Liam Knight is a hard-bodied streetfighter and renowned tattoo artist rising up the ranks of the UFC's Middleweight Division, but he's about to get knocked out by his past.

I met her in a graveyard.

She was cleaning broken glass from a concrete angel. I should've gone on my way, but she gnawed at the edges of my mind. She acted tough, but I saw through the mask; she'd never make it out there on her own.

I was a streetfighter making a name for myself in the city's underground fight clubs. Together we clawed out our survival on the city streets.

Until that night.

Everything shattered.

One thing I've come to understand; Real love always burns.

It's now ten years later.

For Quinn Kelley, Liam Knight was her home, once, but she lost it.

When fate gives them a second chance, will they let go of their fear and pride and let the flame between them become one?

Or will the heat burn them both?

Burn contains explicit material and profanity and is recommended for mature readers only. May contain potential triggers for some.

I was doing a re-read of Dare and thinking to myself that I could NOT wait to read the rest of this series. I was blown away.. AGAIN! What an incredible story line. Allie Juliette Mousseau has outdone herself with this one. This tight-knit group of friends siblings is heart-warming and such a beautiful relationship. I'm extremely looking forward to seeing what will be in store for the rest of them. As for Liam and Quinn .. SOULMATES .. these two were MADE for each other. Inserting cliche quote here (#DontJudgeMe) "If you love something set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If it does not come back, it was never meant to be." .. this definitely was the case in this novel. Despite the fact of not seeing each other for over a decade, Allie Juliette Mousseau did not rush nor speed up the story line however kept it at a steady pace which I favored. Liam and Quinn didn't have the best of their childhood nor was it stable however they had each other to lean on. I'm beginning to think that I won't have a favorite couple at the end of this series because so far I love both Sophie & Josh and now Liam & Quinn.

In the midst of winter,
I finally learned that there was
in me an invincible summer - Albert Camus

...
It reminds me that I'm a survivor.
For a while there, I wasn't so sure

Liam and Quinn met when they were teenagers living on the streets. Both went in and out of different foster homes before meeting and running from their horrible lives with each other. They end up at North house together, where the "Core Eight" was formed. Eight unlucky people brought together at Cade North's group home and forming a bond after tragedy strikes one of their own.

Quinn ran ten years ago and left Liam, never speaking to or seeing any of her friends again. Now she's back and brings painful memories with her. Liam has been unable to move on from her betrayal all of these year and now that she's back, he isn't sure he can forgive her.

This was a really emotional book and dealt with some pretty heavy issues. I loved the bond that Liam and Quinn formed when they were so young and in a situation not everyone could handle. They turned their lives around together when they were young and even after years of not seeing each other that bond has not broken. It was great to see that their love for one another never faded.

Liam and Quinn were a really cute couple and I was rooting for them to be together. It wasn't an easy journey that they had but they always had each others back and I loved that. Their stories were heartbreaking but I think that the author handled the deeply emotional parts really well. I did want a little more of Liam's story, though, since we didn't actually hear the worst parts until near the end and then it wasn't brought up again. We finally were told the full story of what happened to Quinn near the end, also, but we never heard of how she dealt with it once she left town.

The book goes back and forth from the present to the past and shows when Liam and Quinn met to when their relationship fell apart and then to now. It kind of felt like two different couples that I was reading about since their young selves were so different. The majority of the book seemed to be in the past and a lot of the beginning of the story wasn't them together. I honestly feel like we didn't get a lot of their story from the present and I was getting annoyed every time we jumped back to the past.

Overall, this was a good story that killed my emotions. I recommend this book to anyone that likes lots of angst and heartbreak and a sexy story of two people putting each others heart back together. I do recommend that Dare is read first, but it's not fully necessary.

I love it but not as much as the first one. Way to many flashbacks for me, and we didn't find out why she ran away until like 90%. I loved Liam and Quinn. They were both great, plus we got to see all the other brothers. Can't wait for the next book.

This was one of the most emotional books of 2015 for me. It was an ugly cry at parts and a laugh-out-loud at others. I knew that this author wouldn't disappoint me with the second book of the Brothers of Ink and Steel series.

We meet Quinn, our female heroine. Quinn is a young woman with a terrible past. When her parents decided that she was not important, she was thrown away, destined to spend her teenage years alone, wandering the streets.
Liam Knight is a man who has suffered greatly in the hands of his family. He grew up mostly alone while changing foster homes all the time.
He meets Quinn in a cemetery when he is fifteen. He sees something in her. Something inside of him shifts. Their hesitant friendship slowly blooms into love and Liam vows to protect and shelter Quinn in any way he can.

 photo 11138511_640477022749828_6694709115753099087_n_zpson3lh8g8.jpg

They spend most of their teenage years together, loving each other, until one tragic night forces them apart.
Quinn leaves and Liam, filled with hate and rage, he decides to make his own dreams come true without her in his life. The years pass, and when fate brings the two of them together again, their seemingly forgotten love is rekindled. Liam is now a successful MMA fighter and a highly prestigious tattoo artist. Quinn is in her final year of college and has blossomed into a beautiful woman.
Neither of them has forgotten what it was like to be together and their attraction sizzles as the story develops.

Can Liam forget Quinn's betrayal? Can Quinn push her past behind her and look forward? Will they ever find love and happiness?
I have to say that this author has an amazing way of making her characters real and extremely lovable. Her writing style is so eloquent and fresh that the pages flow quickly. I felt real emotions while reading this and this is rare for me. Also, the book deals with several difficult subject matters. Abuse, rape and emotional abandonment are prominent in the book's themes, but the development of the story gives them real depth and meaning.
The chemistry between the characters is out of this world. They were meant to be together; you can feel it in the pages.
Excellent work!!! I highly recommend it if you are looking for something warm, deep and emotional.

5 Stars from me!

“How can you love somebody so much, so deeply that it burns inside of. you like a consuming flame . . . but they don’t love you back?”

I am not sure what my expectations were with this book, I read and loved the first because it was witty and fun with a dash of drama and angst. Not a difficult read and right up this fighter book loving reviewers way. Burn was very different for me but in a surprising and exciting way. If there is one thing I love more than a fun fighter book it is a angst ridden new adult book and wow was there some angst in this one. Spanning the ten years from when Quinn and Liam were two kids on the street together to present day when a tragedy reunites them.

Burn is not an uplifting story about how things get better it is a story about acceptance and moving forward. Bad things happen to good people and that cannot be changed. I was overly anxious and eager to get to the HEA that these two deserved and I have to say Allie worked me hard and made me wait till the last possible moment. Ever page in Burn is dripping with emotion and depth and as I held back tears for these two lost kids I struggled with how much could go wrong for two souls detained to be together.

“Nothing has been right since you left, Quinn.”

The brothers of ink and steel is a bond we all can appreciate. There for each other no matter what, we know from Dare that the bond they have wasn’t always there. As youths living together in North House they struggled to get along and fought all the time. In Burn we get to find out the details of how they came together for the love they all shared for a girl in trouble. Formed together in a tragedy they have since always been there for each other and one of the best things about this book was seeing their transformation from angry teens to the brothers we are coming to love.

Being the only girl in the mix never bothered Quinn, both hard and soft, strong and weak, I loved her from the moment I met her and her story caused many a tear to fall from my eyes. I honestly don’t think there has ever been two people more deserving of a happily ever after and when at they finally get to that point in their lives after ten hard years the sad tears reside and the happy ones started to pour without abandon.

100 Stars, Extremely Emotional, Extremely Heartbreaking and yet Extremely Heartwarming at the same time!!!!!! Read with a box of tissues for sure!

OMG, I am completely emotionally drained right now as I have just finished the second book in this amazing, highly emotional series.... I cannot begin to express how much this Author Allie Juliette Mousseau has deeply affected me with her work of extreme brilliance! I am not kidding when I say that this series as of right now just blows my mind on the complexity of emotions I have felt. She has taken some extreme circumstances and made them so "real" to me in my mind and as I am reading these stories, I truly can "feel" every emotion that each one of these characters are going through. I am in awe, I don't have enough words in me to convey my emotions at the moment except to say that these stories are just brilliant and amazing and heart-wrenching and heartwarming a the same exact time....so full of complete and utter heartbreak and yet the love, the deep down "true love" that each of these characters feel for one other jumps right out of my Kindle and into my heart.

I am not going to lie, this book in particular just gutted me, literally. I mean full out sobbing at about 6AM this morning and I had to put it down briefly to collect my thoughts and re-focus. As soon as I picked it back up, I knew instantly that I couldn't and I wouldn't put it down until I got to the end because my heart wasn't only obliterated into a million pieces but was racing so fast that I NEEDED to know what was going to happen. THNAK GOODNESS my very broken heart was mended, slowly and PERFECTLY and FLAWLESSY, I might add!!!!!!!! hehehehe

I freaking loved Josh and Sophie hard in the first book and guess what, I felt the same intensity in this book for BOTH Liam and Quinn.... Oh yes, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these characters..... Quinn's story is more than heartbreaking...it's heart-wrenching and gutted me completely. Liam's story well, that was equally heartbreaking and my god, I needed to know that these 2 were going to make it.... This story was told in alternating views from past to present....and let me say this, I found myself in tears at times, but yet I was in such awe of how the two of them took care of each other and how much they meant to each other...it was awe inspiring! It was one of the most emotional reads for me and I as much as I needed to know what was going to happen, I almost felt like I wouldn't be able to continue. I was an emotional roller coaster throughout and yet at times I wanted to stop and yet I HAD to keep going...

This book, I knew would be a difficult to read in the sense that their stories would be beyond tragic and yet I had to know what happened (you get a glimpse in the first book of Quinn's tragedy but hell, it was so much more than what I originally thought) and so I took a couple of days before diving in because I knew I had to prepare myself but boy oh boy I still wasn't completely prepared, lol, but gosh the story just grabs you from the get-go and keeps you engrossed to the point that you can't put it down!

I cannot wait for the next story in this series, as a matter of fact, I cannot wait for ALL of the guys stories and as soon as they come out I will be one-clicking and stopping whatever I am doing, whatever I am reading and diving straight back into the world of these awe-inspiring, truly loving characters..... Sorry, I am so full of emotion and I can't express with enough words on how much I LOVE ALL the characters in these stories, including the secondary characters.....

CONGRATS Author Allie Juliette Mousseau you have once again blown my mind and just hell, blown me away with your writing and I am a fan of yours for life!!!!!!!! This series is just simply PERFECT and AMAZING and BRILLIANT and yeah, it's just beyond words for me:) GRAND FREAKING SLAM!!!!!!!!!!

Burn the second in the Brothers of Ink and Steel series by Allie Juliette Mousseau brings us into the world of Liam Knight and Quinn Kelley. They were secondary characters in book one Dare when Josh was living with the Core as a teen. Both Liam and Quinn were also part of the Core and the brothers although Quinn was the only woman in the band of brothers.

So now this story brings us to the dark and horrid world of growing up on the streets. For Liam and Quinn this is the world that they have been through into by no choice of their own doing. The story is told in present and past day with both Liam and Quinn recounting the occurrences that bring them together.

They start out as friends and then grow more into an everlasting relationship only to have that taken from each other. Liam never really gets over losing Quinn in his life and still carries his heart heavy for her. By no means has that changed for Quinn also because she has never stopped loving Liam and in her heart she still hopes that he will one day be able to forgive her for leaving.

There are times in the book that the story does becomes dark to the reader but for the most part it is a good solid story. I may have shed more than a few tears for Liam and Quinn and what they go through but Allie does an awesome job with this story.

I highly recommend reading this book along with Book One Dare, first to give you a better understanding of the background of Liam and Quinn. It is a book that will leave you wanting more...

MY REVIEW
This is one of the most emotional books i have read in a long time, good god the roller coaster you go on throughout this story will rip your heart out, make you smile till you cheek hurt, tear will roll down your face then you will find your self laugh-out-loud. Allie Juliette Mousseau has done such a wonderful job with this series, i thought i loved Dare but this one WOW! Brilliant.

The concept of the Brothers of Ink & Steel is so unique, i have never read a series like this one before. These guys are brothers not in blood, they chose to be brothers and they are amazing. The story of how they came together in North house and how they know each other deep down inside, the experiences they have shared, tattoos that tie them together, traumas they have suffered and come out the other side, these are truly a collection of remarkable men and there stories reflect that.

The journey that Quinn and Liam go on from child hood through to adulthood is traumatic, beautifully heart breaking, they had so much pain growing up but they found so much happiness in each other, they were two halves of one heart. The epilogue rounds this story off to perfection.
Cannot wait to read more about The brother of ink and steel.

5* book review by Nicole McCurdy @ Nic's Novel Idea

‘“This...this is your first time. This moment, this memory that we create tonight will be the one you remember.” I lay my hand over her beating heart. “The one nobody can taint or steal or tarnish.” I can hardly see her through her tears. “This is your first time- because it’s about you and me- and love. Our love.” Quinn sobs, and I wipe her tears as they fall. “It’s about me loving you and you loving me back. Do you understand?”

Allie Juliette Mousseau is fast becoming an author who is on par with the likes of Mia Sheridan and Tillie Cole in the depth and range of emotion she is capable of emitting through her words. She is able to take those brushed over everyday tragedies that barely skim our peripheral anymore and bring them into focus with the most heartbreaking yet optimistic and stunning love story. Liam and Quinn are the strongest, most resilient protagonists I’ve ever encountered. Suffering through abuse and homelessness respectively the two who only see themselves as weak and unworthy or unwanted are in fact the most deserving of love, understanding and compassion and in stunning fashion, find that together they bring out the best and brightest abilities in one another.

Quinn is just the sweetest and for every bad thing that happens to her along the way she seems to still come out fighting, even when she feels defeated or runs in retreat she manages to find some inner strength to persevere. Her character is the very essence of fierce. Liam is the quintessential hot tattooed bad boy with the heart of gold and soul of a saint. He goes on a journey of self discovery after Quinn enters his life and again when she re-enters it, he notices his souls’ counterpart in her and through their struggles and life altering events his love for her is as resilient as his character is.

I don’t want to spoil too much of the storyline because it’s definitely a book you need to traverse yourself to be able to feel the overwhelming range of emotions from it and I will say it’s probably a book you will either love or find a tad too angst filled and dark. For me it was perfect, it showcases not only Allie’s sterling writing technique and ability to create unbelievably real characters but also show that the worst of humanity still has the good guys fighting against it with love and devotion from the likes of the beautiful Cade and Debra North or The Brothers or even Liam and Quinn. There are some horrific scenes and gut-wrenching ones too but I’m a firm believer that if there are women or men out there that can suffer through these events and survive like heroes then I can do the common courtesy of reading about them and appreciate how incredible someone has to be to survive and Quinn and Liam are nothing if not survivors. Burn is completely different from Dare but in my opinion better, it’s more mature and has a darker feel to it, it’s serious but still able to incorporate some tremendous sexy scenes. Liam is gorgeous and downright drool-worthy with Quinn the perfect match in wit and intelligence so is it any wonder that when the two of them get together they’re combustible.

Hold Trilogy Book 3:
by Jayne Blue

I was given an ARC by the author for an honest review
Jayne Blue I've enjoyed plenty of her other books. So I was so happy to be given opportunity to give my opinion on her new Series Hold
In the Final Installment of The Hold Trilogy
Craddock's passion for Cassidy is no holds barred.
I don't want say too much about this book because I don't want to give the plot away...

The author does a great job capturing Craddock 's loss and grief of his mother. The way she has presented her hero's emotions is simply outstanding!
The book carries us through Cassidy 's journey after the shocking realization that Craddock pretty much trap her into spending the summer with him & Dylan. Cassidy hardly could say no to Craddock 's scheme after he donated to her professor's precious research program.
Craddock & G-Man were heading out on tour to promote the new stars of 21st Century Fighting League . 2 buses with the whole team for Craddock & G-Man...
No one knew but Meyer Thompson that Zeke Powers was to join this traveling circus of muscle, & dysfunction group .... Oh we can't forget that the lovely Ms Sunny was throw into this mix also ...
You can only imagine the drama that followed on this trip a cross country.
Heavyweight World Title was billed as the Super Bowl of MMA. It was the marquee event for the 21C and it meant billions of dollars

There was also a major tragedy on this trip. A tragedy that join together 2 long time rivals to put aside their animosity towards each other to support their community of MMA family together
We of course had our drama in this book , but we also had suspense & twist and turns

I'm in denial that this is the end of the series, Cuz i was unsatisfied with the ending. the author left me yearning for more at the end.

There is something about the way this author gets you emotionally involved with her characters from the start that makes you just want to take them into your arms and take away all the pain and abuse they have ever felt. I thought I had loved the previous book, Dare, but Burn has blown it away. Please make sure that you have read Dare before reading Burn, not only will you have a better understanding of the connection the characters share, but how they became brothers of ink and steel. I am going to warn you, this book deals with abuse and rape, it also deals with healing, love and the family you make not the one you are born into.

Liam and Quinn share a relationship that is special, they are each other’s other half. They protect each other, heal each other, and their story was one that should have never been dealt even more pain and suffering. I cried more than one time at the circumstances they were in, the hell both of them lived through, and the heartbreak literally shatter something inside of me. It is hard to describe the connection they share, all I can say is that while it may have been built on a painful past, it is something beautiful.

Allie Juliette Mousseau has written another book that is more than a survivor of abuse and rape, a fighter or a tattoo artist, but she has written a book that proves that family does not have to be only through dna, but it can be anyone who would ever have your back, help you heal from hell and show you what heaven can be like when you have people around who will fight to protect you and love you no matter what your past may have been. I really hope that the next book is released soon because I want to see how she is going to top Burn, which in my opinion is going to be damn hard to do.

After reading the first book in this series, Dare, I was really excited to read Burn. The story itself, once I was finished with the whole book, is very emotional and shows what perseverance and the support of others can accomplish. The one issue I had while reading was the constant flashbacks. Yes, they are necessary to tell the full story...but it kept flipping back and forth over and over to the point that it actually was a bit distracting to me. It was fine during the last third of the book or so when everything is so intense since the intensity keeps you drawn in, but until that point I would have preferred longer stretches between them.

As far as the characters go, Liam and Quinn are perfectly suited to each other, bonding while still teenagers when both their lives are in constant turmoil. They are both strong, resourceful, and once you look past all the craziness in their lives, their relationship is actually very sweet. But after being separated for ten years, they have to get used to each other again, and Liam has some bitter feelings to push past.

They both have a lot to work through, and Quinn has so many pent up feelings and issues to still deal with which makes for a lot of tension and drama. The more that builds, the further in the story pulls you.

Burn is a great overall read and addition to the series. We get to see more of the other "brothers", which really builds excitement for their upcoming stories. This was a 4-star read for me, that one star missing solely due to the persistent back and forth with the flashbacks. If you liked Dare, you'll be very happy with Burn. This book is for 18+ due to language, adult sexual situations, abuse and a powerful and disturbing rape scene (may be a trigger for some).

Burn by Allie Juliette Mousseau
5*

This is book two in The Brothers of Ink & Steel series and while it can certainly be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend you read Dare first because it was equally fantastic.

This book was such an incredible journey not only for Liam & Quinn, but also for us. Book one touched a little on what Quinn had been through in her young life, but here we are given both the nitty and the gritty and it is truly heartbreaking.

I wasn't prepared for this but I absolutely fell in love with Liam. Big, strong, tough. Loving, kind-hearted, just downright sexy! The things he went through and what he did for Quinn just reduced me to tears and tugged at my heartstrings.
Quinn is also a character that you cannot help but love. After everything she'd been through, she still had a smile and her faith in Liam. She is amazing. She is a survivor.
To read and understand what Quinn and Liam had gone through makes you realize what amazing characters with great depth and appeal Allie Juliette Mousseau has created and developed. I had smiles, laughter and tears throughout and I loved every bit of it.
I love that we got to know the other brothers a little more in this book and I really can't wait for their stories. It's also interesting learning the different dynamics between them all and with Quinn.
The story alternates both in point of view and also between the past and present and both are done brilliantly, causing no confusion. I loved this book and would definitely recommend, however there may be triggers for some.

5 Stars!

I loved this book. Full of emotions and feelings, this book will make you want to smile and cry at the same time. This book will speak to your soul. This book will make you believe in second chances. I loved every word of this book. Told in the past and present, get ready to be immersed in a beautifully flawed love story that will make you believe in happy endings.

This is Quinn and Liam's story. Quinn and Liam were once in love. They once thought thy had a future together. Sure they lived on the streets and had horrible backgrounds but they knew they had each other. But what happens when tragedy strikes and leaves you broken? Now years later, Quinn is back. Can you right the wrongs of the past? Can you forgive the person who tore your life apart? Is it possible to restore the love you once had or did it ever leave?

What a beautifully broken love story Quinn and Liam had. Torn between the past and present, these two will make your heat bleed. They will make you cry. They will make you feel. I admired Quinn. It took strength and guts for her to come back and face her past. And Liam, such a sweet and gentle soul despite the gruff outside nature he had. Both faced such hard times but had each other when it was the toughest. My heart bled watching them in the past and looking at the struggle.

I highly recommend this book.

Burn is the second book in the Brothers of Ink and Steel series. I loved Dare, the first book in this series and I thought it would be hard for Burn to be better but OMG was I wrong! Allie had my emotions all over the place with this book.

Burn is about Liam and Quinn. Their love story began when they were teenagers. They went through so much together and each of them also had terrible pasts to overcome. I felt so connected to both Liam and Quinn, they were both amazing characters full of amazing qualities. They both never really had a relationship with their parents. Liam seemed to over come this better than Quinn. Quinn always wanted her mother's love and acceptance. Every time I read that Quinn thought no one could love her because even her own mother didn't, ripped out a piece of my heart. I cried and cried for Quinn and Liam and the terrible things that they endured in their lives. And then celebrated with them at the wonder people that they became in spite of it all. The North house provided a family that each of these kids so desperately needed and helped shape them into the adults they became.

Burn is one of my top reads this year! The love between Liam and Quinn is amazing..."Even the stars cannot compare."

I was given a copy for an honest review.

I have been so looking forward to reading Burn, I was beyone excited when it showed up on my kindle Inliterally stopped everything I was doing. Allie did not disappoint me one bit. This story is a tough one and the emotions I felt while reading will stay with me.

Of course all the characters are amazing and have a great combination, but for sure Liam and Quinn stole the show. The relationship between them was filled with love and so much understanding of each other that I could not even imaagine them with anyone else. Their stories are filled with so much pain and tragedy that it honestly leaves you rooting for them. Hoping they get some peace in their lives!

Burn sucks you in from the first page. I loved everything about this book, from the characters, the plot and the twists that are thrown your way. Allie's writing and making you feel the pain and emotions and above everything the love of these characters is unbelievable!

I would definitley recommend Burn to everyone. I love all these characters and can not wait for the next book!!

Liam Knight the kid no one wanted. He's been through the system but until he lands at North House, he's never had a home or a family. He's a fighter through and through. He would have fought to the death for Quinn Kelley.
Quinn Kelley has searched for love her entire life. Her mother didn't want her, and didn't hide it. Her father let her get pushed out by her step-mother. She's been on her own for as long as she can remember, even when she lived at home. When she finds Liam and moves into the North House, life finally starts coming together.

One night changes the fate of two people for the next 10 years. Alone, loveless, and lost again, can fate bring them back together? Can a long lost love return and become the love they have both been searching their entire lives for?

This book was absolutely amazing. We saw a little bit of Liam in Burn but this is his book. We see what has made Liam and Quinn into the adults they were. We see the struggle, the heartache, the love, and the fear.

Another amazing book by Allie in her Brothers of Ink and Steel series. This one is about 2 soul mates who are meant to be together but the worst imaginable thing that could happen, happens. Tearing them apart. But what if time is what was needed to heal one and the other comes to realize this. This is a flashback story that is needed to help us get to where they are today. Now throw in a weird sense of fate, will this be strong enough to bring the 2 soulmates back together?...I guess you'll have to read to find out. My favorite line from this book: "You took my heart with you. How I know is because for the first time in ten years, I can feel it beating again".

5 great big LIAM stars!! Just Perfect! I didn't think I could love anyone as much as Josh! You have proved me wrong!! For a second book I am always so worried, will it be as good? Will I be disappointed? NOPE!! Burn was amazing! Quinn is a strong, super strong character and Liam is just perfect! We were introduced to them in Dare, and in this their novel, we get to see and understand them so much more. Heartbreaking, and full of love this second installment of "Brothers of Ink and Steel" fulfilled all of my heart's desires!!!! Thank you Ms. Mousseau for your brilliance! I can't wait to read what comes next!

HEARTWARMING

I knew this would be a hard book for me to read because of Quinn's story. But it was so worth it. I couldn't put it down. This is such a great read. I think I still like Josh and Sophie's story better but that's because of the content of this one. Not that it's a bad story line. I love the history that Liam and Quinn have together and the love they never lost. This is definitely a second chance story. Can't wait for the rest of the brothers to get their happy ending.

Oh my dear God those two poor souls. They face so much, so much pain, so much struggle so young. But their love was meant to be and even with all the scars, ugliness and everything bad they had to go through, their love was beautiful.

Liam was thoughtful, so perfect with Quinn I love them together.

I'm really loving this series!!!!!

I am already a huge fan of the True North series and now the Brothers of Ink and Steel. I went through so many emotions with this story. I enjoyed the dual pov and I liked the going back to the past throughout to learn Liam and Quinn's beginnings. They both had rough starts as children and the fact they met in their teenage years was a miracle for both. They literally did save each others lives. They had a connection from the beginning that even lasted through a 10 year absence from one another. They both survived brutal and horrific events. I pulled for them though out the story and felt for them both as they struggled to find their place with one another again. I loved the rest of the band of brothers and Cade and Debra who gave them a safe haven to come together when they were kids and even now as adults. That is their true home for Liam and Quinn, other than with each other. I was so touched, emotionally moved to tears, angered by the abuse they both lived through as kids, and then happy to come out the other side seeing they both ended up where they truly belonged. I can not say enough about how much I loved this story and how it stayed with me days after finishing the book. Every one of the books to follow will be a 1 click for me!!

Emotionally charged

I really liked the True North Series but I am truly loving the Brothers of Ink and Steel Series. These characters are so emotionally charged and have such amazing depth to them. I believe each character gets better as we begin to know them.
Liam and Quinn. What a super couple. They really make the saying if you were meant to be together then it will happen.
I loved the continual flashbacks to their younger years. I enjoyed learning about their never ending love as well as all the heartache they both endured. I am truly amazed at how they both overcame so many obstacles. Liam is such a loyal, fun loving, giving character and Quinn is a hot mess; that's head strong, loyal, beautiful and has so much determination in her. They really are two halves of a whole, like the author says in her book.
I really enjoyed this book. It was refreshing to have so much depth that didn't revolve around how much chemistry they had. Don't get me wrong I'm all for hot sex scenes but this book didn't need that...yes there are hot sex scenes but the plot is so much better. This book is an emotional read but it gives new meaning to hope and fate and that there is good in the midst of evil. I don't want to spoil the read so just read it!
