious cliffhanger here! Awesome book, and I am truly hoping there is another instalment to the story. The plot is a wonderful fresh idea, mixing all of the “bad boys” in one book. Between the rock stars, shifters, witches, and humans, male and female, we’ve got enough hotness to burn into a bonfire. The characters are HOT and sexy. They portray many traits, including confidence and insecurity, lust and love, and lots of heat between each other. The sparks are truly flying. This is a great way to finish the boxed set.

Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley--- I've read some of the Pack Rules Series and loved reading it so this was just a nice treat. The story line was great and showed you true love really works out.--- Running from her mate to give him a chance and having cubs. Giving herself to their god to get favor for the pack. She doesn't realize that she can't get rid of him that easily.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George---Witches and Bear shifters. What can be any better?? Good plot and if you like shifter stories this one is a good one to read.--- A witch killing bears. A new witch who doesn't know what she is or why things keep happening. He thinks he is going crazy or that things are just wrong cause he wants a witch. A bad guy, a good guy, and a witchy momma.

Her Destiny by Brandy Walker--- This is a first book by this author. I have to say it was a good story and will be looking for more in this story line.--- A powerful witch who is in the dark and a shifter for her to love and keep her safe. She works in the morgue and is hiding from a crazy ex. He's a kitty watching over her, He saves her from the crazy ex then shows her real love.

Knight Force 1 by Sydney Addae--- I've read the first four in the La Patron series so I wasn't completely lost with this story. It would have been more confusing to someone who hadn't read any of it. I love read this author and need to catch up on the rest of the series and the spin off for Asia.--- Rebels going after half breeds and crazies with flesh bombs. Love between mates and children and of course, there's Angus. Can't go wrong with this book.

Darkness Rising by Lisa Carlisle--- I've got the first book in the series and haven't even started it so this is my first for the Chateau Seductions series which is good sine it is 0.5 in the series. I'm happy to get the chance to meet the character's before getting into the series.--- Antoine- Shifter turned Vamp. Savannah- Poet. Something between the two of them and can't figure out what. This story tells how Antoine gets turned and how he met and started to want things he didn't think he deserved.

Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills--- First book I have read in the Dragon Guard Series. Have to say I will be looking into the rest of the series as soon as possible. I loved this book, but was lost when I first started reading and had to try to figure out what was happening in the story line.--- Crazy old wizard and a demon being put into the body of a dragon's mate. A dragon knowing what he wants and gets it after some messed up situations. Good book.

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh---I had to quit reading the Shifters Gone Alpha book just to read this book before this one. I loved how this one shows after the mating of Blasius, Dante, and Moira.--- Moira is not ready for the crazy rich mansion she moves into to be with her mates while they go back to working the way they always have. Now she has to find her place in their world.

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones--- This is the first book I have read by this author, but have to say I will be looking into reading some more.--- Brooke is in the middle of nowhere for her job with her dog Sandy. She gets more than she bargained for when she meets her mate. There's a crazy shifter who takes her then she realizes what she really wants is her new mate.

Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler--- M/M book. Not really into that type of book, but have to say that it was a pretty sweet story.--- Two men that have been together for 6 years and one can't commit like the other wants. An ultimatum is given and that results are the best part.

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez--- First book by this author. I had to buy the book after I read this part of the full length. I loved this book.--- The Credence curse is the worst thing ever. Can't fall in love with a human. Storm starts to fall for Knox before he even makes it big, but there are people who want to keep them apart. Four years later they are throw back together and Storm decides she doesn't care what happens as long as gets to keep her man. Secrets come out and thing get put into perspective for both of them.

This is a new set of books based on alpha shifters written by some wonderful authors. I read all of these before and loved all of the stories. I will review each story individual.

Her Alpha Mate by Michelle Bardsley... tells the tale of Alice Mason, the alpha's mate and wife who finds out that she is barren. So she decides to sacrifice her life to ensure the pack will go on with a heir for the alpha. Jonas, the alpha, refuses to let the woman he loves go without a fight. Will the lovers be able to fight what is coming for them or will their love prevail.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George... Sol just turned twenty-one and strange things begin to happen. On her way home she meets Ty and is automatically attracted to him. Ty feels the same but there is a problem, he believes that she is a murder suspect. When someone else is murdered Ty blames Sol and takes her to his uncle to find out the truth. While there they must make life or death decisions. Can true love keep these two together when the are suppose to be enemies.

Her Destiny by Brandy Walker... Selena really had no life she works the night shift at the morgue and come home to feed "Felix" a stray cat. When she is attacked by her ex-boyfriend, Jason, Malcolm comes to her rescue. Selena doesn't know that she is more than she knows and that Malcolm is her protector. Will Selena be able to believe Malcolm and come into her own or will she walk away?

KnightForce 1 by Sydney Addae..... This book is a spin-off of the La Patron series and features our favorite characters from the prior series. Silas decrees half breeds are equal as well as the full-bloods and creates a special task force to make sure this happens and also to take care of the violence that the rebels and other conspiracy groups throw their way.

Darkness Rising by Lisa Carlisle.... Is the story of how Antoine and Savannah from the story Dark Velvet meet and how Antoine became a vampire.

Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills.... This is new book in the Dragon Guard series. Liam knows something is wrong with his mate Hannah and with the help of his friends and their mates they will find out what. Hannah knows that something is wrong with her and wants badly to make it stop. Working together everyone will play their part to find and end the evil that surrounds them.

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh.... This is the follow-up to the story Gathering that show the most powerful triad after they are mated. Moira isn't comfortable in her new home and her mates don't know what is wrong with her. It takes another shifter to get Moira to admit to her insecurities and come clean with them.

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones.... This is the first book in a new series Brooke comes to the Scottish wilds to study wolves but what she gets is Drew a hot sexy Alpha who wants more than one night with her. Brooke wants him but she isn't willing to become his mate because he fails to tell her what it means to be a mate. When Drew leaves after giving her an ultimatum she packs her bags and leaves. When she decides that she can't live with out Drew she tries to return, but someone is watching her. Will Drew find her in time or will Brooke be lost forever?

Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler... This is a M/M love story so if you are uncomfortable with this then this story is not for you. Cullen has loved Adam for years and wants to mate him. Adam also loves Cullen but doesn't want to mate him after seeing the disaster that his parents made when they mated. Cullen can't take much more and tells Adam he wants out if he refuses to mate him. Will Adam be able to overcome his fear or will he lose the love of his life?

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez.... Storm is Fae who is cursed with not being able to love a human or they will die. Knox is a Wolf Shifter. Knox is a Dom who wants nothing more than to make Storm his no matter what he has to do. Will the Credence curse be broken. This story is very hot since Knox is also a rock star.

The other two stories were not part of the ARC box set so I was unable to read so I didn't do reviews for those.

This story showed that having each other and love will help overcome any obstacles in the end. They are both wolf shifters. Alice Mason is running away from her Jonas, her mate, to give him a future without her to have cubs with someone else. Alice plans to give herself to Kunda to get favor for the pack. She doesn't realize that she can't get rid of Jonas or Kunda that easily. You'll just have to read it to get the ending. Good book.

Malcom Turner, her friendly shape-shifter, as a black cat she named Felix watchs over her. He saves her, and has a good talk about her destiny and him. Good book.

There is a link at the end of the story to get for free directly from the author first three books in the La Patron: series BIRTHRIGHT, La Patron, the Alpha's Alpha, Book 1; BIRTHCONTROL, La Patron, the Alpha's Alpha, BIRTHMARK, La Patron, Alpha's Alpha, Book 3 for a limited time only. By reading the first three books in order before Knight Force 1, I was able to understand the some of the characters better and what drives them.

Knight Force 1: Is a spin off from the La Patron, Alpha's Alpha series. La Patron had a group of specialized werewolves called Knight Force 1 to handle tough situations for him. They go after rebels who kill half breeds and their human mothers. There is a lot of action and suspense. This story can be read by itself or with the other 3 mentioned above in the Alpha's Alpha series. Good book.

I was gifted an ARC Copy of this book for an honest review. What a wonderful mix of stories. I throughly enjoyed reading all of them, some more that others.
Her Alpha by Michelle Bardsley is the story @ Alice and Jonas. Alice Mason is the mate to Jonas, the leader of the Fire Pack and because she is barren she believes that if she leaves and summons the Kunda Spirit her Jonas and the pack will be safe. Jonas will be able to have an heir. Jonas can't believe Alice would leave and summon Kunda, what was she thinking?. Jonas finds Alice in a cabin the same time the Kunda comes for her. Will he be able to save her? Gotta read the book for the exciting ending.
The Bear Witch Project by Renee George is a first for me reading about shifter bears. Wonderful mix. A great Love Story between Solange Termain, a Sorcellarie withch, but doesn't know it yet and Ty Waspe, bear shifter of the Osage Clan. A side trip on her way home to see her mom, Alice stops at a reservation casino to think things through. Ty is there and is drawn to her,his bears says she is his mate. But neither realize that a another Socellarie has other plans for Ty.What could it be?. Great story
Her Destiny by Brandy Walker is such a fun story, it had me giggling throughout. This story is about Selena Perry, a night worker at the morgue and a Supreme Witch. Following her home after each shift, she is greeted by a cat she has named Felix. Oh but Felix is just not a normal cat, he is what they call a Thalocian, shifter of sorts that can change into many forms, including human. Great story you have to grab, I look forward to more of Brandy Walker's writing.
Knight Force 1 by Sydney Addae: This story consists of alot of characters and what characters they are. Angus, wolf shifter, is shot and taken captive, they then take his blood, leaving him for dead. The Knight Force is trying to stop all the bombings going on, but when they hear Angus is missing, they must find him. Fast paced and more twists and turns to boot. Good Read
Darkness Awakened by Lisa Carlisle. Another new shifter for me, gargoyle!! This story starts out with vampires attacking Antonie, the gargoyle, they want to turn him so they can have a vampire with super gargoyle strength. Years after leaving the nest of vamps, Antonie saves a boy, Cameron, from an attack. From there, the Chateau LeRoche is born, and oh what happens there, lol.. Awesome fast read story!!! A cliffhanger that will have you screaming.
Her Dragons Soul by Julia Mills, Awesome!! Love her books. This is Liam and Hannah' story. Dragon's, Lost Souls ,true mates, sigh..This story is to die for. If you haven't read any of the Dragon Guard Series, you have got to!!
The Gathering by Ellis Leigh: This is a shifter wolf story of 2 brothers, Blaze and Dante, and their she-wolf mate, Moria., together they make up the triad union. Squeal, this book was great. I loved that a simple chandelier could cause such trouble.Oh and when a she wolf goes into heat watch out, lol.

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones: When a woman scientist Brooke Buchanan takes on a job for 12 months as a ranger in the mountains after being bitten by a werewolf in her home town. Drew is a sexy hot wolf loup-garou shifter and will keep Brooke safe when the other's want her for themselves. Hot, steamy read, Loved it.

Spring Mate by Lynn Tyler, is a love story between two male wolves, Adam and Cullen and what happened between them two. Adam refuses to get mated, but why?

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez is a crazy fun shifter, rocker story.
Overall I enjoyed all of the books in this bundle.

As the Fire Pack alpha’s wife Alice Mason is unable to conceive a child with her husband so she goes to the extreme in trying to free him from his bond with her and allow him to find a mate that can give him children. The store was good but the characters needed more depth to them.

***The Bear Witch Project by Renee George 3 1/2 Stars

Bear shifter/ shadow warrior, Ty Wasape is looking for a witch that is killing people when he see's curvy witch Solange Tremaine at a slot machine at the Osage casino and has to fit his attraction to her while proving she's not the killer. Story was just ok. No real depth to the characters. Connection felt strong between characters then dropped dramatically once Malcolm was no long Felix.

Selena Perry has moved and begun a new life while trying to hide from an abusive ex. Unknown to her she is the last of the Supreme Witch and has made alley cat she calls Felix, who is actually a winged man named Malcolm, her familiar. When her ex finds her and almost kills her, Felix/Malcolm comes to the rescue

***Knight Force 1 by Sydney Addae 3 1/2 Stars

La Patron sends his warriors Asia, Angus and Tyrese, to the Rocky Mountains to prevent more deaths that could make humans aware Shifters exist. The story idea was good and interesting but there was just way to many characters, titles for the characters and connections between the characters plus to many things going on that is was confusing. I think the author tried to hard to put to much into the story.

Antoine Chevalier is a gargoyle shifter who is attacked by rogue vampires and turned in the hope that he would then side with them and protect them. I liked this story a lot. I've read the first 3 books in the series and find this author to be a great world builder and story teller.

Part of the Dragon Guard series that tells the story of fated mates Liam and Hannah. I was a bit lost at first with this one. Basically the story is exorcise a demon save the world.

***The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh 4 Stars

Blasius and Dante try to make their mate Moira welcome in their home. However the mountain girl is finding it hard to find her footing in her new mates wealthy life style. It was nice to revisit with these characters again.

***Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones 4 1/2 Stars

Brooke is studying Scottish wildlife when she finds sexy Drew and alpha in training. She's his mate but can he get her to see that? I like this short story is felt complete.

***Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler 5 Stars (M/M)

Adam and Cullen have been together for years now and Cullen wants to get married. However Adam comes from a dysfunctional family background and isn't ready for the next step. I enjoyed this story and how it played out.

***Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez 4 1/2

Storm a curvy fae witch and Knox a rock star/wolf shifter share a past but a curse and a psychotic ex-boyfriend may keep them from sharing a future. I've never read this authors work before but I liked this story enough that I will be looking for more books by this author.

Getting all these great stories at one low price is a great value. You may discover a new author or get the chance to revisit with a favorite.

I have to say my favorite is the first story ""Her Alpha Mate" by Michele Bardsley. It is a story about an alpha and his mate and her willingness to sacrifice everything for his future. Strong characters and a great story make it a great read. I will definitely check out more books by this author.

"Bear Witch Project" by Renee George is another strong story for me. The alpha is investigating some murders they believe are caused by a witch and discovers a witch just coming into her powers. It is an intense story and features Native American shifters which I found very interesting.

"Her Destiny" by Brandy Walker is about a unique shifter who introduces himself to his mate as a household cat. She falls for him in all his forms. Sweet and short and very enjoyable.

"Knight Force 1" by Sydney Addae was a little harder for me to get into as there appeared to be a lot of back story. I enjoyed it and it is well written. I am going to read some of the other stories featuring these characters.

"Darkness Rising" by Lisa Carlisle is an intriguing read about a gargoyle turned vampire and his desire to help those in need who have artistic aspirations. This story has the least amount of romance.

"Her Dragon Soul" by Julia Mills is a very good read about a dragon shifter trying to save his mate from destruction. She is from a family of white witches. In many of the dragon shifter stories I have read, they don't associate with witches so it was interesting to see a different take on the relationships among the species.

"The Gathering" by Ellis Leigh was by an author I have read many other stories. It was great to revisit the triad of Dante, Blasius and Moira as they adjust to their new home together. You don't see many stories where the two males are in love with each other as much as they are with the female in their relationship. It leads to an interesting dynamic. If you like it, definitely check out the original story of their meeting and the other stores related to the mates who meet a The Gathering. They all have really hot relationships.

"Wolves at the Door" by Sky Jones features a woman on her own in the wilderness who is protected by a wolf shifter and her introduction to his very different world. Good, solid storyline.

"Spring Mates" by Lynn Tyler is a male/male romance which is a theme I have not read before. The basic storyline is very similar to other stories where childhood issues impact the desire of one to make a commitment and they almost the one they love. The alpha is also homosexual and the group is very accepting of alternative relationships.

"Breaking the Storm" by Sedona Venez features a family that arranges escorts for those primarily who are not human. I have read another story featuring the family and really enjoy reading about these cousins and their mom/aunts. They all face a curse and try to do everything they can to avoid it but them men in their lives won't let them run away too easily. In this case, Storm is resistant to being dominated and he forces her to take on a submissive role she has fought. They have a great chemistry.

3) Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills is a wonderful story centered around a dragon shifter and struggle to save his mate, his kin and the world. And who doesn't love a sexy, brave dragon, right?
4) Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley is a wonderful story of a courageous, devoted woman who is willing to sacrifice everything including her life in order to save her pack and the ancient bloodline of her husband.
5) The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh is another winner featuring some of our favorite characters from Leigh's The Gathering Series, as they try to navigate the pitfalls of their new life.
6) Rescued? By The Wolf by Cristina Rayne is an absolute riot when a lion and a wolf shifter are thrown together by chance but stay together by circumstance and later by choice.
And that's just a few of the tasty morsels waiting for you in this incredible bundle. I've read them all and didn't find a bad one in the entire collection. I highly recommend them all for a fabulously satisfying and delightfully entertaining read!

A quick paced anf funny at times short story about Alice who is married to the Alpha but can't have his baby and summons the clans spirit to take her as a sacrifice so he can be free and choose another woman.

Jonas has tried to explain to his mate how much he loves her and what he means to him but now he is running against time trying to save her from the Spirit that wants to take her away from him

Can they manage to overcome their personal probles and defeat the Spirit?

Quick paces,funny with hot sex scenes and intresting characters!

It was an ok story.



The Bear Witch Project-Renee George 3 stars

A short story that made me smile...

There was ackwardness and action and it made me smile.

Sol is a witch but she doesn't know it.

Ty is a bear shifter tracking a witch that is killing supernaturals.

When the meet the attraction is instant but can ty see that Sol is not the killer?
Can sol accept as much herself as much as Ty for what he is?

An intresting story .




Her Destiny-Brandy Walker 2 stars


Selena works in a morgue and has no idea she is to be witch.

Malcom is her familiar there to protect her and guide her.

When her ex abusive boyfriend shows up Malcom is forced to reveal who he is and what his purpose is in his life.

Will Selena accept her righful place and Malcom?

Can He save her and persuade her that they are meant to be together?

A short story that at parts was intresting and other parts not so much.

I found it not of my taste as everything a happened too easy .





Knight Force-Sydnae Addae 5 stars


I recently had the joy for getting to know Silas Knight and the La Patron series and i am happy to read the first book of Knight Force.

As always the book is filled with action and an intresting plot.The only bummer here is that if you haven't read the LaPatron Series all the names and all the things that are going on are too confusing.

Still fast paced and action packed this start of the new series will capture your interest!!!

It is such a jo to finally see the beginning of Antoine's story and how the Rochelle Cheauty came to be.

Antoine Chevalier is a gargoyle shifter living in Paris. When he's attacked by rogue vampires,
he's forced to abandon his identity and must recreate himself in a world now filled with darkness.


This book has action and love and struggle...it has it all.

If you haven't read the Rochelle Cheauty Series then this is a good start and i can promise you you will love it.

If you have already read the Series then you will love to read the beginning of all.

Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley. This short story is somewhat sad, Alice
is noble and self sacrificing. Jonas is all alpha, gorgeous, strong, and
totally in love with his mate. Can Love conquer all? I liked the light
BDSM, it was well written, and makes you want more.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George continues in the world of Midnight
Shift and the other worlders. Solange has had weird things happening around
and to her since her 21st birthday, she has no idea why. Ty Wasape is
tracking a serial killer when he meets Sol, could she be a killer? For some
reason they're drawn together. This novella gives you enough background on
the Other Worlders that you understand their environment and can immerse
yourself in the story.

Brandy Walker's Her Destiny feels like a beginning to a much more involved
story, I hope. Selena's life so far hasn't been great, but she has a friend
in a stray cat that follows her home, every morning after her night shift.
What's her destiny? Worth reading to find out. And I hope there is more
coming.

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh follows Moira, Blaze, and Dante
after they have mated and return to he Presidential estate. This story is a
good as the rest. This world is much like our human world, with the
exception that the inhabitants are werewolves. Add to that that Moira is
totally out of her element and it makes for an enlightening story. Well
written, and very entertaining.

Skye Jones' Wolves at the Door was a complete story in a short amount of
pages. I was impressed with the feel of the characters, and their world.
Drew is an Alpha in waiting and Brooke is human, can they be together? Will
the scientist in her prevent her from believing in the preternatural? 4-1/2
big old shiny stars!

Lisa Carlisle's Darkness Rising is the beginning of a series about a
gargoyle shifter/vampire Antoine and a human Savannah. This story basically
set up Antoine's back story, he has just met Savannah at the end of this
story. I am not a fan of anthologies that include cliffhangers, but if you
like a series this one is really in depth, and well written.

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Vendez happens in the middle of a serial. It
has some interesting BDSM ties, but I don't know if it is enough to make you
want to catch up with the serial. It is well written and you can read
between the lines to feel what's going on for a standalone but there's no
HEA.

Julia Mills' Dragon's Soul continues her Dragon Guard series. Each can be a
standalone, and I had read the first one previously. This short story gave
enough background that you still enjoy the story because of the way each
character is portrayed you can imagine there world. 4 stars.

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh - I started reading this one and it started ringing bells in my head. So i stopped googled the author and went and read "The Gathering: Blasius, Dante, and Moira"... Then I read this novella and I was spot on remembering it all and it made sense. Great story and of course i love Ellis Leigh

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones- This was a different take on the normal shifter mating to me. I liked it though. New author for me to stalk as well going forward

Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler- M/M several couples and it got confusing at times but once I figured out who was who and that they were all men i got into the storyline and it was sweet read.

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez- This is one of the stories in the book we only get PART of the story you have to buy the book to get the rest of the story which will be fine except i have to wait til the first of the month and this is a REALLY GOOD READ! HOT TOO. There is a curse the Credence curse can't fall in love with a human. Sadly Storm has fallen in love with Knox years before he became big in the music world. things or we should say person separated them. Now Knox has brought them back together. Oh Iforgot Light and Storm run a high class escort service and yes they are NOT of this world.....

There are other stories some are kinda weird to me and take some getting into but once I read a bit each one was well worth the time to get into them.

This ARC was given for an honest review. This book has many great stories in it. I've read quite a few of these authors before so it was nice to read more into their series. The ones I had not read before, most will be new authors for me to follow.

This was another one that was really quick, but I felt the author was able to flesh out the main character really well. I also liked how the female, at first, misunderstood the mating and rejected it. That rarely happens in these types of stories and I thought the author did a good job with it.

This is a great boxed set. I always get the boxed sets because the stories often fit into series I have read by the same authors. Then again, I get to read new authors I hadn't found on my own before. In this one, I remembered how much I like Ms. Bardsley's writing, and Ms. Mills. I don't think I had read anything by 7 of the authors, but I really enjoyed all the stories and will be looking at their other books. It is like letting me into a candy store to think how many books I can read that I know will be good.
I especially want to mention "Rescued? by the Wolf" by Christina Rayne. It is in the same universe as "tempted by the Jaguar," but can totally be read on its own. I loved it. It was a different take on inter-species interaction between shifters. It had action and romance, and both the hero and heroine are kick-azz. loved it.
I also want to especially mention "Domlen's Way" by Solease Barner. This is in a universe that she has written other books about, but I haven't read them yet. I really enjoyed it and had no trouble understanding the characters and universe. It is really cool, because our hero is a royal dragon shifter and a sexual dominant. The title comes from the fact that he insists on his own control of his life, and he mother, the Queen, tries to make him do what she wants. There is some bondage, paddling, dragon shifting, and some strategy to get control of his life. There isn't really a heroine, but there are female characters. Very good.
This box set is quite varied. There are erotic scenes, action, wolves, bears, witches, dragons, lions, gargoyles, a supernatural protector with wings, a rock star, a dom, an incredibly scary fire spirit, a giant black cat and a cute little kitty cat with a twist--but all the males are wonderful alphas. Many of the ladies are kick-azz, too, and give the boys a run for their money. Some of the stories are pretty short, but I really enjoy being able to read a complete story in one sitting. Given the length of a couple of the stories, I got to know my main characters well and liked them. I got a lot of reading pleasure from this set. By the way, the text of the stories ends at 8760 kindle locations, which is over 500 pages.

"Wolves at the Door" by Sky Jones- Brooke goes to a National park in the Scottish Highlands to study the flora and fauna. One night she is in bed and hears tapping and scraping at her bedroom window. When she wakens later she finds a strange man in her room and adventure follows.

Another day –another anthology. While it is a great way to discover new authors or get additional stories from your favourites, for me, there are two main issues with anthologies: one- is that often author’s contribution would be a novella which is tied up to an established series, so unless you are familiar with it, it can be confusing and would take a bit of work to figure out “who is who in the zoo”. With some it is not difficult and with some it is a real hard task. The other issue, the one that happens quite often, is that those novellas won’t have a closure or resolution but are left open-ended with a lead-on to entice the reader to continue with the series. This anthology is not a stranger to both of those trends, however, in saying that I have found several stories that I really enjoyed and that have not left me confused or hanging. It also helped that I was familiar with some of the series. So, without further ado, here are the ratings:

Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley---4.0*. New author for me, and I enjoyed this story.

The Bear Witch Project by Renee George --- 3.0*

Her Dragon's Soul by Julia Mills --- 3.0* Found it to be too gushy and too sickly-sweet. (Definitely not a stand-alone as claims to be)

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh --- 3.5* Yes, a strong, confident woman can get intimidated by a light fixture.

Wolves at the Door by Skye Jones --- 3.0*. Was meh for me

Spring Mates by Lynn Tyler--- 3.5 * A sweet love story.

Breaking the Storm by Sedona Venez--- 2.5* My least favourite in this lot, both in characters and storyline. With little background and being open-ended, it felt more like a chapter from the middle of the book.

I was given a copy of this anthology in exchange for an honest review. I will be honest and say that I loved some of these books while others were not to my personal taste. Don’t let that stop you from buying and reading this set.

Having said that, I was blown away by the first story, Her Alpha Mate by Michele Bardsley – a first of her books I have read. It really went deep for their feelings and wrenched your gut out as to how much an alpha loves his mate.

Renee George’s The Bear Witch Project was another first-author-read for me and it, too, will make you reach deep.

Her Destiny by Brandy Walker was fun – although the author will probably cringe if she reads this. It was a different take for me and I found that I enjoyed it! And Felix the cat? Cracked me up!

KnightForce 1 by Sydney Addae was very deep and heavy on intrigue. It was well-written but I think if I had read more of the backstory, it would have been a better read for me. NOTHING against the author or the book – it was just confusing to me not to know more details.

Darkness Rising by Lisa Carlisle was really more a part of a story, for me, than a complete book. Again, the story was good…until it didn’t have an ending. But hey, for $.99, I can live with it!

Her Dragon’s Soul by Julia Mills was very good! Mates, Alphas, Dragons and Witches. What’s not to like?

The Gathering: Homecoming by Ellis Leigh. I LOVE this series! Sigh. Can I meet these folks? Translation: LOVED it!!

Wolves at the Door by Sky Jones – get ready to be on the edge of your seat. And where can I find a “Drew”??? Translation: LOVED it, too!

This is as far as I’ve read and I’ll update this review when I’ve completed. All in all, well worth the price and I recommend.

Great opportunity to read new authors and series for $0.99

This anthology introduced me to some authors and series I had never heard of, although, I didn't like this set as much as I have liked others in the past. Regardless of my middling feelings, it's still a great opportunity to sample a variety of shifter stories:

--Michele Bardsley's "Her Alpha Mate" is "A Fire Pack Rules" short story. While it can stand alone, I probably would have gotten more out of it if I had read the previous books. A barren wolf shifter sacrifices herself so her Alpha husband can move on and choose a new mate, one who can have pups and secure both his line and the pack's survival. Too bad her mate is not on board.

--I usually like Renee George's books, but "The Bear Witch Project" (love the pun) just didn't work for me. The story is well written; it just came down to individual taste. Someone is murdering shifters--should the investigating bear shifter kill his main suspect or just mate her?

-- "Spring Mates" by Lynn Taylor -a hot m/m story about gathering the nerve to commit. Liked it a lot.

--"Breaking the Storm" by Sedona Venez (an excerpt, not the full story)--I'm not a fan of rock star or D/s romances. In spite of that, this rock star D/s romance intrigued me enough that I finished it. I didn't like certain aspects of the D/s relationship, but at the end, I realized I wanted to read more. For $0.99 on Amazon, I can read the whole thing--not just this excerpt.
